Quality Inn Near Long Beach Airport

Not all what I expected. I paid $ 80 for…
Cons: Dirty carpet, stained comforter and decorative pillow, dirty walls, non smoking room that smells like smoke, dirty shower and broken tv.
Pros: Good continental breakfast, mini fridge and cleaning looking sheets.
I won’t return, the choice is yours.

Worst hotel I have ever stayed at, and I have stayed at quite a few. I will admit that this is a budget hotel and you get what you pay for. Stayed for 12 days and the biggest issue I had was parking. Good luck finding parking anytime after 7pm. I had to park over a block away on the street half of the nights I was there. The hotel allows larger construction vehicles to park in the red emergency curb areas throughout the small parking lot. Unfortunately, this makes it nearly impossible (and completely impossible in some cases) for other vehicles to transit in and out of the parking lot or back up out of your space. I spoke with the hotel attendant and he told me they allow for trucks to park in the parking lot because they ‘don’t like’ to park on the street. Well I ‘don’t like’ to be blocked in, unable to back out of my spot. This is also a huge safety concern as emergency vehicles would not be able to swiftly respond in the event of an emergency. There is a reason they are marked red…
Overall, the rest of the hotel experience was sub-​par for an economy hotel. Will never stay at a Quality Inn ever again.

Nothing fancy but it gets the job done. Cheapest decent room with 2 queen beds. Pictures definitely are quite nicer than reality, but like I said it gets the job done. Parking is pretty packed but you’re allowed to park in the plaza next door.
Pretty clean room, free breakfast, and uh handsome receptionist. Okay the last part is subjective but hey, if you were there yesterday morning then I think you’d agree! (:

Value for every penny. Very clean room, clean beds. Clean bath.
Great staff. plenty of parking.
Neighborhood is not the greatest. We saw a guy getting arrested 100ft from the place. Besides that no issues. There is a subway, pizza place next door. Other than these, not any good food places around.
Driving around in the area was a little scary the way it looked.
But for the price, great place to stay. I would come back again. few dollars more than motel 6, you get a far better stay.

Stayed here last night. The front desk guy was extremely nice and helpful when i locked myself out but overall I wouldn’t stay here again.
My sisters friend gets a discount which is why I stayed here. First thought walking into the room was WHAT IS THAT SMELL? I called the front desk and he came by to smell and it said it was cleaning products…
Cleaning products make my nose dance esp in a hotel, that was not cleaning products. More like roach spray or something (being new to LB people tell me this is normal but idgaf it will never be normal).
Anyways, you could tell the place wasn’t the cleaniest. Oil or grease on the chair, towel on the tub wasn’t that clean, microwave looked like it was never wipes down, door was filthy comforter had a stain (glad I had 2 beds), I Aires out the room BC of the smell but when I tried to heat up the room. NO heat.
I’m glad I didn’t pay full price but either way I never would use this hotel again discount or not.

I had a very nice experience at this hotel, the hotel room and lobby were very clean and the people working the front desk were very helpful and inviting. The room was affordable, and they have a complimentary waffle breakfast! Which we missed :(…The only reason why I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because the pool water was dirty, which was a little disappointing and the jacuzzi wasn’t on and we didn’t have time to wait for it to warm up. Other than that everything was perfect, I would definitely come back.

Nice beds!!! breakfast was good, Got the job done for free. the bathrooms are a little rough but the price and what you get is great. good location and close to downtown LB. 10 buck über to anywhere in the city. I recommend this hotel. friendly staff.

I rarely take time to write reviews other than to say «don’t go there». HOWEVER, This is the exception. On our trip hone ti AZ we stopped here. The room was very clean, absolutely no complaint. The desk clerk Julio was efficient, professional and accomodating. The continental breakfast was fresh and coffee was constantly being brewed fresh. We will definitely be back. I recommend this Quality Inn and the rates were very fair.

This place smells and ants are everywhere. The shower is filthy and I got one of the remodeled rooms. This place would be nice if you’re used to living behind a dumpster, but other than that, stay clear.

Would definitely stay again! rooms were clean Continental breakfast was good with made to order waffles either blueberry or plan staff and housekeeping very helpful they have a pool and Jacuzzi which is a plus! only down side was the parking :(

Really wanted to put down 2.5 stars, but it’s ok. The area wasn’t as bad as I thought it’d be it upon booking the hotel. Some of the reviews on here made it seem really really bad, in a super shady area, but it really wasn’t too bad. Right on the corner of Pacific Coast Highway and Obispo.
Upon check-​in, we were promptly greeted and checked in and everything all in less than 10 mins.
Pros: decent continental breakfast, good variety of foods, healthy options also available, staff always seemed friendly and helpful, the housekeeping ladies, were always generous w/​extra towels and toilet paper, free wi-​fi (not too fast, but that’s ok), decent cable channels in the room, and had a pool and hot tub, but I didn’t use, looked decent.
Cons: parking was such a hassle, they had 3 hotel cargo vans in the parking stalls which made for less parking for guests, ants, everywhere! The bed sheets had some stains on it. Our bathroom door didn’t even close all the way, and to top it all off, there was a wad of hair just built up in the drain in the shower that the water didn’t drain very well, it was disgusting. And overall the appliances: mini fridge, microwave, and alarm clock were all unplugged, hard to get things cold. Didn’t enjoy that. Definitely needs to remodel, some areas around the property was old.
Overall, I might book here again, maybe.

First time here. Saw a number of ants in the room, things were not exactly very clean, the WiFi was very slow, couldn’t even play iPad online games. On the bright side, location is pretty good, and there is a pizza place that makes very good pizza. AC works fine. Breakfast was alright. In general this place was okay.

Found this place and decided to stay for the free parking while we were on a 4 day cruise. Location is nice and they are remodeling so will be even better. We didn’t have to leave for the ship until 1pm or so and they allow you to check out as late as you need to and then the van drives you to port. Breakfast is included as well. There were no problems parking our car for the 4 days, they have you pull around by the office in the front and they weren’t that busy and if you park by others going on the ship you know your car won’t get dinged or anything while away. They will pick you yup and bring you back to the car when you are back in port as well. There is a donut shop and pizza place right in the same parking lot too. The donut shop was fabulous they have smoothies and bobo teas as well. I would recommend this place if you need a place to stay the night and or park your car while away on a cruise. They have a great Sail and Park Special.

First of all, I personally had a great stay here at the hotel. I got a newly remodeled room with new carpet. Complementary breakfast is a plus! Stayed here for 3 days. Honestly the only downside was the noise, people walking around the balcany. But other than that, everything was clean.

I read the bad reviews, but over the phone they assured me it had been remodeled. Far from it Old wallpaper. Old furniture. sagging mattress. dirty unkept grounds. I endured it for one nite and went to a decent hotel the next day. This management is not capable of doing a decent remodel and I would strongly not recommend this property.

This place is a great value! It’s in really good shape, having been recently updated. The room was clean. The bed was comfortable. There was a mini-​fridge and a microwave in the room. Everything worked. There is a pool, but I didn’t use it. The continental breakfast was one of the better ones I’ve seen anywhere, as it included hot oatmeal, hot waffles, and hard-​boiled eggs. I wish they had bananas, but there were apples and oranges available.
I was especially appreciative that, after I left my sunglasses in my room at check-​out, I was able to get them back when I returned to the hotel after my business meeting had concluded that afternoon.
No one would confuse the Quality Inn with a destination resort, but if you have something to do in Long Beach and you’re looking for a good economical place to stay, this is your place!

This is the 3^rd time staying here and we weren’t disappointed. Alfonzo checked us in and out. Very pleasant young man. Spoke with housekeeping and she was very nice and accommodating. Towels were super soft and fresh. Fridge & micro in room was a plus. They didn’t get 5 stars only because the bathroom looked runned down.

Pros: cheap, good location, spacious rooms, quiet, clean, pizza place close by that stays open until 1am, free breakfast (Belgium waffles were lovely), friendly and helpful staff
Cons: blow dryer didnt work, small room for breakfast, beds were a little firm.
But overall very pleased and best bang for your buck in the area.

Stayed here for 3 nights… Clean, great service, large rooms. Great continental breakfast lots of selection. Only downside was a Chinese couple that got into it early in the morning and were screaming. They sounded like two cats in a vicious fight! Hotel staff took care of it quickly! Subway right next door.

Third times the charm. First off the outside of the hotel looks nice clean and remodeled. Then you get inside.
First room had horrible patch jobs on the popcorn ceilings three different colors of tile in the bathroom and peeling wallpaper. We decided to stay hell it’s only one night. Went and got dinner. Come back A/​C doesn’t work. That’s a deal breaker.
Second room had water pouring from bathroom ceiling. Wow really?!? That’s unexpected. Guy at the desk didn’t seem surprised said something about the guy that was in the upstairs room blah blah blah.
Third room was ok just dated and with the same peeling wallpaper.
All in all eh probably the worst place I’ve stayed.
