I find it extremely hard to talk to their pharmacists. They go in circles. Im the kind of person who likes to cut the chase and be direct to the point. It makes me tired everytime I need to refill medications with them. They lack communication skills. I’m not talking about just one or two pharmacist, It’s the culture in their store. Tragic!

So I went to this location on Friday for a few items prior to Easter and we got helped by an awesome male employee but I cannot remember his name and it’s been killing me . I know it starts with a C!!! So if you’re out there and you see this thank you for the awesome service and the laugh . As far as the store itself goes it’s your average cvs store with the basics and some fun items in the middle of the store. This cvs is a little weird because they seem to have a section with storage but it’s kind of open to the public but it looks like a store in a way. Hard to explain but it doesn’t affect your shopping . Although this isn’t my usual pharmacy due to location and distance from home it is a good alternative if ever needed.

Usually when I order pics online for. print, I arrive to CVS hours after the pick up time to find nothing had been printed. However, this time nothing was printed but the cashier tried her best to get them printed asap but she continued to get an error. She explained that I would have to return a diff day, I explained that I ordered them online at 8:04 an and it was now 9pm. After 4 tries, her coworker tried and was very successful. I would usually be upset at this service issue but when I see team work to correct an issue, I’m very pleased. This was great team work at its best [

This CVS isn’t the best CVS ever, it’s a little older and a little run down, but it has some great people working at it. I’ve never had anything less than great service both in the Pharmacy and at the front checkout counter.

Thanksgiving day recovery. I never knew how much I appreciated cvs until today. I had so much good food yesterday I knew I was going to pay for it and you know what I did. Lol I jumped up to get my keys and flew over there as fast as I could. As I’m walking thru those doors I’m immediately confronted with candy and Christmas gifts as I enjoy my diversion from indigestion I take note of how many fabulous bottles of perfume I must have on my wish list all the pretty music boxes I can add to my collection. I see all the pretty lights, the ornaments and think out loud they have a better selection than major department stores. I mean really who are these fairies that design these displays I see Santa and his elves handy work everywhere. It’s Christmas time in this cvs. The snacks Serious junk food aisles assault my senses the food, ice cream bars you can only find here, egg nog I don’t need, candy, chips and lions and tigers and bears oh my ok thats a lie but I bet I could special order stuffed ones lol. They even carry Skinny girl cocktails, for the people who don’t know that’s Bethenny Frankel’s product a former Real Housewive of New York. They have a serious wine selection and hard liquor I’m not a big drinker but it’s there if I want it. I grabbed a few cans of fancy feast cat food for my sweetie Princess TaeTae aka Kaylee my GrandCat never mind that my daughter says mom no more wet food for her she’s too fat I say why can’t a grandma spoil her a little and I sneak and buy her a few. Relief at last… I finally get to the antacid section and find exactly what I need to end my suffering, well maybe a little suffering I’m a bit dramatic. I went to get one thing and came out of this store with so many gift ideas. until next time cvs I’ll be back real soon to start my Christmas shopping.

The folks in the pharmacy are great! They are always helpful, professional, and pleasant. I do not like the parking lot at all since no one drives down the right lanes. They need to repaint it so you can go in both directions or something to make it easier for people. The rest of the store is pretty good even though you frequently have to wait in a long line to check out.

The parking lot for this CVS is quite strange and quite small. The inside of the CVS is just plain disgusting. I just happened to be in the area yesterday for work(05-11-2013) and desperately in need of finding a Mother’s Day card so I figured CVS was a good place to look. I walked in an immediately noticed how dirty this place, not only was this place dirty but it smelled like mold. What is even more disturbing about this place smelling like mold is that this CVS has a Pharmacy attached. I am kind of crazy like this, that I require places where I get food & Medicine to not just be clean but be super clean, I wonder if this CVS has ever heard of cross contamination? Anyone who gets an Rx filled here really needs to go inside of this location and take a deep breath and ask yourself if you feel comfortable taking medicine that was filled here. This CVS had stained rugs; several shelves were borderline empty with dollies in the corner of this CVS stacked up with product. It honestly looked like this place was holding a going out of business sale where they let you purchase up product and once everything is sold they close the doors. I finally found the card section and found a very small section that was dedicated to Mother’s Day. I found a card and walked to the front to pay for it. On my walk I observed this CVS to have a Chase ATM, a Lottery Kiosk and a Coinstar machine. I paid for my card and got the heck out of here. I do not find myself in this area often but as I was leaving the parking lot I noticed a Walgreens across the street. If I am ever back in the area and in need of a card I will definitely go to Walgreens instead of going to this cesspool.

The pharmacist assistant was terribly rude. So was her co-workers. I just got my tooth pulled out, and they were mean and almost arrogant. Never coming here again.

I can’t disagree about the lines, they are there at any hour, especially late afternoon and early evening. Other than a couple of employees at the pharmacy, it is good. That’s not a bad ratio. The nearby Target is much better, but the parking sucks. That’s the one best thing CVS on Atlantic has going. Always a short walk to the store. Update: I have found the pharmacy people to be excellent. I had a bad experience back far enough that it’s time to forget it. Lines at the general cash register are still painfully slow. If there is one complaint about CVS, it would be that.

I used to use this CVS Pharmacy out of habit because it was closed to my house. When I say close to my house I mean that Walgreens was on the other side of the street and I was to lazy to cruise over there. If you are going shopping here forget about it. There is always only one cashier helping customers regardless of how many people are in line. I used to use the pharmacy until I found out that Walmart is much cheaper but the people in the pharmacy where always nice and helped me through my problems. I have nothing else good to say about this CVS location.

Closest CVS to my house. In the olden days, this used to be a Ralphs. I came to develop pictures but they ran out of ribbon for Kodak machine. I had to wait another day for the pictures which was not cool. Despite that I couldn’t complain much since I was getting those pictures for free anyway thanks to the Kodak Free Prints promotion on Facebook. The staff here is a hit or miss. The store is not too busy so there aren’t any long lines unless there is only one person working the register. Overall, decent place for your daily needs. And if CVS don’t go it, hopefully you can find it at Walgreens across the street. Otherwise, if I was seeking another store I prefer the 24-hour CVS on Willow and Long Beach Blvd. The lighting there is so much better. However, there is so much parking available at this CVS.

I came here for some Claratin and tissues, as I was sick. The pharmacist was ok, but I think Target has better prices for the cold medicine. On to the store– most if the sale items I saw advertised were completely out of stock. Once I did find something I wanted to buy, there was a HUGE line w/only one cashier open. It took forever to get out of there. I would give the pharmacy 3 stars and the store 1 star. Basically this store is kinda ghetto, so go somewhere else if you have the option.

I made the mistake of buying makeup here. The items didn’t work out. I tried to return them with my receipt and the manager refused. I pointed out their company policy I’d printed out from their website which stated the contrary, and he still refused. «I can’t resell that!» Well of course not, THEY’REOPEN. I went to another CVS and the manager took the items back, no problem. Also, the beggars are really getting out of hand. The last time I was there two women were fighting for the right to harrass the customers. I pointed out the ruckus to the cashier who just shrugged. OKAY…

TURNDOWNTHEEFFINGSOFTROCK. PLEASE. No one needs to hear Phil Collins sing«Groovy Kind of Love» at near rock-concert volumes while picking up a prescription or some other health care essential. Minus 5 more stars for the crew of degenerate and aggressive panhandlers manning the door to the store more effectively than a bouncer at a velvet rope.
