Dr. Taymour is very professional. Explains every drop of what he wants you to know. Makes you feel comfortable and has the time to listen.
Alana, is such a great nurse. I felt very comfortable with her, she’s not like other nurses that are just doing her job. She’s very friendly and very nice! Gave me a couple is laughs.

I have to say the this place exceeded my expectations. I read the reviews and couldn’t agree more that Dr. Jacobs is wonderful. I was greeted promptly, signed in. Virtually no wait so hopefully that’s the «norm». The waiting room was warm and cozy and once I was called in to my room to wait for Doctor the room wasn’t cold at all (thank goodness since you have to wear a paper gown). Dr. Jacobs came in and introduced herself. Chatted casually and quickly became comfortable with my appt. She seemed very thorough and guided me to what I will be expected to do for my next appt. I would def recommend Dr. Jacobs to my family and friends.

My first visit here was amazing. the staff was really nice. Dr. Jacobs was sweet and kind. She really was patient with me and made me feel comfortable. Her staff was friendly and her office was well organized. From now on, I’m considering her as my Obstetricians & Gynecologists.

I really like Dr. Jacobs, she’s personable, honest, and intelligent. I came to her for a second opinion and decided to always go to her for the ‘first’ opinion. Her staff is friendly her office is located in an easily accessible area and is very clean and organized. I was also impressed that she personally calls you with your test results. Really good service.

Dr. Jacobs is one of the best doctors I have ever been to! I called her office to make a first time appt for my yearly pap and her friendly staff accommodated me with a convenient time for the very next day. When I arrived for my appt, her waiting area was full and I half expected her to run late, but her assistant called my name just a few minutes after my scheduled time (yay!). I love a doctor that is on time as my schedule is very busy at the moment!
Dr. Jacobs’ bedside manner is very professional yet very laid back. Her ability to put me at ease was amazing and I felt like I could talk to her about anything and everything! She is a very cool lady! She was conscious of my finances as I am a self pay patient vs using insurance. We discussed all fees ahead of time and she made sure to eliminate anything that she felt like I did not need so I wouldn’t be charged extra. The exam was painless and I felt comfortable during the whole visit.
I am new to California and although I am finally settling in Marina Del Rey, I will drive down to LB from MDR in the future to see Dr. Jacobs. She’s that good!

Dr. Jacobs is amazing! The sweetest doctor I’ve ever been to. She really took her time with me and made me feel comfortable. I have an issue with anything medical related where I tend to get very lightheaded and almost faint. Dr. Jacobs brought me water and sat with me to make sure I was ok. That’s just the tip of the iceberg though. I’m moving out of the area and told Dr. Jacobs that this will probably be my last visit with her. I was waiting for some test results the following day after my appointment and when I called to get them, I found out dr. Jacobs was with her family for the birth of her grandchild. The nurse talked through my results, which were normal and nothing urgent, the best she could and I was satisfied. But then, just a couple hours later, Dr. Jacobs called me herself and explained the results. She absolutely did not have to do this given her grandchild was just born AND I was about to no longer be a patient of hers. That just shows how dedicated and passionate she is about her job. I will miss her! She’s the best!

A very nice doctor who makes a yearly visit as pleasant as possible. I would, and have, recommend her to my friends. Very knowledgeable, patient and helpful.

I have been seeing Dr. Jacobs for 6 years now, and she is very gentle, and thorough. You don’t feel rushed with her and she will explain in detail any concerns or questions you might have. I would highly recommend her.

Dr. Jacobs does not rush you. She genuinely cares and is thorough in her exam. She researches the best options for the individual and I would send my daughter to her!

I LOVE Dr. Jacobs, I’ve been going to her for the last 6 years and have never been happier. However, the front desk ladies/​assistants can be pretty rude and short with you. Kindness and customer service goes a long way ladies. Hopefully that area will improve and it wont start to overshadow how amazing Dr. Jacobs is at her job :)

Dr. Jacobs is extremely intelligent, genuinely caring, friendly, and the warmest doctor I have encountered. She makes one feel completely at ease at the most uncomfortable situations and is professional with her patients. I recently had an appointment with her and haven’t seen her since 2008 since I had moved to another city but low and behold, she remembered me from 5 years ago! Now, I don’t know about others but most doctors do not remember a patient unless they’ve been going to them for years. I was impressed and touched that she still remembered me even though she only saw me a few times. She doesn’t rush the visits like others and takes the time to thoroughly answer all one’s questions and will look out for your best interest. She no longer delivers babies which is a bummer but she’s an awesome OB/​GYN nonetheless! Thank you Dr. Jacobs for making the dreaded and uncomfortable pap smears into a pleasant visit! Please practice for a very long time.

I saw Dr. Jacobs for my first gyn visit and she was amazing! She explained everything beforehand so it was less intimidating and talked me through everything as she did it. Little jokes here and there lightened the mood and put me at ease. She even gave me advice about what pharmacy to go to, as I will be moving overseas soon. Hope I can make it back to see her!

Dr. Jacobs is the real deal in all ways. She cares about her patients, she stays up on research and techniques in her field, and she takes her time with you. I have been her patient for 15 – 20 years. Dr. Jacobs also calls immediately when she has test results.

When I first moved to Long Beach many, many years ago, I asked around who was the best OB/​GYN and over and over again, I was told «Everyone goes to Brenda Jacobs and if she’s not available the others in her group are good, too.» So I went to see her and really appreciated how much she actually cared for me — it wasn’t like I was a piece on a conveyor belt. She’s really good at making me feel comfortable in some pretty uncomfortable situations (needless to say!) She takes her time and really thinks about each individual patient’s needs.
THEN I got pregnant. Her pre-​natal care was the bomb ! She advised me in all my pre-​motherly fears — to good effect — and then she has delivered to me — both of my precious daughters… who are now teenagers !
Dr. Jacobs is not one of these doctors who decides to have a long lunch and cancels your appointment. If she cancels your appointment it’s because one of her other patients REALLY REALLY needs her. I can’t say enough good things about Brenda — she handles her work so professionally and sensitively. If you can get in to see her, consider yourself lucky.

It was really frustrating and heartbreaking that I have not found an ob-​gyn as good as Dr. Jacobs. I just drove an hour and half just to consult with her 2 days ago and she was really surprised that I made the effort of driving up to see her. I tried replacing her upon our move to O’side but still unsuccessful to this day. Dr. Jacobs would call to see how you are reacting to the new meds she prescribed. You would really know that she knows what she is talking about unlike a couple of obstetricians I tried seeing here in O’side. The search goes on and on…
