I have worked with Pride as a vendor for many years and it is never a pleasant or easy experience but this years event as a vendor has been particularly bad. Vendors have no idea what is going on. Packets were not sent to us telling us what we had to do. No one would answer the phones or return messages. Finally vendors were informed that they had to pick up information that we paid for at their office. Here was my experience. There was one person working this detail of handing out packets I had to wait. second I got my packet of information for my location and parking pass(1) I ordered(2) as well as wristbands(2) for each day but I ordered an additional 13 for each day that were not there and their idea of good customer service was to tell me to wait a day and get them at the festival. The next day I went to the festival grounds and had to wait an hour with many other vendors who also needed wristbands and packets. Finally I got what I had paid for and left. The attitude of their staff is piss poor. Everybody passes the buck and no one knows what is happening at any given time. You will be put out if you work this event and the staff makes you feel like a piece of shit for asking for help.
