CPR Right Away

I got quickly certified which was good. But the guy teaching was kind of rude. The location was kind of heard to find. You have to walk up the stairs, enter the building, and the walk down the hallway to find it.

Well professional very friendly and it was not long and drawn out made it very interesting

My favorite thing about CPR right away is that they laminate your certificate!!! Haha… No really that is not the best part about this facility… The instructor that I had Tim, did not stop teaching me until it clicked in my head. The training is so specific to what is important that you are not confused. This place really knows their material and I hv never had better training anywhere!!! They will accommodate ur schedule. Guess that is why the name is CPR right away… They get back to u right away and they make sure u get in on a class right away. Thank u so much Tim and Hersher (i know I botched ur name really bad) NICU guy… U are all awesome

Took a continuation cpr course with Tim and his mother. Tim was very rude to my classmates asking questions and was rude to me. He lied and stated that my previous license was not valid to try and convince me to take another course with him. Will not be recommending this company or returning.

I don’t write reviews too often but I felt the need to after going here. Tim did such a great job in teaching during my CPR class. He was incredibly knowledgable and overflowed with more and more useful info I felt he could go on forever if he wanted to. He did an incredible job at getting everyone together and having us all work as a team and coordinate with one another while we simulated real life situations. He was very helpful in all questions that were asked and was very personable and friendly. I’d definitely recommend going here for CPR. They also offer ACLS, IV, and much much more. I will definitely be going back here!

This place was great. It was my first time taking the course and Tim and Herson were so informative and very helpful. I worked with Herson, personally, which was great since this was my first class and he explained everything very clearly. I highly recommend going to CPR right away if you are both first timers or individuals recerting. Thanks guys!

I called and needed my BLS as soon as possible and they got me in a class the very next day and only took 2 hours (time flew by). My first CPR class that i wasnt bored to death. The price was way below anyone else. I definetly recommend to all.

Awesome class and staff. Today, I took a AHA BLS CPR/​First Aid course with a few of my fellow nursing class mates. There was 5 of us nursing student for the BLS CPR/​First Aid and one pastor for the heartsaver CPR/​first aid class. We had Tim & Herson (not sure on spelling) and they were great! They also had tips for us going into nursing and provided examples of what they have experienced in their careers in the medical field. But they made sure to provide examples of how the techniques we were learning would apply to everyday life even for the pastor.
They were up to date on the changes made to the techniques we were learning. I learned things in this session that I didn’t learn the past two times I got my CPR certification. They also provided coffee and candy for those who need a little pick me up. They have great prices for their classes. And offer group discounts.
We took 4 hours for the BLS and First aid combo. The pastor who only needed heartsaver left earlier than us. We took a little test after but they go over the material. No book required for our course.
Highly recommend! I’ll be coming here every time I need re-​certification or even higher level classes.

My classmates and I have been dealing with CPR Right Away for a while. They are very professional, to the point, informative, and accommodating! They came to our campus to renew our BLS for an awesome price. They even had our cards already printed out after the class!
We liked them so much that we took other classes with them. Tim, Herson, and Carol are swimming with knowledge to share with everyone! They break things down very easily to make things easy to understand. Best of all, they have the lowest prices in town! We have highly recommended them to incoming students, and have not had any other complaints. Thanks guys! You are the BEST!

Came in this morning with some fellow classmates. My classmate said she got a group deal for us and it was just $ 30! So I figured why not. We started at 8am and had an instructor named Dean. He was very good on explaining what needed to be done in emergency situations. An hr later some other students showed up and another instructor showed up. I thought that was different, we dont really mix classes in the original cpr class I go to. The second instructor was teaching the whole class now, and the other ppl just joined in. He was a ok instructor as well, just a bit in your face, yelling and questioning you whether or not you can really go into a profession you’ve been wanting to be in LOL –2stars for that. Thought that was a little weird… Haha but anyways we partnered up and shared the dummies and did a lot of practice. Overall good place to come and get licensed for CPR.

Tim was very informative and helpful. I learned a lot more with him than when I took my CPR course 5 years ago. Hours and scheduling are flexible; I thought I would have to wait a whole month to get a class but was immediately accommodated. Like many others stated Tim laminates the certificates right there, very professional.
I will definitely be coming back when I have to renew and he gives discounts for college students just bring in proof of registration and you’re good to go. (i.e. Harbor college/​El Camino)

Great Class not many people here usually during weekdays so you basically get one on one training which i think is great.
The trainer quality is great and clear to the point.
best part! is that instructor prints the certificate out right in front of you on the day of your visit!

Just finished renewing my ACLS and BLS at CPR Right Away. I chose them after a fellow RN traveler referred me and I’m glad I went with her advice Tim, one of the instructors, was very friendly, knowledgeable and skilled in his profession. He explained everything and I felt very comfortable. Nothing is worse than feeling put on the spot which makes me nervous and then I can’t think. This experience was the best renewal I ever had. It was painless and fun at the same time. They are open everyday, very flexible and willing to accommodate. You can’t go wrong here! I will definitely be back when it’s renewal time. Thank you!

Great instructors! Extremly knowledgable in their fields!!! Comfortable setting, very clean and well kept. Good for everyone from Girl Scouts to nurses to nursery workers. Or if you just want to be prepared to help in case of an emergancy. They go above and beyond the call of duty and I highly recommend coming to them. Macks an beverages are also provided.

It was a fun class to take to renew my CPR and first aid certification for my work. They made it fun and really applicable to the professions of those who attended. Because they made an effort to make it fun, the class went by pretty quickly.

CPR Right Away made it so easy. Called the day before, got the class the next day. Checked in and they were right on their Unilocal discount promise. Our instructed Dean was friendly and amiable from the start, didn’t have any complaints whatsoever about him all throughout the whole thing. He was eloquent which is huge for instructors and he was funny and shared relevant things and didn’t really ramble or go off on tangents. You can tell he knows what he’s doing. Learned a lot of new things. The facility was well equipped got to play with the mannequins and the AEDs and the hands on practice I thought, were very helpful in feeling confident about the skills we were learning. Plus they laminated my certs so that was a nice perk lol Highly recommend this place. Now I actually feel like I can save a life if necessary lol

My whole experience with CPR Right Away was great! I called Tim 2 days ahead to schedule an ACLS class and he sent me a study guide to prepare me for class. When I got to my appointment we started right away. He was thorough and made sure I understood everything. He accommodated everyone basing on their needs or speed of processing unfamiliar material. He’s friendly and knowledgeable. And the price? Ai! You can’t beat that deal! Call them and u would be surprised at how cheap it is for such good quality of teaching.
The only thing I didn’t like is that there’s a test! After passing NCLEX I swore never to take a test again! Hahaha nonetheless, Im going to refer my friends to this place if they need acls or bls.
