Fantastic food, however they are always understaffed and closed on days when they are supposed to be open, very inconsistent.

As you all know, our south denver metro area could use a good diner. We thought this could be it and have tried several times. Food is decent but service is way too slow to justify. An 1 ½ is way too long of an investment in time for breakfast. Sorry. If you have a lot of time, then maybe.

A place I continue to visit due to its amazing tasting breakfast, always flavorful. Can’t beat the breakfast burrito and biscuits and gravy.

New to the area and glad to have found a breakfast spot this good! Skip the chains that show up first on your Google search, and go where the fruit is fresh, a poached egg is actually poached, and the hash browns taste homemade. The servers seem friendly and attentive. Prices are reasonable. Looking forward to coming here for dinner.

This place was terrible today. We went on a Sunday just two of us and we were seated pretty much right away. We had to flag down someone to take our drink order and then he took our order. We waited and waited and waited almost an entire hour for our food even though the restaurant was practically empty when we got our food finally. I will never dine at this place again!

After reading the reviews we were hesitant to try breakfast here, but we didn’t experience the problems other reviewers had with bad service. They seem to be better staffed now, we came on a Sunday early afternoon so probably avoided the crowd. My husband really liked his huevos rancheros, probably some of the best we’ve had locally. They even came with grilled banana, a nice touch. I like that they offer small plates for breakfast and lunch. My suggestion would be to bring a coffee pot to each table so as to not have to flag down the server for more coffee. Overall a nice neighborhood gem.

Just left after waiting for close to an hour. The food looked decent and was reasonably priced however we did not feel like waiting over an hour for a hamburger and an egg dish in a restaurant that is less than half full. The wait staff were apologetic but the kitchen needs to work on getting orders out.

Great food, when you get it. Good prices, clean, friendly. I like this place a lot after just one visit. But they could use more staff. Things seem to run slow in general. But I’ll be back!

This place deserves a nod towards a four star rating. My experience is awesome so far. We were welcomed warmly and escorted to our seat. Our waiter arrived shortly. He gave us a few minutes to order but came back to deliver our two glasses of water. I had the Small Portion Bacon Cheese Burger. With a side of really good salty, crunchy fries. It wasn’t lilliputian in size believe me and it was good. Cooked to order-medium. Clean, fast, reasonably priced. Why not stop over if you’re looking to just eat and not wait for half hour for a table for brunch on a weekend.

Foods good and somewhat reasonable prices for the dishes they serve. I love the biscuits and gravy. I wished they actually had real half and half made from cows. That land o lakes stuff coagulats and gives me seriously bad gas and hirts my stomach. Please be like all the other breakfast diners and supply your customers with real table cream. I mean if you dont use half and half it really makes me wonder what you make your gravy from…

We came here on Friday night for dinner and were very impressed. Service was awesome and the food was very good. My wife had the salmon burger and really enjoyed it. I had a salad which I devoured and my kids had breakfast for dinner. The bacon was perfectly cooked. Crispy but not burnt. All and all, a great modestly-priced dinner at a restaurant that isn’t some chain. Highly recommended!

I want to preface this review with I am not basing it on just one visit. I have tried this place 3 times and now it’s 3 strikes, they’re out. I prefer locally-owned places which is why I tried this place the first time. We waited a half an hour for table which is totally fine however half the tables were empty. they had plenty of staff, at least wait staff. the first time my food came cold, 15 minutes after the rest of my group had their food. And there was only four of us. second time same story. Tried it again almost a year later, there was only two of us and it was terrible. Our server walked up to us, didn’t smile didn’t say hello just stared at us. You know, the blank look of ‘I hate your guts’ after waiting 30 minutes for a seat, we waited 15 minutes to be greeted by Mr happy, then he took our order, it took almost 30 for our food. and of course it came cold. he gave us one round of drinks, which was water and coffee and our beverages stayed empty until after our food was almost gone. We had to ask for silverware after our food arrived and our server rolled his eyes. I’m going to be clear, I would rather go to McDonalds then eat here again. & I hate fast food. Its 90 minutes I will never get back in my life.

Quite possibly the worst restaurant I’ve ever been to. I don’t take that title lightly, either. The place appears to be horribly understaffed(a particular day I was there, there were two servers, both of whom looked to be about sixteen, serving the whole restaurant with no manager visible throughout my visit), which starts things off on the wrong foot, and it seems to keep going from there. Sorry, did you spill something on the table? You’ll have to go to the restroom to get paper towels and clean it up yourself; your server is nowhere to be found. Food didn’t come out right? Too bad; you either eat what you get or don’t eat. No manager has ever made a table visit to try to fix things when I’ve visited. And there has always been a problem with my food. I tend to be very forgiving when it comes to poor service in a restaurant… it is unlikely in any of these cases that it was the server’s fault. This is really, terribly poor management. Not appreciating your customers or your staff. If you want to see what the textbook definition is, check out Silver Creek. :/

Have frequented this diner several times in the interest of supporting local businesses. Each time the food is good but the service is abysmal. They continue to have turnover in their staff so everyone is always learning their system, i.e. if they have one. Food is good if you are patient and willing to wait.

Great food, excellent service, nice variety on menu! We’ve been going here for over a year and always consistent I like they have breakfast all day as well as lunch or dinner choices. I love their burger with fries for a splurge on my healthy diet. They open quite early & always have a good crowd!

Steak melts in your mouth along with eggs… Worth every bite! Pancakes are fluffy & buttery. Just yum yum! Had Mimosa today to add to usual and it was refreshing!

As with everyone else, the service here is pretty slow. My food was pretty good and the waitress was attentive. But the kitchen needs to step up their game.

I dont know where to start with this place. We always pass by since we live in the area and from the outside it looks like a great little diner. It couldnt be further from that. We came in on a saturday morning. The place at the time wasnt very busy and it was clean. I ordered a omelet and my 2 kids split a waffle. The place began to fill up and we waited almost 30 minutes for eggs and a waffle. The staff didnt know what to do because the kitchen was so slow so they just kept bringing coffee by every 2 minutes. The couple next to is got up and left. No manager on site. Our food finally arrived and dissapointment set in. The portions were small and came with a big price tag. Our breakfast was 20 dollars for one adult and my children spliting a kids plate. The food was awful! My omlet included store bought deli turkey, microwaved bacon, raw onions, and 4 tiny slivers of avocado. My son and daughter didnt touch their waffle saying it was not good at all. Their waffle which was 6 bucks was the size of a frozen eggo. The hasbrowns were also just terrible. I wanted to like this place so bad. The wait time and food quality is just terrible. Not kid friendly at all. Dont waste your time at this place. You can find better food and service at the country buffet up the street.

This was some darn good breakfast food with a great diner feel. They could have been 5 stars if not for 2 things: slow service(even at 10am on a weekday) and I don’t like how they«toast» their bread on the griddle so one side is über-crunchy and the other still soft(stupid, I know). I had the small plate version of their hasbrown meal. The normal portion consists of hashbrowns, peppers, onions, cheddar, bacon or sausage(chopped up into the mix) and 2 eggs. Holy hannah, I had half that in my small plate portion and it was incredibly filling! And delicious! Hashbrowns were perfectly executed; cooked to the point where there’s some super crispy pieces that keep you digging for the next perfect bite. I left off the onions and peppers but it was still full of great flavor with a nice runny egg and cheddar cheese. My brother ordered their breakfast croissant and it looked delicious– egg perfectly cooked, lots of cheese, well cooked bacon; I’m kind of mad he didn’t offer me a bite, but he hates to share his food, ha! Service was really slow. We were two of maybe 10 people in the whole place. And for some reason it just took a little longer than ideal, I can’t imagine what it’s like when it’s busy. They do have a nice patio which I appreciated. I will likely be back, especially since they serve breakfast for dinner too, but I will try to avoid the crowds and the possibility to further annoy myself with any slower service. A great little find sure to please everyone’s palate!

I have been to this place 4 times over the last 2 ½ years for brunch. All I can remember about this place is that it is absolutely horrible service. It’s been more of a convenience to go, the food isn’t bad, but this last time WAS the last time. Waited for an HOUR+ for food. Seems like there is no management and the staff isn’t very attentive. If my tables as a wait staff were waiting as long as we had been waiting I would’ve apologized several times, and then just comped the meal after such a long wait. NONE of that happened. Not even a discount for the awful service. I’m a bit mystified by the high stars on this place. In fact I’m still surprised it’s even open… still. No food is worth an hour wait. Get it together guys! You lost me and several of my friends after that awful service.
