Found this little spot today and decided to give it a try. Glad I did! They have a good variety on their menu. I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich combo and added avocado it was lol. We also ordered onion rings for the table and they were so good! We are stuffed! The staff here are very friendly. And they have a cute patio for outside eating, perfect for these summer days. We will be back!

Always on the hunt for a better breakfast and brunch place in the South Bay since there seems to be nothing other than the usual craptastic greasy spoons to make your ass grow wide like Norms, Big Bear Diner or the outrageously loud and annoying Pancake House, Lomita’s Best offers a wider menu with better ingredients like feta cheese, cilantro, salsa verde and more. As a vegetarian, they offer incredible breakfast burritos and omelettes that surpass Why Not Burger’s and put their competitors’ prices to shame. A breakfast for a family of three was less than $ 23. Although their walk up counter isn’t the classiest, they at least have a nice outdoor patio with relatively nice furniture(if you can bear the loud traffic of Lomita Blvd). If they added a few more gourmet ingredients like basil, sundries tomatoes and even bursts cheese(hey, a girl can dream, right), we’d be here every morning!

Had to go check out this joint after seeing the reviews and the pics of the breakfast burritos. I was not disappointed. It even had a drive-through which made it super convenient and there’s outdoor seating so you can bring your pet. It took forever to get our food though, so I’m not sure if that is standard or just happen to be super busy that day. I will definitely have to go back because the food is amazing.

Been here twice so far, ordered pancake breakfast first time & Lomita breakfast burrito the second time. They were both alright. They give good portions of food but they are not anything special.

This place was okay. It was my first visit and maybe I should give it one more shot. The fried chicken pieces in the fried chicken salad was soggy and did not have a lot of flavor. The dressing didn’t help. The chili was okay. The milkshake was really milky — so the flavor was non-existent. I might give it one more try but I really was not impressed.

My meal was great. Great place for breakfast in Habor City! Dont over look this place becauee McDonald’s is right down the street. They cost just as much except the food here is fresh like having a home cooked meal.

This place is awesome! They always custom make the Greek salad for me. I wish I knew the name of both the guys that work the drive thru, they both do a great job! Also, the Spinach & Feta omelet rocks! Dont forget to try the one if the steak dinners, all around Lomita Best is a great choice for Breakfast, lunch or dinner.

My first experience with Lomita’s Best… tried the pastrami omelete. The food was good. Rich ate the carne asada breakfast burrito and liked it. Bob got sausage and eggs and ate it all. The place is spotless. Several cops were eating there too… Loved the dog water dish for locals. The food was good, prices fair, and super clean. Nothing spectacular on the menu, but good honest fare.

We literally live in walking distance and love all the good smells that come from this place. The portions are big, the food is cooked to order(and fast) and the staff are super friendly. The tuna melt is one of the kids fave thing to get and I’m in love with the pastrami burger! ! Can’t wait to try the breakfast out, I hear they make a mean burrito! !

They offer a wide variety of items on their menu, but I always seem to order the same thing, bacon breakfast burrito. The interior and exterior are generally clean, but it can be difficult to find a clean table. It would make a world of difference if a person can walk out to the dining area after a guest leaves and clears and cleans the table. There is nothing worse then putting your arm down in pancake syrup.

Their staff is great, the environment is quaint and intimate, and they work in a timely manner. My only wish is that their dining area be bigger so I can take my friends here and not occupy the entire dining area leaving very little room for others to dine.

It seems the more I’ve eaten there the worse it gets. The staff is awesome and the place is a landmark building but it’s just another grease pit where the Mexican food is better than the establishments main dishes… Taken back food 2 times now and I’m done, even the meat is now some chewy frozen burger meat and if not stop getting it from a mexican market like the Carne Asad… I’m not racist it’s just you don’t get sushi from a gas station so why would you get American meat for an American meal from a mexican market, don’t believe me taste it for yourself, oh and ps the cheese is horrible it’s like government cheese…

My family and I decided to try this restaurant after hearing about it from a satisfied customer(our older son). The place didn’t disappoint. We were greeted by one of the owners and given menu suggestions. All three of us had the carne asada plate. It was delicious and authentic. By the looks of the menu I’d guess that burgers and fries are their main thing, but I’ll tell you they do carne asada as well as anyone else. We also had the New England clam chowder(funny combo with carne asada, right!?). The flavor was superb and it was a generous bowl that was included with the dinner. I was struck by how clean the the restaurant was. I wish other places cared about cleanliness like these guys do. The food was brought to our table without delay, and we enjoyed our meal in the pleasant and quiet dining room. There’s also a nice outdoor dining area, but it was a bit too cold for us to try. I’m kind of an iced tea snob, and greatly prefer FRESH, brewed iced tea to the swill that comes out of a soda fountain. The tea at Lomita’s Best is definitely fresh and brewed. It’s just right — not too strong, not too weak.(They really won me over on this one!) I’ll be back for sure. Next time I’m going to try a burger and fries. Maybe this will become a regular place for me!

Love their spinach feta wrap and fries! Good service. Clean tables. Manager walks around checking in with the customers which is kind of nice.

Pretty good. I believe this location used to be a Numero Uno Pizzeria. It seemed to be empty for quite a while before Lomita’s Best appeared. Right off the bat this place is very convenient to get to right on Lomita blvd between Narbonne and Crenshaw. Ample parking and even a drive through which is pretty cool for getting a on the go breakfast burrito. We ordered the chili verde breakfast burrito, the polish sausage breakfast burrito and the pancake plate. There were only two of us but we wanted pancakes and it was only a dollar more to get the plate rather than just an order of pancakes. The plate came with eggs cooked to your liking, 2 sausage links, 2 bacon pieces and 2 pancakes. Overall the plate was just ok nothing special your average tasting everything. The syrup for the pancakes is a corn syrup mess super sweet and potentially toxic. The breakfast burritos on the other hand were excellent. Besides the meat choices polish sausage and chili verde the burritos consisted of hash browns, cheese and eggs. Both were spectacular. I will definitely be back for more of those. They only have fountain drinks from what I could tell which is ok but once again just ok. The prices were great though the entire meal 2 burritos and the plate was about 20 dollars. Seriously affordable and very filling!!!

I disagree, it’s not quiet«Lomita’s Best» or at least I hope not. Food: I ordered their veggie omelette and hash browns with rye toast. The omelette was delicious but the hash browns were reheated. It was soggy and tasted like it was cooked the a day or two prior. I love hash browns and the one I received dampened my experience. Customer Service: I walked up to the counter and the two young ladies on the other side kept talking as I stood there. A young lady checked on how my friend and I were doing but that was about it. I did not want to drink too much water and no employee walking around asked, so it worked out. Décor/Parking The place is tidy. It was very clean and the patio area looked nice! There was plenty of parking when I visited and they also have a drive thru. Their logo is creative. Overall, I will not come back. I was really excited to try this place out, especially with reading all the reviews. I tried it, my experience was not the greatest, and now on to the next bookmarked!

New place in Lomita. Easy parking. Coverted Taco Bell, but nice dining area & cute patio. Order at the counter & they bring the food to your table. Service was quick & the owner came over to check if everything was ok. Food is delicious. I had Chorizo & Eggs, my wife had the Greek salad, & we shared a small side odd fried mushrooms. It was all great. Looks like we found a be fav place for breakfast

This place opened recently where there once was a pizza joint. The building is a 70’s/80’s taco bell with the arches. It has been completely remodeled and has an outdoor patio. The entire place was very clean. The food and service was excellent. I had the chile verde breakfast burrito. Yum. One member of my lunch posse had the burger combo. The other had the club sandwich. Each of my friends really liked what they had. I am very glad that this place has good food. It will go into our lunch rotation. The nearby Fantastic Café once held that spot until a recent change of ownership. Fantastic became mediocre at that point. This place is the best in terms of burger joints in the area.
