History

Established in 2008.

We started Events United because we have a passion for music and live events. Being performing musicians ourselves, we’ve found there to be a lack of knowledge and too much carelessness in the production of events, because of this we have dedicated countless hours to educate ourselves in audio, lighting, video, staging, power, event management, music, and more. We are continually encouraging each other to learn more and effectively apply this new knowledge to our work.

Meet the Business Owner

Business Owner

Tim grew up as a performing musician. He received his Bachelor of Science in Music Education from Plymouth State University in 2006. While at college he became heavily involved audio engineering and event production and by the time he was 21, he had already worked with acts such as the Black Eyed Peas, The Dropkick Murphy’s, Dispatch, Guster, and other national acts.

During Tim’s college years and frequent performances, he found that there was much carelessness in live audio production. Being a performing musician didn’t mean much if the audience couldn’t accurately hear what was being played. There also tended to be a lack of respect between engineers and musicians. It was at the end of Tim’s college experience when he decided that there needs to be a stronger focus on excellence and relationships in the production world. A few years later, Tim founded Messi Productions, which had a strong focus on relationships and excellence, and soon later was rebranded under Events United.
