Lacquer Nail Salon and Beautique

Absolutely loved this salon. Came in for a shellac manicure and was scheduled with Jennifer. I was greeted at the door by the manager and offered a glass of a water. Which is a nice change from the usual nail shops I go to. Jen was really sweet and did a great job on my manicure. The lotions and scrubs they use smell so good and I loved them! I definitely want to purchase a lotion next time I go in. I will come back here. The place is decorated really nice and really clean and it’s been over a week and my shellac is still on and looks great!

I heard about this place from some Friends that live in this area so I decided to make an appointment and come in so that me and my daughter can get our nails done for my nieces wedding. The owner Tonya was very nice and so was her staff. they were all professional and I love the ambiance of the salon as it was very clean and classy. this is definitely a nice change compared to those Chop places and I was able to have a conversation with my tech Jen who was super sweet. I also noticed that it was a chemical free zone, I love the use of the more natural products. I will definitely be coming back to this place and recommend that others do as well.

I have been in search of a new place to get my nails done, so after a million terrible mani/​pedis, I found this gem. Best mani/​pedi, great price and super clean salon! Lovely staff as well.

I’ve been wanting to try this place for a while. I needed my brows done today so I called, and they were able to set me up with an appointment immediately! This nail salon is so chic! I love the décor and vibe. Love my brows and pedi. I’ll be back soon!

Just had to write another review for my favorite nail salon. Feel horrible that it is weighed down by bad experiences which have been remedied once the salon team were made aware. That’s the thing. I can go to Outback and have my steak overcooked and leave feeling horrible about the meal or inform management, giving them an opportunity to turn around my dining experience. Outback is my average date night favorite steakhouse not because they’ve never made a mistake but because they are always super when a mistake is brought to their attention. I’ve never had anything but pampering at Lacquer but hate that the salon I enjoy so much might not be able to share that same pampering for another customer because of previous bad reviews. Give it a try. It’s definitely a special place. Love the natural products, CLEAN environment and of course my fav COPPER PEDICURE BOWLS — on my «must have» wish list.

i came in here because my wife and i was waiting for our son just started class at the martial art two doors down. I did not plan to get a pedicure because i never had one done before and i never thought anything about it. My wife convince me to get my first pedicure. At first, i was really nervous and embarrassed because my toe nails were kind of long, but Kristy was really friendly and professional. She made sure i felt comfortable and explain the steps that she took along the way. She gave me the hot stone massage and it was very relaxing. I promised to come back to get a pedi more often now that i discovered how good my feet can feel and look. Jennifer did my wife pedi and also did an amazing job. i like the copper bowls that they use to detoxify the bad stuff from your feet. amazing!

Love this new salon, it’s very serene inside, the nail technicians friendly and professional. They do not rush services and really took their time with my spa services. They use special bronze pedicure bowls that are very beneficial to your health.

I felt as if I might have looked up this salon before I went, but I was clearly mistaken! So here’s my story, after years of going to mediocre nail salons I felt it was time to upgrade. Earlier this week I had called to make an appointment at Lacquer Nail Salon. I was scheduled for Friday, November 14^th at 10:15 AM. I arrived at 10 and was greeted by the lovely receptionist. Michelle, who was my nail tech arrived with a bad attitude at first. Upon talking to her she softened up though. Please explain to me why it took 2 hours and 45 minutes for JUST a full set, this does not include my pedicure. I had to constantly correct her work. None of the nail shapes match, I even had to take the nail file from her and correct a nail myself. She was very apologetic and full of excuses. It took my ALL not to lose it on her. The pedicure was very half ass, I’ve had better jobs at raunchy establishments. I’m not sure if she’s new or not, but I would like to speak with the owner. I was very displeased and will NEVER return. I honestly wish I could get my money back because I’ll just have to go somewhere else now for completely new work. Waste of both my time and money. 3 and half hours to be exact. Thank goodness for the 25 percent off first time customers because I couldn’t fathom paying more. The 31 dollars I spent felt like I lost 100 for the work I received. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE steer clear of Michelle. She is forgetful, unskilled, and SLLLLOOOOWWWW. The only upside was the receptionist. Very sweet and helpful. Keep her on the team!
And the one star is only because I have to and that goes to cleanliness of the shop and the receptionist!

I am never coming here again. Like the review before me, the place was clean and very presentable. The receptionist was a doll. However Michelle, did not know what she was doing. She was very forgetful and always apologizing. My nails (acrylic) were crooked and not smooth at all. I am not one to leave bad reviews, but this was very disappointing especially since i had a formal party that evening. I hope with more experience she will improve, however I don’t think she should be practicing on paying customers. Luckily I was able to get my nails fixed the next day by my regular nail guy. Before getting my nails done I was talked into getting my eyebrows waxed. It was just as bad as my nails but it is much more noticeable since it is on my face so I am now waiting for the scabs to come off. I did observe the other lady doing nails (she had tattoos) and she looked like she was doing a great job. I feel horrible leaving this review but I do want warn people about Michelle. Back to my regular guy!

I REALLY wanted to like this place! Its very clean and cute inside but unfortunatley the girl who did my nails (Michelle I think?) Was not very good at all.
I showed up a few minutes before 10 and was greeted by the receptionist, I ended up waiting until about 10:10 for her to arrive to do my nails, then another 10 minutes for her to set up. So now it is 10:20 and we are just starting my nails. She started on my manicure and it looked terrible, she basically told me sorry, this light doesn’t work very well and white (the color I chose) is really hard to use. Really? It was crazy to me. She did a fine job on my pedicure but the fact that I was there for 2 ½ hours and walked out with a crappy manicure was pretty terrible. Guess I have to find a new place.
