National is convenient, the staff is friendly and their service is quick, however I will not be returning. Why only 1 star? I’m tired of having my pants pressed incorrectly. I’ve been a loyal customer for a couple of years and pretty much from day 1 I’ve requested not to have my pants pressed with creases. It has fallen on deaf ears for the last time! It’s even posted on my customer file that they (supposedly) keep on record. I picked up four pairs of pants today, ALL RUINED, after verbally telling the employee this morning «no creases» on my pants. :(:(NEVER AGAIN! You’ve lost a loyal customer.

All of my shirts are pressed so hard you can see the back side stitching and seams through the shirt. Nothing came back without wrinkles and they lost 3 out of the four pocket buttons on my dress uniform. This was $ 54 I can never get back. The National Dry Cleaners on PCH is great and worth the extra drive.

I just moved to Long Beach and I went to this dry cleaners based on their reviews. The first time I brought my items here, they came back with stains that were not there when I brought it in. During the same trip, my husbands button down was also stained. We brought it back, his shirt was fixed and the manager did nothing for mine convincing me it was my perfume. I know for a fact, it was NOT my perfume as I do not spray perfume on my silk blouses. We decided to give them another shot and our clothes came back OK, besides that absolutely horrendous smell! My dirty clothes smell better than what they use in that dry cleaner. Once again, I just received back my silk top and pants with STAINS that I did not have. Do they not check their clothes before giving them back to their customers? I’ve never EVER dealt with such carelessness. My clothes that require dry cleaning are good quality and expensive. Now I need to go back, yet again, showing them stains that they are responsible for. I would avoid this place at all costs.

I’ve been going here for many years and very satisfied. I was sad to hear that Bridgette is being let go. She was always dependable and always took care of me — and was helpful and caring. She was one of the reason I kept going back. She always had my stuff ready and always got my order right. I typically noticed other employees were running late and not paying attention to me — adding starch when I didn’t want it. If you go to National Cleaners in the morning you have met Bridgette. She is an older person — probably the oldest person working there — and she is a kind person. She is not perky, not smiley, not bubbly, not full of crap, not flirty, not immature, not arrogant, not irresponsible. She is helpful, she tries her best, she cares, and she does end up being overloaded when others are late in the morning. I’ve seen her dealing with long lines of clients and keeping even tempered — as much as one can when under stress. I’m sure she has had good and bad days — but Bridgette has always been consistent in all the years I’ve been there. She was mugged and robbed and that was very sad a few months back. She managed to come back and stay consistent even after having a black eye and other visible bruises. I am not sure why she is being let go but I do see that an older person seems to be getting dismissed and it just doesn’t sound like she should if you compare her to other employees at the same employer. It’s too bad to see older Americans being let go. I hope an older American is not be discriminated or targeted for dismissal because of age or appearance. I hope the employer is being fair and comparing her fairly with all other employees. I wish her luck and if anyone can help her I hope they can.

This place is my ONLY go to cleaners to get all of my dry cleaning done. They’re professional, polite and my clothes are always nicely and carefully cleaned. For a woman always on the go, the drive thru window is super convenient. Love this place!

This cleaners provide fast services. However, I used them about a dozen times spent approx. $ 300 and finally realized they don’t dry clean well. Each time I noticed something clothes seem faded like they were cleaned other then dry cleaning. I question it and a older lady could not understand. Then I started noticing too late since I’m a business Traveler I on the airplane or leaning hotels and see weird stain on my top or pants. The stain would be embarrassing like I’m just wearing dirty clothes to meeting. I gave them try after try finally NO MORE. They will be good for maybe jeans but never work close. I would rate them one star except hours open were good. I will never use them too many issues with cleaning my clothes. I spend too much money on my clothes to let a Dry Cleanser mess then up!

Fair prices, prompt & courteous service. CRAPPY parking; it’s cool because I always 4X4 up to the asphalt sidewalk right in front of the door. They even called me when they couldn’t complete my cleaning by end of business. Wow! So cool. Found this place in Unilocal after not liking the closer National on PCH[pricing way different (high) & just total attitude]. 4*=parking. Definate return.

These ladies are very angry. The prices are GREAT, the turnaround is GREAT! But the attitude on these women is ridiculous.

like the previous previous reviewers stated, amazing hours and good service. the fact that they’re open on sundays, take credit cards, and offer same-​day service were enough to get me to try them out.
let me add what else i noticed my first time coming here:
(1) phenomenal rapport between customers and employees, as well as between the customers. there was a true family atmosphere with folks joking around, congratulating each other on graduations, etc.
(2) free pressing of graduation robes – ultra nice touch!
(3) police officer was there dropping off his clothes – a good sign indicating quality.
all the makings of a well-​run business! even tough it’s 8 miles out of the way for me, this may become my new go-​to cleaners!

All of the ladies here are the best! Professional and personable. Great prices and hours. Same day service is awesome.

Never had any problems and I brought my wedding dress here. Great prices and excellent customer service. Low prices love National cleaner and laundry.

Best prices in town. Same day service because their presses are on the facility. If you drp off before noon you can pick up at 4:30. I took in 3 shirts to get washed and pressed with starch and paid $ 4.46 with my pre-​paid 10% discount. I have paid that price for just one shirt before!
I came back at about 5pm and used the drive through and picked up my 3 shirts and I was on my way. I no longer have to look for a dry cleaner in the Bixby Knolls area of Long Beach anymore. My shirts and I have found a home!
One thing I did notice was that parking was limited. It looked like there were a few spots out in front on Cherry and then their sidewalk was also asphalted and it looked like you could park a few cars there as well. Also the parking lot next to them has a bunch of No Parking For Cleaners signs all over the place but the gal at National said that is more for the employees because the customer come and go so much.

I’ve been going to National Cleaners for a while. At the Long Beach location I’m always given excellent customer service, especially Leticia. I mainly take my shirts and slacks for cleaning. They do a «Great» job. Sometime I may for get to check my pockets and they will check and return things I may have forgotten (once even cash). What more can I say

I tried maybe five or six dry cleaners in Long Beach (California Heights/​Bixby Knolls area) before I discovered National. They are, by far, the BEST! When you pre-​pay, you save $$$, and the people who work there are all friendly.

We’ve been customers for about 8+ years. They have a «Drop-​off bags» that you can sign-​up for with an account. You fill-​em up, drop-​em off anytime (they have a large slot by the front door) and you pick-​up your order whenever you like. It’s pretty handy. Any special requests, just jot ‘em down by the tag on the bag.
Why just 4 stars? Sometimes stains don’t come out, especially on my hubby’s business shirts. The parking can be a problem like Bruce L mentioned in his review. (I secretly find it cool you can park on the sidewalk.)
All in all, I’d say give them a shot. Oh, yeah, not for tailoring though. My hub had some pants taken in– too tight. Thank God I put him on a diet! LOL!

This is where I take our dry cleaning. I drop the shirts off around 8AM and it is ready for pick up after 4PM the same day. What’s great is if you pay in full when you drop your dry cleaning off they will give you 10% off ! Other money saving options are to print coupons that are available on their website which I’ve seen many do. The shirts look good when my husband wears them. They are fast and priced well for their service. Another great thing about this place is I can drive by their window and pick up my dry cleaning if I do not have time to park my car and walk into the cleaners.
