I loved it here! the owner is so friendly and welcoming, would definitely recommend this place for some great one on one time with talented instructors, environment is awesome/​great music was playing and they have an extensive art library to reference while you work!

Summer Studios is a great place for adult, teen or child enrichment. They have an excellent mix of classes for all age groups, covering many types of art. The staff is very friendly, knowledgeable and patient with all levels of aspiring artists. My son has taken the Beginning Cartooning class for teens taught by Jeannette, which he looks forward to each week. Jeannette has years of experience working on animated TV shows, and has helped my son improve his technique dramatically.

Studio owner is very friendly. Bought a wooden figure in Mexico unpacked our bags and saw there was a broken piece on it. I brought my figure in and got it repaired. Very fast and through work. He even guaranteed his services on my repair.
Very cool studio for all kinds of crafting playforms available here.

Best place to go in Lomita. Great classes. Great people. This studio is a rare find in Southern California. Parking is easy. Space has high ceilings and is relaxing to create. Staff is exceptional. They sell student creations that are unbelievably beautiful and well priced — great place for gifts. Everyone of all ages is here and learning and having fun. They have a library of art books complete with a library cat! Is a living, breathing place where I always feel welcomed. The classes include everyone with beginning skills to advanced. Highly recommended.

I have been searching for a ceramics studio around torrance and found Summer Studios.
This place has metal welding, drawing, painting, animation, sculpture, and a ceramics studio all in one place. (Along with beautiful birds and a cat that loves people)
Where else has all this?
The teachers are very skilled and enthusiastic about helping you.
OOOh, also they have Gifted Sales coming up on November 27th, which are set up to support the local artists and help you search for the perfect gifts for your loved ones. I’ll definitely be there!

What a great Art studio! You will receive terrific 1:1 instruction from the best! I took a water color class with David, the director, and learned a tremendous amount. The instructors there are extremely knowledgeable and skilled in their craft and will help you grow as an artist, where ever you are in your practice. I will definitely be returning for another class soon! :)

Summer Studios is a gem in the heart of Lomita. I have a lot of interest but not much experience in art and this studio was a great place to start for me. I’ve seen many students who are extremely advanced but I was not alone as a beginner. I received sketching classes from David, the director of the art studio and it was fantastic. He is patient and is not only a very talented artist, but also a wonderful art teacher. I would recommend Summer Studios to anyone interested in art as they have all kinds of mediums, teachers and levels that they teach.
