Grant could be a better school unfortunately it’s not first of all dropping off or picking up a child from school is horrible there is no «valet drop off» like there should, pta is not as strong as others i know, staff is so so, kids get late slips if they come in after 8 maybe if the principal would be out in the morning monitoring the valet drop of it would all be better. I work in a school at LBUSD and see such a big difference from were i work to Grant such a huge difference total opposite!!! If i had the time i would join the pta and have so many activities done for these kids …

If I could give this school zero stars I would. The office staff is so horrible to the kids and parents. one day my son went to the office feeling sick. The receptionist CLAUADIA sent my son back into class… this was in the morning. when I picked my son up from school my son had a fever of 102.1 this was at 230 my son had to stay in school all day sick because of this women who is NOT even a nurse…
And this didn’t happen just once… CLAUDIA the receptionist also is very unprofessional talking about parents in front of the kids. I called LBUSD to make a complaint and got no phone call back… So if you are looking to put your kid in this school please Don’t…

Came here when I was a kid. It was a good school the staff was nice. I am in the area once a week and pass by. Its got this cool tree that grew in all crazy and my kid loves to climb it just like I did when i was a kid.
