Description

Specialties

Sissy’s is a Springer family-owned business, where Mom, Dad, Son, Daughter and Son-in-Law welcome you with our delicious cuisine, fine wines and warm hospitality. It was always our dream to own an award-winning restaurant on the Central Coast, and since 2002, we’ve been living that dream!

Chefs Janan (daughter) and Jon (son) are busy in the kitchen, preparing meals with the freshest and finest ingredients. Our famous desserts are all made here by Dave (dad) and Norma Anderson. Dorothy (mom) and Steve (son-in-law) are out front, making sure our guests are well served. We invite you to stop by for lunch every day except Sunday or for dinner on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

Our wine cellar, with over 300 different labels of difficult to find local wines, is one of the largest selections of Central Coast wines. The wine store also offers a selection of wine bags, custom gift baskets, and hand-made gifts. The Wine Store and Tasting Bar are open six days each week.

History

Established in 2002.

Our family, Mom, Dad, Son (Jon)and Daughter (Janan) were involved

in franchised sandwich business since 1989. We wanted to

move to the Central Coast and operate a full service restaurant

where we could serve quality food and fine wines. In

2002 we purchased Sissy’s and not only is our immediate

family working here, but Janan’s husband and Jon’s

wife have also joined us. When we purchased Sissy’s it

was only a small «café» open for lunch Monday-Friday.

We have tripled the seating capacity and now are open for

lunch six days a week plus three nights a week,

Thursday, Friday and Saturday we feature a full service

menu with fresh fresh, filet mignon, lamb chops, gourmet

hamburgers, pastas and some of the popular lunch items.

In 2005 we added a retail wine and gift store and specialize

in local wines from small wineries. such as Sea Smoke pinots.

Many of our wines are available by the glass or for tasting.
