It is a Home Depot! You get what you expect… except for lawn/​patio furniture…
This location seemed to have the standard stock of pretty much everything you need to, «do it yourself». So, I’ll comment on what we came here for.
The greeter, went out of his way to engage us and attempt to help us with grills and patio furniture. There were a ton of grills at great prices (and assembled!). Patio furniture, not so much. Not a whole lot of stock.
I’d come back for tools and other supplies but probably wouldn’t recommend for patio furniture.

I mean it is Home Depot, so the merchandise is what you would expect. My issue with this one is two fold: 1) they are doing massive construction in the parking lot and it is a shit show to get in and out and 2) they never have the items their website says are in stock. Countless times we go in and the web site will say something has 99 in stock and it is nowhere to be found. Serious issue with actually having stuff out. Sometimes they actually find it, more often than not they just tell you try another store. Finally we get it, we just go to the Arapahoe one, they have what they say they do!

I wrote my last review for them 5 years ago, apparently. It’s way overdue for an update.
Their parking lot is bad enough as it was, but now they’ve completely ripped up half of it so it’s impossible to get in and out. I think they might be building something in the parking lot, like we need that.
Also the last several times we’ve come here we look up what we need online — which tells you exactly what aisle/​row it’s on — we get to the store and it’s nowhere in sight. The first time was for a mower. We flagged someone down and they found it up on the very top shelf so they did the whole thing where they block off the aisle and bring out the heavy equipment to get it. This took about an hour.
The next time we were looking for some pavers in the garden section. The spot was completely empty but online it said they had 100 of them. We flagged someone down and they looked up on the shelves again and wandered the whole are and finally told us they must be sold out. Even tho the app — again — said they had a ton of them.
Really annoying, and even tho they’re our closest I have a feeling we won’t be back.

I purchased an evaporative cooler online and had it shipped to this store. The box was damaged and the area that the item is stored is up front. It is not secure. When I decided to not take this item and wanted a refund, the associate could not figure out how to give me a refund. After an hour of trying to be patient waiting for the associate to provide a refund, I took the item home. Now I have a $ 415. Huge fan that does not do as it I supposed to do according to the manual.
I will NEVER EVER shop online and do a ship to store again. Also, I will NEVER EVER shop at Home Depot again.

I have called this location Today and this past Saturday; I spoke with two different managers that said they would get back to me. I was requesting to speak with one manager that gave me his card the day I took my item. I told him that It would be difficult to return this evaporative cooler since I broke a bone in my foot in the winter. This manager said he would pick it up for me. So far, I have not received a call back.
Tomorrow I will call again. If nothing happens, I will leave the managers name here.

I was in here on a Wednesday night and wanted to look at the flooring choices that they offered in order to figure out a cost for putting down flooring throughout my new town home. After looking at and touching the samples on display I was able to find a take home sample at no cost in order to take it with me and I was standing there taking pictures of the larger display of how the product looks installed which is what the in store sample displays reflect. Daniel noticed me taking pictures and offered me the option of samples.
They were not busy and it was nice that I was able to get some personal attention to talk about the different options and I was informed about the current $ 0.89 a square foot installation charge for the flooring which was ending the next week. Daniel was instrumental in informing me about the ability to order the flooring and get it in time and at the store prior to when I needed it and then the ability to get better financing terms through Home Depots project loans which offer a substantially lower APR 6 months free financing with basically 8% for the duration of the project loan. That project loan was extremely helpful to learn about in order to take advantage of financing my month long project so as to be able to manage my cash flow in repaying it at a lower interest rate.
I mentioned to Daniel that I was going to need help with a paint color choice and did they have a good colorist in paint department. He mentioned to me that Sarah in the paint department was really passionate about her position mixing paint colors for customers and it sounds as if she is the one that I need to return with some samples to get a good color choice for my living room. So very nice to know that even when nothing much is going on near closing time that you can still be helped by someone working in the store and they seemed interested in doing a good job.

Home Depot installed some windows in my home that were done so poorly they had to be completely redone. Water leaked inside and damaged my drywall. The screws holding the window in place were not even into wood. Two went into air behind the siding, one went through the window trim and came out in front of the siding. Home Depot will not stand behind their installation or pay for my repairs. They say I should have let them do the reinstall, not a chance! Stay away from Home Depot!

AVOID ALL SPECIAL ORDERS. Ordered a $ 4,000 custom front door and had multiple factory and mishandled ordering (HD order entry) issues. Had to pay installer to come back and spend 6 man hours doing repairs to get it fixed but cosmetic issues remain. Vendor gave very small refund that barely covered the additional labor but certainly didn’t cover cosmetic issues remaining or many hours of time. HD did nothing at all. Their comical policy is that a door order is considered complete when the local delivery guy drops off. Never mind that many issues can’t be detected until the crating comes off and the door is actually installed. I’d like to see a delivery guy wait for 3 – 5 hours for that all to occur before a customer deems it acceptable. I will take my business to Lowes and never purchase anything large from HD again (or small if I can help it). They hide behind ridiculous corporate policies and leave the customers holding the bag.

I’ve been to this Home Depot on multiple occasions for different things. The people are super nice and I’ve never had a problem with them. They’re always helpful because I know nothing about anything when it comes to DIY projects. They always give me ideas and show me products that will help that I didn’t even know existed!
The only reason they are getting 4 stars is because I went in today to get my chalkboard that I bought there cut down a little and their saw was broken and wasn’t going to be fixed for about another week. Bummer!

The customer service at the pro counter sucks, the guy wearing glasses think his shit don’t stink, I do spend a lot of money at this location but the little bitch was on his cell phone texting and ignoring me while waiting to get help.
Starting Monday I will not go there anymore since is not the first time this asshole does this.

DO NOT buy appliances here!!! They use Bailey’s Moving and Storage to deliver and install, and they damaged two dishwashers and one washing machine that I purchased. If you refuse delivery, it takes more than two weeks to get a replacement, leaving you without the use of the appliance. This is very likely due to the fact that the dishwasher I bought was last year’s model and discontinued, which they did not tell me when I bought it. When I brought this to the attention of store management, they had no idea there was a problem with the delivery but could only make me wait two weeks, but promised compensation for the loss of use of my appliances. After the third dishwasher was damaged and my cabinets scratched, I asked for a refund, which they provided. However, both they and their corporate refused to provide the compensation they promised. BAD BUSINESS! $ 5000 worth of appliances and 6 weeks of waiting with only ²⁄₃ of what I paid for. Go to Appliance Factory Outlet. They had it in stock and they use their own people to deliver and install.

The worst customer service ever. He lied to us about exchanging paint colors. We wanted to return white paint and they didn’t allow it. They only have 1 manager on duty for help.

Original Post on 4÷1÷15: I’ve used these guys for several projects in which I hired their contractors. The first one was to pull up a carpet in a fireplace room that I had then put down stone floors. As soon as problems start to arise, Home Depot wanted to walk away and leave me with a carpet pulled up and no contractor, but they finally relented when the contractor came up with a reasonable fix then more money out of my pocket. That was back in 2011.
I then used them to put in some doors in which that worked out very well, so I would give them 4 stars on that job, which was in the winter of 2013.
Then I had them do a gutter replacement job in March of 2014 in which that disaster is still an ongoing trilogy. I have a tar and rock roof instead of a traditional shingle roof. The contracts came ripping and tearing the old gutters off, which meant pulling off the tar that sealed it between the gutters and galvanized steel trim. The result was leaking between the gutters and the house that splattered all over the front patio leaving ice in the winters and eventual water damage from the Spring/​Summer rains. The contractor came out and blamed the roof and I had a roof inspector come out from the insurance company and he said the roof was fine and showed me their shottie work. I called Home Depot and was told this past month that someone would come out and fix it. To this guy’s credit he got most of the leaks sealed, except for the one in front of the door. I called again and Home Depot said someone would come out and fix it again, but that has never happened. This run around has been going on since April of 2014 to today. Basically, the contractor has lost money on this deal, so he doesn’t want to deal with it and Home Depot just keeps running interference for him. I have moved on to get the problem fixed on my own as these guys have no interest in getting it done.
I had them do a bathroom remodel (March 2014) and that worked out pretty well, but the contractor has had to come out three times to reseal it, but to their credit at least they take my phone calls and fix the problems.
I give them two stars only because if you go there to buy something for your home then they are pretty helpful. However, I give them 0 stars on most of their home improvement jobs and I wouldn’t ever use them again on either of my homes. The next time I will look for someone else to do these jobs and I recommend that you go there to buy normal stuff, but avoid their home improvement contractors or get a headache. «
Update: Ok, I find it interesting after I posted on April 1, 2015 that all of a sudden Home Depot found time for me. It was about the gutters and a guy came out on 4÷28÷15 to do nothing and says the roof is leaking. Well, the roof didn’t start this problem until Home Depot’s contractors starting walking all over it. Basically, I am stuck with fixing this roof myself as it becomes a blame game, but it didn’t leak before these guys came stomping around. I talked to Ace Hardware and got some roofing tar patch and used it today on where I found the damage, so I am hoping this stops the leak in front of my door. If not, I will have to employ a roofer to fix their damage on my tar and rock roof. My original review holds. They get a two stars only because when you go in to buy something they are decent to deal (4 Stars) with, but I give their contractors a 0 for an overall 2 for the store (4+0=4÷2=2). I would still look elsewhere for a contractor for your next project if I were you.

The flooring sales person was knowledgeable.
The customer service staff were friendly.
But.
When I went to pick up the order, they just pulled 2 pallets of material and put it outside.
Over 1,100 pounds of martial!
I had told them what kind of car I had.
They never offered to help load or offer any info.
I called a friend to bring her car over to help.
Yikes!

We are updating our kitchen and have been spending money at this location on needed materials. Sorry to say this will be the last time we spend our money at this store. We understand people don’t like their jobs and are busy or tired, but today was an exception. We scheduled an appointment to meet with someone (name known but not disclosed) in the kitchen/​counter department JUST to pay for our order already processed. At 1:00 today, employees at the customer service counter told us that the associate (who was the ONLY one working that area apparently) was on lunch and she would not come out to help even though we had scheduled an appointment. Waited 45 mins and was told by this woman, «if I knew it would be this easy then I would have come out sooner». The associate who set up the appointment was great and was actually helping us out by making an appointment for us. She was doing her job and treated us kindly. We will be filing a complaint with the store regarding this other employee. The other associates are good, but unfortunately this one lost our respect and desire to return. Her poor customer service skills and desire to do her job is losing this store money.
Story continues! Contractors broke our disposal, took our sink without permission and lost mounting pieces to our new faucet. Project manager was not helpful when told about our issues and referred us to speak to Home Depot about them. They never called us when they were informed about the problems. We paid for install which was not even done! We had to purchase a new disposal and my husband installed it. So over this store and their lack of service or care for their customers.

We love Home Depot, and as recent home purchasers spend a lot of time planning and buying supplies for our home improvement attempts. This Home Depot is an alright location: the parking lot always seems busy (partly with a lot of people cutting over to Bed Bath and Beyond) and self-​checkout typically has a line.
Our one issue at this location was when we purchased pieces of wood and additional cuts for the wood. If you have more than 2 cuts, they cost 50 cents each. We had about seventeen cuts and the cashier rang us up for 17 extra 2×4 pieces! I noticed this when we got to the car (I was checking the receipt because it seemed a little high). We went back in and waited for our cashier to explain the overcharge and she directed us to customer service — who fixed the problem and refunded the overcharges.
Otherwise, this Home Depot is fine. We prefer the one on Arapahoe road, I find it less crowded and the parking lot less hectic.

This location has something special about it that makes it better then the average home improvement store. Every time I come here I get offered help from multiple employees. Checkout is always a breeze and they always seem to be fully stocked on whatever I came to purchase.
Every time I end up in a different store I think how much better this location is then were I am.
When it comes to a Home Depot /​Lowes comparison there is nothing to compare. Home depot wins in every category.

Stopped by to browse on a Friday afternoon. I’ve never really been a fan of the HD but they seem to be building my trust more and more. For years I could never find what I needed or get what I wanted from them.
I have used this location several times because it’s convenient to by office.
They have ample parking but again, you can walk through the entire store and no one in an orange vest will usually make eye contact with you. Luckily I am normally self sufficient and don’t need help.

I had a great experience, I just purchased my first condo on Friday and went into this visit blind. I knew what I needed to accomplish, but no idea how to get there. A few people I’d like to recognize:
Patrick in Paint — Very helpful. He helped guide me through the steps in picking a color, his recommendation, what’s popular right now and a special that Baer is having (which they never have) so we could get a better deal. He explained the Home Depot credit card to me and got me a line of credit at Home Depot to make my initial purchase yesterday.
Sheri in Appliances — Sheri was incredibly helpful showing me a range and a dishwasher. Even though I wasn’t purchasing yesterday, and she knew that, she was knowledgeable and helped get me the answers I needed for when I purchase!
Alisa in wood works — Although short staffed and she was helping another couple. We went to another isle as it was taking a long time. After she finished with that customer, she came to find up and help us! Kudos!
All introductions to department specialists and easy of finding the items I needed could not have happen without my long time & good friend, Steve Anderson.
Thanks again Home Depot in Lone Tree for making this new chapter in my life so much easier from the start! I will be back and will tell my friends about my experience yesterday!

I always feel weird reviewing a giant, corporate establishment like this. I come here often to get things like light bulbs, air filters, batteries, paint, and houseplants that I keep killing.
Prices are fine.
Quality is fine.
Service? Well, usually it’s fine. Except for Paul in the paint department. I have never met someone that seems so thoroughly unhappy with his life than Paul. If you go up to the paint counter, he’ll ignore you for a good 5 – 10 minutes until he’s «ready» to acknowledge you. Then it’s another 30 to get your paint. I imagine this is the department that most home-​repair noobies visit first so you should staff someone there that is friendly. «Ooo. Great color choice! What room are you painting?» Paul just ignores you and then grunts and scowls when he finally does acknowledge you. He’s the worst.

I’ve never had a spectacularly bad or spectacularly good experience here. This is our go-​to for home improvement based purely on its close proximity to home. We’ve accomplished many projects, made many returns and have been more or less satisfied.
It is frustrating that I can never find a person to help when I need them, yet there will be five people asking me «how I’m doing» on days I don’t need them; go figure. They do make the return process very easy and it’s always quick. I’ve never had to wait long to check out. And I can usually find what I need when I need it.
All in all it’s decent, and proximity alone will keep me coming back.
