Nick Janet – State Farm Insurance Agent

I’ve had my policy for about 3 years untill recently when it was cancelled with out my knowledge. I guess somehow a payment didn’t go through so they «called» me on Jan 26^th and say they left a message which i never got. Then since it was so important they waited almost a month Feb 22^nd to send me an email. Then when they didn’t get a reply they decided to wait ANOTHER MONTH!!! to send my bill to the wrong address (how i do not know seeing as my policy is for MY CURRENT ADDRESS!!! And now its 8 times the amount!

We have been working with Nick for our insurance needs for the past 4 years. We have received prompt and friendly service and find their agency very easy to work with. I would highly recommend Nick and his staff.

Have had insurance through this agency for many years and always happy with response time and their general customer service. Luckily, I don’t need them too often, knock on wood!

I would rate Nicks service extremely highly. Unfortunately we have had to use State Farm services multiple times because of damages to our home and automobile. Nick has been very responsive and helpful in all cases. He is knowledgeable proactive and very professional. In an industry filled with people who don’t care Nick stands out.

Best insurance agency that I’ve been to. Everyone is super helpful and honest they answer any questions you might have. I definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a new insurance agent.

Reading the review below has made me want to write one as well. One person’s bad experience is not representative of all their customers. I’ve been with this agency for several years now and have never had an issue with their customer service. It’s true that State Farm can be considered expensive compared to other insurance companies but it is well worth the money. Especially at this agency.
I also have not dealt very much with Nick Janet in specific, but that is because the people he has working for him are efficient enough to get the job done. If at any point they feel it’s beyond them, they consult with him and quickly get me the answers I need. I stay with this agency because I feel all the employees try their best to put my interests first, which is not something that comes easily with any company and I appreciate it to the fullest.

State Farm is more expensive than other insurance agencies, that is no secret. But with paying extra, I expect to get extra. I would expect responsiveness to my calls, good customer care, and priority to the clients. However, ever since I got this agent about 7 months ago, it has been extremely painful.
Every time I call into the office, I never get to talk to Nick, who is the State Farm agent. Instead, I always talk to one of the three assistants. It’s like going to the doctor’s office and never getting to see the actual doctor, and only talking to the nurses. I am paying for the doctor!
The most recent experience I had with Nick made me drop him as an agent. I had asked Nick a few months ago to get me a quote for bike insurance on a new $ 1400 road bike that I had recently purchased. Even though I never confirmed that I wanted the bike insurance, the agency still charged me for it! They called one day asking for a payment, and after saying I never wanted the insurance, they threatened me to collections. So, I ended up just paying it instead of dealing with more pain.
So, this is how the agency lost me as a customer. They lost me for homeowner’s insurance, bicycle insurance, and car insurance.
Being a happy State Farm customer for many years, I didn’t expect to be treated like this by switching to a new agent. I figured, shouldn’t all State Farm agents live by the same vision? Evidently not!
