Far Outfit

Joanna is a curator extraordinaire. Her shop alone is transportive, add her charm and ease of conversation and you’ll never want to leave. I swear if she offered tea or coffee she would never get rid of me.
Everything is extremely well organized. If you walk in looking for a short sleeved blouse, there’s half a rack waiting for you. A colorful dress circa 1980’s? Back of the store on the right etc. If you walk in having no idea and allowing the Universe to guide you, you will find one of a kind treasures. She also has a small collection of furniture throughout. I recently bought two velvet upholstered lounge chairs from her. At first I thought I couldn’t fit them in my car and she offered to load one into hers and drive it to my house for me! She cares about her customers, her store and her place in the community.
Her prices are very reasonable. Some of the new shops on 4^th are charging Melrose prices for things you know they found at Goodwill. Joanna maintains the heart and original intention of Long Beach Retro Row with her fair prices and exceptional vintage collection.

Wow! I just returned from my second foray to Faroutfit & have to write about my experience! This is definitely my favorite «new» vintage shop on 4^th street’s Retro Row. There is an amazing collection of vintage clothes, accessories, furniture, etc here. The owner, Johanna, is knowledgable and friendly. The selection of clothes is amazing & eclectic. We found the perfect vintage dress! We’ll definitely be back for that gorgeous lamp in the front window.

Cool spot. Johanna the owner is super cool and I found an epic corduroy hat that makes me look like I know what I’m doing. They have vinyl too.
