History
Established in 2009.
Dr. Joseph Catalano grew up in St. Louis, Missouri, where he graduated from De Smet Jesuit High School in 1983. He attended Saint Louis University, graduating in 1988 with Bachelor’s degrees in chemistry and biology. Dr. Catalano then attended graduate school at the University of Missouri Kansas City, graduating in 1992. He completed specialty training and 4-year residency hospital-based program in 1996 at St. John’s Mercy Medical Center in St. Louis, Missouri. His 4-year medical/surgical residency included extensive training in oral surgery, maxillofacial trauma and reconstruction, anesthesia, pathology (tumors and abnormalities of the jaw and face), and temporomandibular joint disorders. He has been in private practice in the greater Denver area since he moved to Colorado in 1996.

Dr. Catalano is an active member of the American Dental Association (ADA), American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (AAOMS), Association of American Physicians and Surgeons (AAPS), and the Colorado Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (CSOMS). Previous affiliations include Membership Chairman of CSOMS and American Trauma Society with ATLS certification.
