Specialties

We specialize in a wonderful blend of Irish and American cuisine

History

Established in 2013.

A brand new restaurant on the beautiful Alamitos Bay, we aim to become the perfect location for dining on the bay, whether for a romantic evening with someone special or a night out with the family.

With a full bar, and live music Thursday through Sunday, our wonderful restaurant transforms into THE place to come for drinks with friends, catching the game, or just celebrating the weekend.

Business Owner

A brand new amazing little waterfront gem on beautiful Alamitos Bay, with a wonderful new Irish twist. Malarkey’s Grill and One Hell of an Irish Bar owners have decided to make this ocean front location not only a fun, family-friendly environment, but also an inviting location to host your next special event in their private banquet room that will hold up to 100 guests. Malarkey’s also has one of the coolest bars which features not only amazing views of sunsets overlooking Alamitos Bay and Catalina Island, but also features Southern California’s best happy hour from 4 – 8 Monday thru Saturday. Malarkey’s Grill and one Hell of an Irish Bar is one more in a long list of restaurant concepts that owner Patrick Holleran has developed throughout his 30 year hospitality career. «I have worked in the industry everywhere from Maui to Manhattan and I always love coming home to Southern California. Now I have an opportunity to do what I love to do, right here in Long Beach».
