I needed to book shuttle service for 7 of us from our houses to the Long Beach Carnival Cruise Port.
Before choosing a shuttle company, I looked at the reviews. I saw that the largest two companies, Primetime and Super Shuttle had the worst reviews and that scared me. So I perused the ratings of the smaller companies and called a few of them.
I ultimately chose A1 Express Shuttle Service because they were the cheapest and also said they could provide us a car seat for our infant for no additional charge. No other company had baby car seats avail so we went with this company, albeit hesitantly.
We were hesitant about booking with a small family owned company like this because they didn’t have that many reviews despite being in business for several years.
We are back from a wonderful cruise and I am very happy we chose this company to drive us there and pick us up. Everything went perfectly smooth. The driver Eric was courteous, friendly, professional and picked us up early both ways for our roundtrip.
I will use A1 Express Shuttle Service every time I need shuttle service in the city.

I work in the ground transportation industry for over 17 years so finding a shuttle service to transport my girlfriend, 6 of my friends and myself from LAX to Carnival Cruise Terminal in Long Beach was a challenge knowing what expectations I have.
This team of professionals exceeded my expectation!
From the first call into the office explaining who I was and what I wanted to accomplish I was greeted with a warm, caring and excited Elaine. She was excited not only to earn our business, but excited for the adventure we were embarking on! She e-​mailed me a confirmation receipt and instructions on how to get our shuttle when we arrived in LAX. The day of our flight she had texted us our drivers name (Roger!) and number. From there I sent Roger a picture of all of us so he would know who to look for during the hecticness of LAX. When we arrived I called Roger and informed him we were ready and waiting for him. He gave me the number of his van (which was in bold letters top right corner of the windshield easy for us to spot) He greeted us with such enthusiasm welcoming us not to LA but to «our vacation» That was the start of something wonderful that put all our guest as ease knowing we were truly on vacation. While driving he interacted with us playing the PERFECT playlist of music getting us pumped up for our cruise. We asked him to stop at a grocery store which he did (With extreme pleasure) on our way to the terminal. Let me just end this by saying «Elaine, you have an AMAZING employee with Roger and if he were in my neck of the woods, I would be honored to hire him. If you are lucky enough to get him as your driver, get ready for some fun and a perfect way to start your vacation!
On our return trip (from the cruise ship to LAX) Elaine greeted us at the cruise terminal. She loaded our bags up and dropped us off downtown Long Beach so we could enjoy the day there roaming around. She made sure to hold our luggage for us and had arranged to retrieve us at 6PM for our 8:45PM flight. Around 5PM I had texted her to get us at Tequila Jacks. She informed me that Erick would be picking us up. We were delighted to see him. He whisked us off the LAX with ease.
We got wonderful service with this company and they have found a life long client with us! Thank you A1 Express Shuttle Service!

We used this wonderful shuttle service roundtrip from LAX Marriott to San Pedro Cruise Port. As we were planning our trip, we would call and Elaine always picked up the phone to answer all our questions. Eric picked us up promptly at 10 am and drove us to the cruise port. He was very friendly and professional. During our cruise, we were informed that we would be disembarking from a different pier. We contacted Elaine and it was taken care of with ease. Elaine was waiting for us as we left the ship, gathered our luggage, and drove us back to the Marriott. During the ride, she provided a running commentary of the Los Angeles area, an extra treat for someone from the east coast. Please remember that a cruise is perfect if you pick the right shuttle service to take you back and forth to the boat! A1 Express Shuttle Service made it perfect!

Very pleased with the service we received by Eric (our driver) on our trip from LAX to Long Beach cruise port and then again upon our return back to LAX.
Eric is very nice and patient. Due to the craziness of getting off of the ship and Carnival’s lack of organization, Eric had to wait over an hour for us. He made it very easy to find us too. When people were going crazy at the cruise port because there was luggage and people everywhere and also people piling onto their big buses… we were relieved to get into the private van with A1 Express. It was me, my husband and our daughter. For 3 people, the cost was the same had we taken a huge shuttle bus. While those people were still standing in yet another line to get on their shuttle bus, we were comfortably sitting in a private van on our way.
We had a lot of luggage too and Eric loaded it all in with a great attitude. The van is in great condition with big leather seats. Water bottles provided to drink as well. Anyone who books a shared shuttle is crazy when they can get this service (and for the same price).
