Absolutely loved my first skydiving experience here! Took my dad for father’s day and everything was quick, the weather was perfect, everyone was so nice, and our instructors were GREAT! I had Tim, and I would definitely go back with him again, from the moment he meets you, he makes you feel comfortable and pumps you up. The view at this location is amazing. Cant wait to go back to my second jump! Thanks Tim! You were awesome!

My great friend and I decided to go sky diving we did the 13K and what better place than Santa Barbara (or close to.)
I had Randy as my person to help me jump and we went upside down and it was amazing!
I purchased video and pictures. I’m so glad I did, what a wonderful memory.

Loved my first time sky diving, went with Zak as a guide. He is experienced, professional and nice. The video came out great too. Would do it again!

If you’ve ever been considering skydiving, I highly recommend you go to Skydive Santa Barbara. My friend surprised me with a tandem jump for my birthday. I love heights and am somewhat of a thrill seeker but I was a for sure nervous when i got there. The staff was wonderful and made everything simple and easy. My jump «partner» was Mike McCann and I am so happy I was paired up with him. He was funny and tried to break my nervousness the whole time. The whole plane was fun of instructors who made you feel comfortable and at ease. There’s no better feeling than skydiving and I was definitely hooked after the first jump. We went a second time right after! If you get the pleasure of doing with Mike or Casey you will for sure be in good hands and will have the time of your life. So get out there and jump, you won’t regret it!

The best place ever to work and a safe place to do dangerous stuff! Great staff and super cool owner that is meticulous about his jumping equipment and aircraft maintenance. Puts customers safety and best interest first always! Go here! Make a memory of a lifetime! Bring your Grandma too!

I took my 5 friends here for one of their birthday gifts. It was an absolute amazing experience. I had booked a sky dive a few days in advance and Molly was very helpful and accommodating on the phone. Once we got to the hangar, the rest of the group wanted to skydive as well and the whole staff was super accommodating and was able to get them all on the same plane. I didn’t sky dive, but they were super cool with me hanging out with my friends as they were getting ready so I could take a few photos. The instructors were soooooo helpful and my friends felt very safe with them. Overall, this was an amazing and easy going experience. We can’t wait to come back!

First don’t bother with their online website reservations, it’s based on first come basis. They offer mil discount and if you’re over 200lbs expect to pay $ 1 per lb over. So much cheaper than in Texas.

Absolutely incredible! My first jump and from 18,000 feet, and amazing! I figured I’d only do this once so go high or go home, but now that I’ve experienced it I’ll be back. That was, to a person, a sentiment echoed with everyone I spoke to arriving from their jumps, along with huge smiles!
I shared this special activity with 3 of my siblings for my milestone birthday. I had decided 6 months before the day I would do this and told multiple people. I started getting nervous about a month prior to the date, and if I would not have shared the info with others I may have well not gone through with it. What a mistake that would have been!
Mark was my instructor and what a great guy and professional! For instance, my sibling’s had their harnesses put on fairly tight compared to mine, I thought, which I noticed prior to boarding the plane. This made me a bit nervous but when I mentioned it to Mark he explained it was so I’d be comfortable and he would tighten it up once we were on the plane, which of course he did. How thoughtful! And he patiently answered all my questions, most of which were redundant, I’m sure. Also, our landing was perfectly smooth! On our way down Mark asked me to put my legs up so he could see how far they’d go. He then had me make a couple of adjustments on the harness and when I put them up again he was satisfied. Before landing he instructed me to put my legs up and/​or stand if he asked. I followed his direction and my siblings all commented on how smooth our landing was!
Weather is unpredictable, and of course leading up to jump day it was no different. Be prepared to spend half a day there, which they do state on their website. I started calling 3 days before as I live locally and I knew it was forecast to be rainy and stormy. Meredith explained their procedures and each time told me when to call back to get the most up to date info. 2 of my siblings were coming from out of town for a couple days so we were hoping and praying to be able to jump within their time frame. The day of when I called we were told at the moment it was a go, so we opted to hop in the car and head that way, keeping our fingers crossed it would all work out. We were on the last plane of the day, 5 minutes from boarding, when the winds picked up and conditions were determined unsafe. We waited approximately an hour for them to die down and then we were off. We certainly appreciated the attention to safety.
Everyone we interacted with at Skydive Santa Barbara was friendly, professional and safety conscious.
Skydiving is truly the experience of a lifetime, indescribable and not at all what you imagine. Do not be afraid if you are terrified of roller coasters; this is not comparable at all! I will not even get on a roller coaster myself. You know you are falling to earth but you don’t feel as though you are, if that makes sense, and the views will take your breath away! Mark and the entire operation are first class!

Made a reservation maybe three weeks in advanced and just my luck… rain. Worrying my boyfriend’s skydiving surprise would be ruined, I called 72÷48÷24 hours prior and every time, Meredith, told me to call back at a certain time for an update on the weather. Finally called the day of and she told me to get there ASAP! To our surprise, the rain stopped and the clouds cleared up and we were able to jump! The check in was fairly easy. watch 2 videos and sign your life away. 20 mins after check in we met our instructors and geared up. I had Paul as an instructor and he was awesome! Informed me of everything that was going on during the process and answered all the questions I had. He even let me direct our parachute! I would definitely come back using their promotional second timer jump price.
This doesn’t affect the company but if you plan on sky diving, do not go after rainfall. Every person who jumped that same day came down red and chapped as hell! Even the instructors were cold!
*tip* be sure to tell them you’re a student so they can give you a discount on the footage!

I enjoyed the place and experience but I didn’t like that one of the staff members putting the harness on me was very touchy, I forgot his name but he took forever «adjusting» the harness and making sure it was on my hip (I should have said something) he literally kept putting his hands on my hips non stop… there was another male staff member who set the harness for my other two female cousins without touching while this one guy took a million years setting me up, after he finally finished I ignored the situation because I was beginning to feel the excitement building up and I wasn’t going to let that ruin my experience
Overall, It was an AWSOME experience and I’d do it again

Made reservations at 10am on Valentine’s Day for me and my girlfriend to jump. We got a call the day before saying that the weather might not be good enough to jump and got asked to come earlier. We got there just after 8 and missed the first jump– luckily too cause the wind was crazy.
Fast forward to the next day (this morning) we got on the first jump at 9am and man it was amazing. The view was spectacular, my instructor Brendon was super great, and I lived! It takes some time to get the paperwork signed and to pay so I would suggest getting there a little earlier so you can jump as soon as possible.
Go big or go home– the 13k ft drop was sick but wouldn’t mind doing the 18k ft drop another time.

All my husband wanted for his birthday was to go skydiving, so I immediately searched online for a place that would have a great view for him to see while jumping out of a plane.
We decided on skydive Santa Barbara because he would have a great view of the ocean and the reviews on Unilocal were excellent. I booked his skydive online through their website, which was quick and convenient. I received a confirmation email regarding his time and date of his jump.
We arrived at the location and my husband went through all of the proper safety videos and paperwork prior to being geared up to jump.
In his words «this was the most freeing feeling ever!» All of the instructors were super friendly and energetic. They made the experience memorable and even more exciting than it already was. My husband recommends ordering the pictures (he loved reliving the jump afterwards) and jumping 13,000 feet. There is an option to jump 8,000, but we were told the free fall would be cut in half, so it’s worth it to pay extra.

Holy F what a euphoria. Freaked out because you have to sign a death liability waive form lol so if you die. It’s not their fault.
The wait felt long. The fly up was nerve racking. I was the last to jump. And it was insane!
I screamed the whole way down because I felt like I couldn’t breathe. Your body turns and you see your airplane fly away.
But the view when your parachute opens is so beautiful. Wear a long sleeve! I would do this again!
They gave a discount coupon for your next jump after ur dive. But I bought photos so maybe that’s why

I went tandem skydiving twice with Skydive Santa Barbara and no issues with them. I just had to skydive later in the day because of weather conditions. My second time, weather conditions weren’t that great again, so we were told we were jumping in Lompoc.
My first time skydiving, I purchased a video and photos, so it was a bit pricey. The second time around, I jumped for my friend’s birthday and it was a more calm and more relaxing experience since I didn’t have a camera in my face that I had to react to.
Something to experience at least once in your lifetime!

I always wanted to skydive but never had the guts to do it until now. My buddies and I drove out to Santa Barbara for a little R&R when we found this place. We all said «I’ll do it if you do it» and away we went. We all still had butterfly’s when we arrived but it was on.
We all felt very comfortable and safe even before we got in the air. We watched the videos and then signed our life away. It was really neat watching the daily operations in the hangar, folding parachutes, interacting with the instructors, etc.
I got matched up with Brenden and immediately felt a calm come over me which is really weird. I also had Robin shoot video from an outside perspective while I was jumping. Both of them made me feel like it was just another Sunday stroll in the park.
Everything was spot on from start to finish. I have no complaints. We will definitely be returning here again and I will ask for the same instructor. «Don’t hesitate, just do it» and you will see what I’m talking about.

You harness up with one of the most down to earth guys ever (I believe he’s the owner of the business).
*Random fact, their gear is some of the best and gets put out to pasture essentially to other places after a few years, so you’re golden!
You meet your instructor and hopefully he/​she is as cool as my plane was.
Jeremy was my thunder buddy, and he was awesome.
I’m sure if I actually were afraid, he’d have my back.
*I’ve been facing fears and questioning what fear is, ish is deep. I didn’t feel much fear if at all.
The whole process was exhilarating, magical, moving, incredible, and all the other words that express an amazing experience.
Would I do it again?
Absolutely.

Awesome experience at this location! Did a tandem jump with Paul at 18,000ft! Totally recommend the 18k jump! He was such a cool guy and was very instructive. I told him I was an adrenaline junkie and he threw in all the turns and drops he could! Would definitely recommend him! Awesome footage. I requested the raw footage and they had no problem including it on a nice 4GB USB stick.
All the staff was very helpful and smiling. I did my jump in a full chicken wing suit and they were all cool with it! Bucket list experience for sure. Had another seasoned group of solo jumpers with me on the ride up and they made the experience even better. You’ve got to experience the culture of sky diving from inside the plane! It’s more extreme than Mountain Dew and Bald Eagles.
Recommend an early jump time and dress warm for any 18k jump during the winter months. It can get –degrees up there.
Overall great experience! Can’t wait to jump again. Banana suit next time?

Been here twice. Both times I had a great time! first time I had the videographer jump with me to film everything, I would highly recommend that option over the go pro. The second time i did not bother filming because i had already done it. The second time the guy let me help control the parachute which was very cool! I will say though that the guy i jumped with the second time was somewhat innapropriate, i went with a large group of guys and girls and he made some slightly sexual remarks to myself and my friends which i did not appreciate considering i was going to have my body strapped to the guy. Overall they are very safe and professional but this one guy i would probably avoid if youre a female.
I should also add that this is in Lompoc, not santa barbara. From UCSB it took me about an hour to get there. It is easy to find if you have a gps or something. make sure to go on a clear day and you get discounts if you are a student, military, or in groups. I did the 13k jump both times, it is worth the extra $ 20.

Sky diving by far was one of my most memorable and breathtaking experiences.
The makeup, dresses and high heels are all a façade when really I’m just an adrenaline junkie who loves to get there hands dirty. One Life no regrets.
So when my girlfriend was looking for someone to jump with of course I was the first to say Yes. I was the only one to say Yes.
Highly recommended we made the online reservation. There were 3 packages to choose from:
* 10,500 ft. for $ 199.00 with video $ 258.00 or wrist webcam and video $ 298.00
* 13,000 ft. for $ 218.00 with video $ 287.00 or wrist webcam and video $ 318.00
* 18,000 ft. for $ 319.00 with video $ 388.00 or wrist webcam and video $ 418.00
My friend chose the 10,500 ft. jump while I chose the 18,000ft. Go big or go home!
We checked in the front desk. They have you do all the paperwork and then take you to an area where you watch a Brief skydiving video. Afterwards, you are taken to the changing area so you can put on your sky diving suit. They have different colored suits such as purple and yellow. You choose your color and then the employees help you get dressed and make sure everything is properly tightened and ready to go.
I was introduced to my instructor and photographer. My instructor went through the process and told me what to expect when we get in the air.
We walked to our plane and I was so excited I could barely contain myself. VRRRRRRMMMMM. The sound of the plane engine turned on and Up up we went. It felt so unreal to be doing this.
It took a few minutes to get to 10,500 ft. The first set of sky divers made the jump. The second group followed at 13,000 ft. Things got real for us jumping at the 18,000 ft. Due to the elevation they required us to put on oxygen mask. Only three of us left on the plane, I had chosen to be the last jumper. Save the best for last.
I took my Instructors hands and got myself in the jumping position. There’s no turning back now.
READY. SET. GO! A second ago I was on the plane and now I’m like Peter Pan flying in the air. Trying to take it all in and at the same time trying to look good for the photographer who is next to us filming and taking photos. FAIL.
The view from here is unbelievable. Words can’t describe how awesome it is! I only wish it could have lasted longer. It was a minute and a half of free fall but every second was just so great.
I’m so glad I choose to go Sky diving here. It’s the Highest tandem jump in America. They kept me alive. YAY! There streak for safety continues! I would highly recommend this place to everyone!
