History

Established in 1999.

MotoQuest started in Anchorage, Alaska by Phil Freeman with 2 XT’s and a dream. We were originally called Alaska Rider Tours. We now operate tours in over 17 countries, and provide rentals in 5 cities. We offer dual sport motorcycle rentals with a complete line of BMW GS models, as well as sport tourers like the BMW R1200 RT. For more rugged riding, we offer the Kawasaki KLR 650.

Our motorcycle rental prices are competitive and our staff is extremely knowledgeable and enthusiastic.

Phil Freeman F.

Business Owner

Phil was born and raised in Alaska. He has lived and worked around the world, but is always drawn back to the grandeur of Alaska. He started Alaska Rider Tours in 1998 with just three used motorcycles, and a dream to share Alaska. He is the owner and founder of MotoQuest.

Phil believes we all have choices in life, and motorcycling the world is the best of them.
