Spoke to Sean yesterday and he was completely helpful! He came by today to clean the carpets in my house, and I couldn’t be more pleased! The carpets look and smell amazing! He did an outstanding job and I will most definitely use this company again. I highly recommend them!

Had Chem-​dry come out and clean mom’s carpets the other day. They did a fantastic job. The work was quality and detailed and exactly the price I was quoted. The workers were professional and punctual. The carpets were dried in less than three hours, which was a major concern for mom, but it ended up being no problem at all. If you need clean carpets and good service, give these guys a call!

We recently had our carpets cleaned by Chem Dry of Long Beach! First of all, the professional manner in which Shaun the owner conducted himself was very refreshing. He was very informative and knowledgeable. His prices were as he quoted with no surprises! They were right on time for our scheduled appointment and even called on the way to let us know! Brett worked very hard and was very careful as our home has many old antique furnishings. The carpet was dry in Two hours just as Shaun said they would be! They also put down a scotch guard protection for a reasonable price which really helped and I highly recommend this! Five stars for this company! We will most definitely be using them again! Shaun has integrity and he and his team deliver!

This the only –good or bad– Unilocal rating I have written. I would not recommend Chem Dry of Long Beach. The work was shoddy and the company’s owner aggressively asked me to tip his worker-​twice. He agreed to leave ¼ jug of odor removing liquid which he didn’t use (at $ 75 a bottle) and failed to do so. This company is bad news.

Chem Dry of Long Beach has been cleaning my carpets for 15 years and they are awesome! They are always friendly and punctual. They recently cleaned 3 rooms, 3 pieces of furniture, 8 dining room chairs and 3 area rugs for $ 500. They always do careful work and try to leave with everything looking spotless. The Chem Dry process is also easy on carpets and furniture and dries quickly.

After a year my carpets needed to be clean so badly, I searched and hope that I would find a reputable company. I really like Chemdry results the carpet were not at all drenched, and smelled like it does after it rains nice and clean. I would like to thank the Chemdry team for fast efficient professional service.

I’ve been using Joe and his Chem Dry crew for more than 10 years. His team always does a great job on our carpets. We are a family of 5 with 3 active kids and Chem Dry is able to clean and restore our carpets to like-​new status every time. I look forward to using the company’s services for many years to come.

We spoke with Joe and he said to clean our stairs would be a minimum of $ 145 to $ 150, since the rest of the house is hard wood flooring he would throw in cleaning our couch as well. When the worker showed up he said it would be $ 80 for the couch and $ 145 for the stairs. We said no that’s not what we agreed to and was told by Joe. The worker became irate! And was asked to leave!
We were repeated customers and will no longer be using Chem-​Dry for carpet cleaning services as this is the second time they failed to honor price and service!

First off, I got a Groupon for $ 79 for a living room, 2 bedrooms and a hallway.
The guy comes out and does the living room and then tells my wife that he can’t get it any cleaner and it looks like he didn’t do anything at all. My wife calls me at work and puts the guy on the phone and I try to get him to explain but of course, he doesn’t speak very good English and couldn’t explain much. I called the office and told them and they called him. They’re talking as I walk into the house and their speaking in Spanish. He hangs up and asks me what I want to do and I’m like what? He says the carpet is very dirty and he can’t get it any cleaner and says he can stop now and give a refund or do the rest of the house BUT if he does the rest of the house he will charge for the room he couldn’t clean!!! Huh? Well, suffice it to say, I opted for the refund and then called the office and had an argument with the guy on the phone who swore up and down that I paid $ 59 when I paid $ 79. I told him to check the computer instead of running his mouth, there was a 2 minute pause and then he said he’d call me back, that was ¹¹⁄₂₀ and I never got a call back. Well, I called them back on ¹²⁄₂ and he sat there and said that I HAD TO REQUEST A REFUND WITH GROUPON! What a joke this company is.
They can’t clean carpets, it was like a buffer over the carpet, that was it.
Their customer service is absolutely horrific and have absolutely no remorse or care about their customers!

We had a phenomenal experience with CHEM DRY. My best friend is the «Queen of Clean», when she said she swears by CHEM DRY I was sold before they arrived.
Our technician Jeff was prompt, personable, and highly efficient. Our carpet was in dire need of a cleaning and JEFF worked tirelessly to remove some heavy stains.
When the job was complete, It felt like we had newly installed carpet. We will be a repeat customer. He also did a nice job on our easy chair and couch. When I called to order Chem Dry’s special carpet cleaner for touch ups, one of the techs delivered it right to our home a few days after the cleaning. Thank you CHEM DRY, you are the best!

Yeah what ever!!, took 3 days to dry completely! Padding got so wet crumbled after about a year, and yes Chem Dry system was the only carpet company that ever cleaned my carpet, carpet was less than 5yrs old, owner told me the system failed he checked the machine the guy used it wasn’t extracting so came out next day n cleaned agin tech was surprised how much water was in carpet!,! Owner just argued with me!

I was really impressed with the service that I got. Jeff showed up on time and worked REALLY, REALLY hard on my carpet, which was disgusting. It’s been a few years, and with two kids and lots of traffic, well, let’s just say that I’m too embarrassed to post the before and after pictures. I’ll definitely be reaching out to these guys again next year. Thanks Jeff for your hard work!

I’ve been using Chem Dry Long Beach for 15 years. They always do a fantastic job. I prefer Chem Dry over traditional wet steam cleaners because it drys in an hour, there is never any left over soap residue and the spots never reappear. I have also used them to clean my mattress. It’s the ony method of sanitizing approved by mattress manufacturers. Once I had a bunch of melted wax on the carpet and they removed that too. They also have solvent they have used that eliminates pet stains and urine smell. I usually schedule with Joe, the owner but everyone he has sent has done a supurb job and has never had to come back!

We definitely needed the carpets cleaned in our rental apartment, though I am not a fan of the companies that come out and soak your carpet in an effort to clean it. And I hate the soap residue that method inevitibly leaves behind.
After talking to a friend who had recently used Chem Dry, I decided to give them a try. There was a little confusion signing up through the Chem Dry website (I think they are sending your info to some sort of Home Depot call center when you sign up online). I recommend just calling the phone number listed here on Unilocal.Anyway, got it all sorted out with Joe over the phone. He was a little wishy washy on committing to a price… he quoted «about» $ 149 for 3 rooms.
The appointment was originally set up 10 – 10:30 am on a Saturday, but Joe left a message the night before saying it would probably be more like 11 am. No big deal. I got busy picking everything up off the carpets, moved light pieces of furniture into the kitchen, and vacuumed the hell out of my carpets.
Luke, the actual cleaner, showed up a few minutes before 11. Points for being on time! We talked price – $ 149 for 3 rooms – and $ 30 off for mentioning Unilocal.He did offer some sort of protectant, but no hard sell and I politely declined. Done deal. My guess is that if they seem hesitant to commit to a price over the phone, it may be because they’re not sure what they’re going to find when they get to your house. My second bedroom is really small, there were only a couple of very light stains, and the carpet is less than two years old. Pretty straightforward.
Luke was done in less than an hour. The machine is SUPER quiet. The carpet looked and smelled great when he was finished! I paid him with a credit card ($ 119) and he told me the carpet would be dry in a couple of hours at most. They were pretty damp, but not soaking wet. I left my two cats on the couch where it was dry and went out to run errands. When I came back 5 hours later, the carpets were completely dry. They smell good (not anything overpowering – just clean) and they feel great on bare feet.
Sidenote: I was a little freaked out when I initially returned home… there were little polka dot spots a couple of inches in diameter ALL over the carpet. I decided not to panic and vacuumed everything thouroughly. That did the trick… the vacuuming smoothed them away.
I definitely recommend this method and this service. I know there are cheaper companies out there, but if you dislike the «soaking & soaping» method like I do, pay a bit extra!

They came out and charged me $ 119 for a standard sized bedroom. I knew my carpet wouldn’t look 100% new, but I expected it to turn out better than it did. They even came out again, but just gave it a quick once-​over. I wasn’t too impressed for the price. I think I could have done a similar job with the carpet cleaner that I own. Also, I was told it would dry in 2 – 3 hours, but since it was cleaned during the winter, I expected it to dry in 4 – 6. To my surprise, it took 2 days!

My husband I were hesitant to have our carpets cleaned (vs replacing), since they were in such horrible condition. Once we decided to go ahead, we chose ChemDry because of the another positive review we found on Unilocal.We knew we shouldn’t have expected a miracle because of the condition of the carpets.
Luke showed up on time and was very courteous & informative! Did a quick assessment (since he was not the one who did the initial eval) and got right to work.
We felt comfortable enough to leave him in our home, since we had to run down the street to our son’s soccer game.
Luke called us about an hour and a half later to let us know he was finishing up. My husband ran home to meet Luke and… A MIRACLE WAS PERFORMED! Wow! We never expected our carpets to come out as clean as the did. My husband was so impressed, that he decided to go ahead and get the stain-​guard treatment, that cost just a fraction extra.
The drying process took a little longer than we were told, but I think that was only due to the cold, overcast day.
I will definitely be using ChemDry in the future and recommend them to anyone searching for a great, affordable and productive company.

Jeff was a real savior. We needed to get the carpets cleaned in our rental condo, and we only had a four hour window between the completion of the painting and when our tenant needed to move in. Jeff worked around our schedule, showed up on time, was very courteous, and, best of all, removed all of the stains from our carpeting. The carpet almost looked new when he finished.
