I love stopping here. Service is great and good food. We sometimes come by in the early hours and they don’t open until 7am so we have to find somewhere else to eat.

First impression when one see the A frame Loaded Café is some of the old IHOPS or Chalet in the NWUS. Going on the café it is very clean and orderly and was greeted with a friendly face. The devorating is pretty minimalist with a «chicken soup book» like motif. I believe at 800 am on a national holiday I had the place to myself which does not happen that often. Two chefs, a server and uno bossman. Ordered my normal veggie omlette just because I could and the coffee was hot and free of sugar and and lactose. To me the key to the potatoes, hash browns or seasoned potatoes, is the homemade vs being industrial frozen packed. The seasoned cost extra so I stuck with the hash browns. I may be wrong but hash brown that come from a bag always look too evenly cut and have an distinct after taste. I think these were those kind but the chef managed to cook them in such a way to minimize that texture and taste. The omlette veggies were nicely cooked or sauted so the omlette melded together with the egg whites and cheese. Nothing worse than eating cold and crisp veggies in an omlette. Loved the hot sauce. Not salsa but added a little somethin, somethin to the overall works. Its nearly 900 am now and the place is being to get busier. Also I their menu, lots of picture for those who are visually attracted to food. Come see and taste.

Ate here recently before heading to Long Beach Aquarium. Food was pretty good and the customer service was great. I would definitely come back if I lived in town.

I love this place. The food is great & fresh off the grill. I took my family there twice when they were visiting from AZ. The liked it so much they wanted to go back. Service is awesome. We were seated within 15 minutes and there was a gang of people there. I really do their best to accommodate everyone. It’s my breakfast treat when I’m not eating clean

It is just okay… same as ihop. Service is good but the food is just okay. I ordered steak omelette with pancake. The portion is big but the taste is not impressive. The coffee is a bit burned.

Crazy finals week at CSULB and I just wanted to treat myself to a delicious breakfast. I came in and was greeted and served by Edith. She was amazing! She recommended me the Coconut flavor coffee and it tasted so good that I drank it within seconds. She came over and quickly gave me a refill(1 free refill)! Wooo thanks girl. I ordered the supreme combo and it was just what I was looking for. $ 7.99 for 2 pancakes, 2 eggs, 2 pieces of bacon, and a hashbrown. The most important meal of the day, and now I must go study all night for my finals. Thanks for the amazing breakfast and service!

I have to say, on this repeat visit, LK delivered on all fronts. I think their menu may have changed because I didn’t remember seeing crepes before now. I came close to ordering one. Instead, I got the fajita chicken omelet. It was savory and delicious. I’m now eager to come back and try a crêpe and many more things in the menu. They’re only open until 4pm, so I’ll have to plan my trip accordingly. I highly recommend giving them a try.

I went to loaded kitchen café. I placed my name on queue and sat down to wait to be seated. I looked at the menu. The pictures were gross. The berry compote looks disgusting. I then left The restaurant is simply a iHop with a different name. I am shocked that it has a four stars. You should all know that i left the same review. Loaded café apparently was unhappy, and they contracted Unilocal to have my review removed. Shadiness at its finest: «Hi Dominic, We wanted to let you know that we’ve removed your review of Loaded Café. Your review was brought to our attention by the Unilocal community, and we found that it fell outside our Content Guidelines as it did not appear to describe a firsthand customer experience.» Clearly, sitting down to place am order and looking at the menu, and leaving in disgust is the definition of a first hand experience.

Would have been 3 stars, but because of Amanda, my server, I gave 4 stars. Food is ok. Honestly it looks like an IHOP that went out of business and new owners came in and gave it a Mexican meets a American breakfast flair. Seemed a bit over priced for breakfast food, which is what I ordered. TBH, had it not been for my waitress who was not only attentive, but pretty funny and very personable, I wouldn’t have even left a review. She deserves 5 stars and I thank her for turning a simple breakfast into an enjoyable encounter.

Loaded Kitchen and loaded plates. The food is simple and tasty. Portions are generous and well priced. And I have to mention the service, it rocks. The people are friendly and attentive. Veronica was our server this morning. She kept our coffees full and checked on us a few times through-out our meal. This place is definitely on my go-to list for breakfast spots in the LBC.

Very skeptical about these long beach people reviews of their restaurants. This place is not four stars, is just IHOP with a different name. Same menu, same high fructose corn syrup berry compote. No thanks.

Ask for Amanda. She will take Care of you and is a great waitress. ^-^ Went with my lil sis and two of my homegirls to check out the place. It was a really good experience and the food was delicious too. The crepes and the nutella banana waffles are yummy. The prices are very affordable! I recommend thisplace to anyone who is seeking inexpensive breakfast, lunch or dinner. ^-^

Everything was great first time around and we were happy to come back, however, our second visit was our last. Service was slow, the waitress said my botched order would be corrected in «three minutes» only to take upwards of thirty minutes. Since we only had an hour lunch and had to get going, we were going to remove the item from the bill. The item was brought to us, we changed our mind(mistake!) and paid only to find the item ordered had the SAME issue! Had the item removed before we left and as I stated before: we will not be back! Waste of time and a damn shame.

I love this Loaded Kitchen and the one in LA. What a great little unpretentious place with good food. People are nice. Its not fancy, but has a delicious menu. We go here for breakfast. I like that the LB location has booths, much easier to deal with my 19 month old in a booth. Food is quality and priced just right. We’ll be back for bfast for sure.

Pleasantly surprised at how good Loaded Kitchen was! If a Mexican restaurant and an Ihop were to have a baby, this would be it. It’s your typical cheap American diner food with additions of Mexican classics. Ordered a chicken fried steak with sunny side eggs, and a biscuit instead of hash browns. My little brother ordered the chorizo and eggs with tortillas. The rice that came with it was sooooooo flavorful and delicious. The best part is definitely the hot sauces that they have, I’ve never seen that brand anywhere and the orange habanero one was my favorite, really spicy! Hostess wasn’t that great, but our waitress was excellent! She was super nice, chatted with us, gave good recommendations, and was on top of it. Would definitely come back again when in the mood for cheap American diner breakfast.

I had to ask for a refill of way 3 times asked for a box twice. They got our food wrong and then they ignored us. We asked to change 2 pancakes for one waffle they said it was 1.55 more. That’s fine but it was undercooked and when we said can we just get some toast they tired charging more. This place is horrible! Horrible service horrible food and horrible management. I suggest you don’t eat here. There food even made me throw up.

Today was our first time here. And the staff was amazing. Our waitress, Luz, was very friendly and super nice. The manager also was a very friendly. I had the turkey lovers combo and it was on spot. Very well. My family enjoyed their food and had left with full bellies. We will differently come back again. It is small and cozy. The way I like it.

This marks the first time I’ve had a feeling of privacy in a diner. At Denny’s, you can see the entire restaurant from any seat(which is perfectly ok, I’m jus’ sayin’). Here, there was a feeling of privacy not present in most diners. Also, I can bring my twin toddlers and sit them on the inside of the booth, while my wife and I block them in by sitting on the outside. Veronica was our server. She was good — friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. I had the country style fried chicken steak and two eggs over easy. It came with hash browns, and two pancakes. The country fried steak was freshly prepared, and had a good amount of flavor. The sausage gravy was delicious. The eggs were good. The pancakes were some of the best I’ve had — there was the perfect amount of fluffiness and freshness. There are four types of syrups tableside to choose from. I also had strawberry lemonade, which was very good — just be advised there’s no free refills. Loaded Kitchen Café was delightful, and I will be back to try other menu items.

The pictures of crepes looked so good that we all had to try it. We did a call in order which was really nice b/c there was a really long line when I got there. The meal however was mediocre. I ordered a strawberry pineapple smoothie that came out the incorrect flavor but still delicious. My strawberry banana French toast was rather sliced soggy bananas and strawberries and some type of strawberry starchy syrup that completely soaked into my toast and made it soggy before I even got to it. My scrambled eggs were still runny as if they didn’t have enough time to cook fully. My roommate got a breakfast burrito which she seemed pleased with. We were all very happy with the amount of food you get with your order so I’m hoping this was a one time mess up so we can head back for another big breakfast.

I’ve been meaning to try this place out since it became loaded kitchen café from ihop. It’s literally down the street from my house, can’t believe I haven’t gone sooner because their prices are amazing, their portions are huge, and the foods great and service is on point. Everything you need and want from a restaurant! Let me start from the beginning, we walked in and the inside is a little small and the kitchen and cooks are literally right there when you walk in. We were seated almost right away. They hostess came to ask what drinks we wanted and we just ordered water and looked the menu. We decided what we wanted and our water still never came out. The waitress came to take our order so we ordered our drinks again since I guess they forgot so she gave me a free cup of OJ because of the wait. I ordered the steak and eggs which came with hash browns and pancakes. I really wanted a Nutella banana crêpe so I asked to substitute the pancakes for the crêpe and it was 3.59 extra which isn’t too bad! My BF and I shared it and it was so so good. As for the steak, it was juicy and so flavorful. It had grilled onions and mushrooms in it, so good too. My boyfriend got a coffee and ordered the machaca, I guess it’s a Mexican dish, he’s Mexican lol. But it came with green pepper onions and shredded beef with eggs. I didn’t try it but he liked his dish. It also came with 3 flour tortillas, you have the option to get corn as well. It’s a huge dish, my BF is a big guy and he ate it all and was full. We spent $ 32.44! Not bad for a lot of food. We ate it all, haha. Good service, loved our waitress. She was very attentive to our needs. Great food. I definitely want to go back. Their lunch and dinner options look good too so I’ll be back :)

Ok… Loaded Loaded with what? Let me say I have always seen this place and drove past it because I didnt like the sign. Today I made the mistake of stopping by. While the service was great, I couldn’t say the same for the food… Maybe they need a new chef and maybe someone else too do their purchasing. Food here isn’t real. The presentation of some of the food probably didn’t help as well. Hell maybe the menu is too demographically based on location? Arrived at 830am, we where seated away from everyone else, which if consider race it was interesting. We ordered, a machaca breakfast and country fried steak and eggs. Along with iced coffee and a regular coffee. I’ll begin to break this down. Dish one(machaca) eggs and beef were ok. But then its easy too hide mistakes in a scramble. The meat wasn’t juicy it was more dried and bland not really seasoned to taste other than that. The beans where watery fresh from the can just has bland as my bagged cooked rice next too it. My tortillas where thrown in a bag and microwaved. If you like that sort of thing then go for it. Now dish two I though would be better. It looked appealing. But the chicken fried steak was prepackaged processed. The gravy was powdered mixed with milk or water. The eggs had a shell left in. Mistakes happen but only the only thing left edible was the hash browns which seemed over cooked. The most annoying thing though was the waitress offering me a multitude of sauces and ketchups. Its 8am don’t offer me 4 sauces and ask me to try your chicken wings and chicken strips. Maybe its demographically inevitable but I don’t need buffalo wings this early in the morning… why would assume that. If your wondering about the coffee, don’t. The coffee was also fake, powdered swiss mix. My iced coffee was also a syrup blend. IHOP used to be the establishment in this location. I’m not an IHOP frequent customer but I would appreciate it coming back. Some of the Unilocalers believe IHOP is expensive, if you cant afford an IHOP then you have no business going out too eat period. Also I cant believe some of these Unilocalers gave this place a five star review they don’t know what food is or haven’t gone out enough. Maybe they had some mythical magical experience on whatever plate they ordered that wasn’t granted to me. A cancer patient with no taste buds would be disappointed in this location as well. What a waste of 34 dollars. The service was great, the location was clean. But food is not their business.

OK, the breakfast foods are all I’ve tried so far, and its been very good, service was excellent and the price is fair! So many businesses come and go in long beach it can be scary trying new places out. But you will not be disappointed, unless your impossible to please! I have become a regular here and you will too!
