Specialties
Growing with Music and Movement offers an educational music experience program for children ages 2 to 11. The program combines elements of Orff Schulwerk and Kodaly methods with traditional philosophies of music education. It encourages musical, social, emotional, and physical development of young children through a multi-disciplinary approach by singing, playing, listening, moving, and creating. Classes focus on teaching basic rhythm, vocal training, and music notation through various musical games, songs, and dances. Children will be introduced to various percussion instruments and eventually will learn to play the recorder — a vital stepping-stone to learning to play any other instrument.
