Best Vacuum Repair & Parts

Took my pair of smooth leather mens work shoes in on 09JAN14 for just a plain and simple shine. I wanted them shined for a Funeral that I have to attend over the same weekend.
I let the owner know when I dropped them off that all I wanted was a NEUTRAL Polish clean and shine. Paid on the spot. Was told they would be ready the following day.
I asked and paid for Nothing out of the normal routine service that ANY shoe shop worth their salt should be able to do. By all appearances the place looks like all the makings of a good shoe shop (i.e. shoe machines, accessories etc) Dont let the appearance fool you.
Following day went in to pick them up. And owner placed my shoes which were placed in plastic shopping bag on the counter and untied it to let me inspect them.
Nothing absolutely NOTHING had been done to my shoes. Not a shine, not a cleaning, same light scratches that will come off with even light coat of polish and a buff were still there.
I asked if he could fix my shoes and polish them right and make them right. Cause my shoes had not been touched. They looked EXACTLY how they did when I brought them in.
I asked for a refund he refused and wouldn’t even face me to discuss the problem. He went about scurrying around behind the counter and started to work on a vacuum cleaner all the while I am standing there explaining to him that I was not satisfied with his work. And letting him know that I was aware that he had not did anything to my shoes.
I could have and should have saved my money and just slopped a coat of polish on them purchased from CVS or Walgreens I would have had better results. I wasted $ 9.00 on taking my shoes in to this place. Not only wasted my time but money and received TERRIBLE customer service on top of it.
Only reason this place even receives ONE STAR is cause NO STAR are an option here on Unilocal

Had a Kenmore vacuum that’s been taken in quite a few times. Every time he fixed it, it would quit working. This happened numerous times before he ended up giving me a similar vacuum to replace it. It works great. If all else fails, he still helped me out. I am also a swing dancer and they do a great job with suede covers for shoes!
