History
Established in 2013.
This practice started in April of 2013. It was the former office of Dr Michael Gritz, who had been at this location in Long Beach for over 30 years. Dr Daniel Tang had come to know Dr Gritz from his time as a student at UCLA dental school. When the opportunity presented that the practice was available and Dr Gritz was planning to retire, the transition occurred. Dr Tang remembers his former instructor as someone who held himself to high standards, who loved to hone his craft as a dentist, and who treated people with honesty and integrity. Dr Tang strives to continue the tradition and standard of care the patients come to expect and deserve.

Business Owner
Dr Daniel Tang is a 2005 licensed graduate of UCLA School of Dentistry. Following graduation, Dr Tang served in the US Army as an active duty dental officer and was stationed at Fort Polk, Louisiana. He deployed to Iraq from 2007 – 2009. In 2010, he returned home to Southern California to continue his dental career. After working at different offices throughout the greater Los Angeles area, he decided to venture out on his own. In April of 2013, he transitioned into the dental office of Dr Michael Gritz, who was retiring from 30 years of private practice in Long Beach.
Dr Daniel Tang is a member of the Harbor Dental Society, California Dental Association, and the American Dental Association.
