The pharmacy pple are incompetent, every time I do prescriptions there is a problem they take forever, but the reason I’m leaving a review this time is because of there incompetence this last time I suffered withdrawals for not taking my medication, took me two days to get my medicines… I had to keep calling them in order to expedite my prescription, I always go there bcause of the location and this has nothing to do with the store, the store workers are very polite and they always help me, I’ll keep coming to the store but for pharmacy I’m taking my business to cvs just a block away…

The pharmacy is awful! !!! They are rude, ignorant, condescending «people» not to mention they are dumb as a box of rocks. Every person in line had an issue and they barley said sorry I’m not looking for anything other then common social skills. I can say the ice cream guys was a delight

This store was conveniently located on my way home. Walked in. There was one cashier working. The line was super long for check out and ice cream, as usual. The shelves were minimally stocked. I walked around, didn’t find what I needed, then left. I’ll pass. Next!

Thank you, Mary! Mary is a lifesaver. I stepped in gum and was looking for WD — 40 to get gum off of my shoe. $ 5.99 to clean up someone else’s 0.50 irresponsible error. So I started to look for baby oil. I told Mary what I was trying to do and she said Goo-​gone gets gum out, but we don’t sell it, one moment. She walks to the back and grabs her own stash of Goo-​gone and let me take it out to my car, use it and bring it back. This world needs more angels like her.

This review was given only 4 stars solely for the pharmacy! The store itself is my favorite Rite Aid by far as I go here almost every day for the past 4 years however, lately the pharmacy clerks have been very rude and careless with how they treat customers. The pharmacists are decent, however the pharmacy techs should be reprimanded or at the very least go to training on how to deal w customers. If someone is coming for medicine they are probably in pain and need assistance, care, understanding and LOTS of patience. I have a torn meniscus and can barely walk, I try to call in my meds to avoid standing and they don’t go out of their way to help. I have been treated with such disrespect and disregard. I am appalled at how rude some of the pharmacy techs are at this location enough for me to complain here let alone to Rite Aid! This is not the only time this had happened and it’s now becoming a consistent issue! I’m not happy with this pharmacy and may have to switch my medicine over! On a happy note I absolutely love this rite aid for everything else! Darin is the night manager and by far Rite Aids best employee. She is kind and goes out of her way to help and make things work for all customers! Thank you Darin cot being Rite Aids best employee.

This particular Rite Aid is so convenient because it is ²⁴⁄₇. A lot of Rite Aids have stopped being ²⁴⁄₇ so on this alone I’m giving it an extra star. Especially because it’s the only Rite Aid I know of that serves ice cream through the entire night!
Inside is a pharmacy open until 11:00PM Monday-​Thursday. Which is really great for those of us who work late and are too exhausted to go out right after dinner.
There’s a huge private parking lot for customers. It’s right next to a strip mall, market, gas station, and yes, even a Starbucks!
The staff inside are all really kind and helpful in anyway they know how.
The pharmacists are really informative and always willing to take the time to help you with your specific case.
There’s no drive thru for the pharmacy.
Bottom Line:
Quality ice cream, even late. Anything from band aids to mascara available to you ²⁴⁄₇ at fair prices. Also really great location of you have a bunch of errands to run.

This Rite Aid store is open 24hrs which is very helpful when you need something in a pinch. Getting sick can happen at any time and usually at the most inopportune time of the day. So I’ve been here at 1am in the morning trying to look for throat lozenges or a throat spray to alleviate the pain. This is my go to spot in the middle of the night since I can count on them being open.
The other times I’ve ever been here is for ice cream. My favorite flavors: chocolate malted crunch, mocha almond fudge and cookies and crème and strawberry. Thrifty ice cream is what I remember when I was a kid. And it still says it on their cups.
I suggest getting the hand scooped pint because it is more bang for your buck.

Pharmacy is THAT bad!
New to the area, thought I’d get my prescriptions transferred from the Rite Aid on Cherry and Broadwayto my new neighborhood by Atlantic. I might just drive all the way back there from now on after the horrible service at this pharmacy.
The woman at the counter is mean. And she will tell you they are out of things to give themselves leeway… not true. Pharmacist told me tree days, she said a week. He was right.
You cannot get through by phone to check on your medication. The message runs a loop over and over until you hang up. When you call the basic store number they can transfer your call and someone will answer but they will leave you, waiting through two 80’s songs and you will hang up and try again.
In my case it was Friday and I was told by my doctor’s office staff that the scripts were phoned in so I drove over and no, they had nothing waiting for me. No call, nothing. I worriedly waited over the weekend and called both places Monday morning. The Rite Aid staff said, no, your Dr. Didn’t call. I called the Dr. And he called it in and I stayed on hold. I got dressed and ready to leave…20 minutes on hold. My Dr. Said he had to call twice but it would be ready in 30 minutes or so. He suggested going to another pharmacy.
Relieved, I went about my day and at 4:00 I went to the rite aid pharmacy to pick up my blood pressure pills, got in line and politely waited. When I saw the girl look through the bags and walk away, my heart sank. It wasn’t ready. At this point I was stern and retold the story for maybe the fifth time. I told her how frustrating it was trying to get something I’d had no problems ever getting before. I asked what the problem was. Why wasn’t it ready in the morning when I waited on hold for my Dr. To phone it in. It should be waiting for me. I shouldn’t need to ask again, in person, for something prescribed to me twice now. She nervously ran over to a pharmacist and came back and told me to sit. I waited while they filled it. It took maybe five minutes! As if it had been ready? Why couldn’t they fill it when the doctor called? Isn’t that the protocol?
At the Cherry store everyone is on a first name basis. They ask you how you are, they smile and care about your ailments, your family. This place on Atlantic is very disorganized and I’m sure people complain all day. They are nervous, frivolous and plain out rude.
If it happens again, I will ask them what their priorities are? How is it run behind the counter because in front of the counter, it’s very orderly. Then, if I have to wait, I will go back to the good people on Cherry.

This review is solely based on Ice Cream purchases.
This rite-​aid location is OK, but falls short of great. When I crave ice cream late night, I go to Rite-​Aid. This location closes the ice-​cream station at weird hours. I believe they close it at 10:30 to 11:30 for cleaning, which I think is really weird. A lot of people are usually here late night trying to purchase ice cream, and usually there is only two workers. The workers do the best they can to serve everyone, but they all look like they hate working here. During one visit, an employee was in a hurry to go home, and when I asked for Ice Cream, he rushed my order and made the experience feel really awkward. Overall an OK Rite-​Aid to get ice cream, but don’t come late-​night, workers are lazy and they seem unwilling to help or serve.

If I could leave zero stars I would. I am suffering from Plantar Fasciitis (arch/​heel pain) and wanted to know what kind of braces, show inserts, etc., they carried. Spoke to 3 different people who barely could speak English. No one could give an answer.

Ice cream !!!
That’s my main reason for coming to rite aid. Can’t beat the deals which is not 2 for $ 6. The customer service is always great and they are so friendly. Parking is plentiful at this location and well lit.
Sometimes you can get lucky and score a buy one get one deal so be on the look out. The ice cream is some of the best around with your usual flavors like rocky road, rainbow sherbet and cookies and cream. They also sell ice cream «accessories «like cones and other toppings like caramel, strawberry and chocolate .
The pharmacy side of things is also nice here and items are plentiful. Every once in a while we have to make a late night stop for whatever medication you may need and this location is open ²⁴⁄₇.

Don’t go to this Rite-​Aid if you use coupons. I’d actually give a 2.5. I had a horrible experience with the Manager.
Here is how it all went down:
I went in a a Sunday, after getting the paper to use up some of the coupons I had before items get sold out during the week. I specific chose items on the ad because spending $ 30 gave back a $ 10 +UP reward. For my $ 30, I spent $ 24 in shampoo (on the ad), and $ 9.99 for a Gillette Razor (not on the ad, but Venus razors were –same company). WELL OVER $ 30 BUT My +UP reward didn’t print/​load2card. So the person ringing me up was confused. So then, he called over someone else to help. This person thought I should buy a Venus razor, since the ad had Venus razors. So i did.
Still didn’t get my $ 10 +UP Reward. Then, he said maybe I should buy the exact razor on the ad. So I did… STILL DIDN’T WORK. However, I kept calm, wasn’t bothered. He told me to come back the next day when the manager was there so he could better assist me.

And that’s what I did. I explained to Tommy the situation and he told me that because I used coupons on my purchase and didn’t actually spend $ 30 out of pocket, is why I do not get +UP reward. Everyone who coupons knows this isn’t true. If that were the case, the bottom of my receipt would not say Buy $ 30 worth of _​_​_​_​get $ 10 +UP, total spent = $ 24. I really only paid $ 12 for my shampoo since it was on sale 2/​$ 6 and I used a $ 3 off 2 coupon.
After a long argument, Tommy stared and the AD and told me that it was because the Gillette razor isn’t a P&G item and I have to buy P&G items. The problem with that is the AD clearly has a box around all of these items, making it seem as if you spend $ 30 on any of these things, you will get a $ 10 +UP. Well I wasn’t going to argue any longer.
So for there I just wanted to return the Venus razor that I purchased but didn’t need and exchange it for more shampoo so that I will get my $ 10 reward. Tommy had assisted me in the exchange. Again, the shampoo was on sale so with my coupon I was only paying like $ 3, and Tommy said it wasn’t enough. I told him that it will work and he said «well fine, alright…»
He asked for my Rite Aid wellness card, which I don’t carry. So we used my phone number instead. When the receipt printed, it said I only paid $ 6/​$ 30. He looked at that the last 4 digits of the Wellness Account Number at the top of the receipt and it didn’t match my other receipt. He asked if I had 2 cards, and I said no. He asked if I had 2 cellphone numbers and I said «No, I only have one phone.» He said in a rude tone «Well now you do!»
This is where Jirius comes in. He tells Tommy that he’ll handle it and Tommy storms off somewhere into the store…
Jirius is a gentleman. Fixed everything, meaning I got my $ 10 +UP reward. He told me I can also go to him for help. If it wasn’t for him, I would of rated this Rite-​Aid a 0.
I’m sorry but it’s managers like that where I don’t understand how they even got that position. Jirius should become manager, hands down. He knows what he’s doing.

Well this is going to be an interesting review!!! So you need to be patient! This location is starting to look as bad as the area! Rite Aid tends to sell product on the cheaper side, and when you do that! What kind of customers do you expect? Now this is a original Thrifty Drug Store, and I have very fond memories here growing up. Now the good part! THRIFTY ICE CREAM!!! Yes they still have it! When I lived there I never knew how lucky I was being able to have Thrifty Ice Cream any time I wanted! Prices are very reasonable, I remember it was only 20 cents a scoop! So with all of the mistakes they make their, and crap items they have, It’s all made up after you purchase you items. Just walk up to the Ice Cream booth and get your self a scoop!

A completely fine Rite Aid with a little bit of a retro feel. They have everything here, you will find what you need! The layout of the store can be a little confusing but the staff are always willing to help. Open 24 hours, but only through the door on the parking lot side — the Atlantic side door closes at 7pm — don’t be duped!

Oooopppssss! I thought they had a couple of law suits for selling expired products… Apparently, it had no effect on their procedures.
I stopped and bought allergy eyedrops, Zaditor. I got home and quickly discovered it was 5 ½ months expired. They took it back with no problem… But it should never happen.
If you shop at Rite Aid! Make sure to check the expiration dates.

Cool store. Nothing much to say. They have a nice women’s fragrances section.

When I could barely talk, I still managed to whisper two simple words: Rite Aid. Because even though there are about 20 drugstores within a few mile radius of home (ok, I may be exaggerating a little), at 1:00am, I know this place is open.
I am happy to say that the shopping center this Rite Aid is located in has received a face lift! It wasn’t terrible before, but it’s a lot nicer now.
It’s still open 24 hours, which I love because although I was the one driving there in the middle of the night in the past, this time my wife was kind enough to drive there for me for some throat spray.
Lots of parking, two entrances, and it has almost anything you would need in the middle of the night! Booze, snacks, medicine, first aid, you name it!
My throat is still killing me, but I’m happy to know there is a place open 24 hours if I need it (and I have a wife who is willing to go get it for me)!
:) By the way, have you ever tried to pantomime throat spray? It’s pretty easy to do. But try pantomiming Rite Aid. Not so easy. Luckily it’s a short name!

Funny how Fran wrote about this Rite Aid having «hair products and all sorts of „girl stuff“ for the girlfriend…» because today, I came to buy HIM hair gel, just so he could reject it because it wasn’t the «right hold» he likes for his «do.» But huge kudos to the clerk for making the exchange, like swapping spit, quick and easy! (g-​damn, i’m a wonderful girlfriend, no?)
Anyway. I’ll proceed with my review.
It’s funny how it’s the small, simple things in life that make me truly happy and I realized this as I walked in to Rite Aid, quite effortlessly. You see, I’m a huge clutz, so the fact that they have automatic sensor doors makes life just a little easier for me, as I usually «Pull» instead of «Push» the door and vice versa, taking me 10 – 20 seconds longer to walk in to any store. But like I said, today, I walked in to Rite Aid quite effortlessly and I’ll even add, quite gracefully (this NEVER happens).
The next thing that made me happy was the fact that it’s much cheaper than CVS. Sure Rite Aid products have a layer or two of dirt, but it’s nothing a boyfriend’s sweater can’t clean off (that’s for making me return the hair gel).
Additionally, they have nylon knee highs in the little, round, plastic thingys that we used to get our little $ 0.25 cent toys in from the toy machines at the grocery store. You know what I’m talking about? Well, Rite Aid has said nylons for 2/​$ 1.00. That makes me incredibly happy as I am always in need of those suckers and the fact that they are as cheap as they are at Rite Aid, I don’t care if I make holes in them or lose them to the laundry monster thief (how does one lose ONE sock or nylon?).
And lastly, I really like this Rite Aid because it’s open 24 hrs, which totally enables us to go for junk food runs at all hours of the night.
