Great local spot. Food is great and John and Tadhg are great owners and hosts. The bar staff are tremendous and as a long beach resident this place has become my local. The personal touch here is what separates in from the crowd. Also kid friendly with a large outdoor seating place. Winter or summer its a great spot. Also great spot to watch sports especially hard to find games such as rugby(Im a big rugby fan))).

I have always been a fan of Lilly’s. Classic Irish pub. My friends and I went there for brunch a few weeks ago and I became an even bigger fan of Lilly’s. The waitress was great, constantly filling up our glasses, giving true meaning to unlimited mimosas! I ordered a burger with bacon and brie cheese and it was probably one of the best burgers I’ve ever had.

Went to Lilly’s not really expecting much more than your typical Long Beach Irish pub. Well was I wrong. This place is more than your typical Irish pub the staff was great and very friendly the patrons were fun and lively the beers were cold need I say more. Oh you bet your ASS I will the food was amazing ! I ordered the chicken pot pie my buddy ordered the shepherds pie.(Sorry no pic of the food) let’s just say that pot pie never had a chance after that first bite I was hooked. If your in Long Beach it’s a must try.

Nice Irish themed menu with good flavors. Wait staff is great. Place is inviting and having the bar somewhat separate from dining is nice for a family out with the kids.

The reason I gave five stars is Nikki the bartender made the best bloodymary I’ve had, Lilly’s has a nice ambiance and will definitely come back.

Couldn’t decide where to eat after an afternoon on the beach so we decided to stop in to Lilly’s. What a pleasant surprise. My boyfriend ands I couldn’t decide what entrée to eat so we decided to go with a two appetizers and the Bleu Angus burger. The burger was delicious but the reverse wings were amazing. I went to school in Buffalo and have eaten my share of wings. These were very different with it cooked in blue cheeses and you dipped it in hot sauce. Then the mac and cheese was perfect. I have tried tons of mac and cheese throughout long island. Even at some of the most expensive steak houses. This was up threw with my favorite at Rare 650. A little live music also was a plus. Only negative, was the dark beer want there. Highly recommend. Great for a good hang out dinner and relaxed atmosphere

It’s such a shame because this place looked great and the hostess was so nice! We were seated and no one served us, we waited about fifteen minutes and really hoped someone would come to us but the staff just kept walking by! The place wasn’t even busy it was 8 o’clock and the food looked so good such a shame!

Gotta give props where props are due… I complained about Lilly’s in an earlier review but they have stepped their game up. My first review mentioned a lack of specials, problem solved, Lilly’s has a wing night, taco night, and a banging all you can drink brunch. Let’s talk about the brunch because, in a town saturated with brunch spots, Lilly’s is now competing for the best. Offered both Saturday and Sunday with adequate outdoor seating, and I doubt there’s a better breakfast dish in this town than their frosted flakes-crusted French toast. Nice looking bar with solid service, fair prices, good specials, and above average food. Still not putting bacon atop their«potato leek soup topped with bacon» though, grrrr

Three of my friends and I came to Lilly’s on Sunday morning for the bottomless brunch. It was around $ 23 for an entrée and unlimited Bloody Mary’s, Mimosas, and Corona Light for FIVEHOURS(10AM — 3PM). I’ve been to bottomless brunch places before where I would pay $ 40-$ 50 for 2 – 3 hours of unlimited drinks. To me, this was a great deal. I got the Egg Avocado for breakfast which was sauteed avocado with scrambled eggs, pico de gallo, and tortillas on the side. I ordered a few mimosas but then switched to Coronas. I forget our waitresses name, she was from Ireland and was very attentive to us and did a pretty good job serving several tables at a time. A few weeks prior, I went here for a Taco Tuesday. The chicken and beef tacos were awesome and it’s hard to believe that they were a dollar each. Definitely coming back here many times this summer!

Country music playing, good food, and cold beer. Can’t ask for much more! I recommend the $ 10 beer/burger combo on Monday nights or 50¢ Wings on Wednesdays. Solid summer beach bar with TVs everywhere you look.

I came back two times in the last week. After the first dinner I was about to give 5 stars. Burger was great again, and the waitress we had was on point. But the second dinner made me reconsider. I was with a group that ordered wings. Wings were soggy and we each got different amounts. We all ordered 10 wings each and some of us got between 8 – 13 wings. The waiter we had was horrible. Only saw him twice for the order and check. Different waiter brought out food and drinks. The table of girls near us were waiting so long for him to come back with the check that they had to get up and find him. Seems to be hit or miss. I’ve heard the same from other locals. I’ll probably come back because the food was ok, and the west end doesn’t have many great options

I was so happy to see this place pop up in the west end. I keep bringing new friends and everyone has enjoyed their meal! I’ve gone for lunch, dinner and also just to grab a drink. Their chicken potpie($ 14)yumm! Their sliders($ 12) delicious! The pretzel app — yes please! I could go on… Last time we were in was a Sunday, the sweet waitress(blonde woman with short hair, I’ve seen her at my gym) so was kind to put on our football game near our table. She even switched the table out as it was wobbly. Great service! The only suggestion… Put some more beers on tap.

I love it when a nice pub opens up in the neighborhood. This is definitely a different scene than the other bars in the West End of Long Beach and it’s so nice! The bar itself is clean, nicely decorated and I am just loving that they put all the fruit for the bar drinks in mason jars! I always find myself coming here because there always seems to be a nice crowd and the bartenders are all really nice. Now I haven’t tried the food yet, but I have stolen a fry or two off of my friend’s plates, and they were pretty good. They were seasoned really nicely. Oh! I also tore off a piece of my friends pretzel and that was delightful also. Good luck, Lilly’s!

This place is completely different from most of the west end bars, and it is a much needed addition to Long Beach. It used to be a fish market that closed. Its got a decent amount of space, and a second, separate room for people looking to just have dinner. The bar area is nice and long, with darts, TV and high top stools. They have a decent beer selection, juke box and darts. It’ll be interesting to see what happens in the summer. Its not a typical long beach bar, in that its not fixed for guidos and hoochies, and its not a dive bar, so its kind of in the middle. I’m curious if its going to catch the spillover from the two«club» type bars at the end of the night, for people that don’t want to go into trainors. It was kind of busy when we came here — not crazy — but a strange crowd. It looked like there were a group of girls that took over the dart board(clearly trying to meet men that wanted to play, conversation starter 101), a few people that had been boozing ALL day, a group of middle aged housewives looking to get out and paaarrrrtaaaaaayyy, and then some older long beach locals dropping money in the juke box and dancing in ways I feel people their age should not be dancing — but hey — more power to them! We got a high table in the corner, and people watched. The bartender was great, she didn’t keep us waiting at the bar even though a few people were chewing her ear off, and mixed a nice strong(but not HOLYCRAPTHERESMYVODKA) strong drink with a smile. It definately looks like a bar they will remember you if you come there on a regular basis. I dont know what else to say — its a bar, not a typical long beach bar, which is refreshing. We had a nice night, so I hope the west end trolls don’t ruin it come july
