He ruined the memories of our half a million dollar wedding.
In our dealings with Samuel Lippke, we found him to be dishonest, cheap, boorish, argumentative and quit unprofessional.
It took him 9 months to get our pictures to us after a series of disappointments and threats of legal action by us. The photos he snapped of our wedding needed to be digitally edited so to be suitable to appear in our album. Frankly, our friends and family took higher quality photos with their phones compared to what we paid for.
Samuel Lippke also failed to cover certain memorable/​necessary moments that are captured by every «professional» photographer at any wedding. When confronted with this fact Sam Lippke blamed everyone else, but himself and was simply unapologetic.
Lippke was rude and unwilling to accept responsibility for his failure to take professional quality photos at our event.
To Sum it Up, my spouse and I, as well as our respective families are very disappointed by the lack of professionalism he portrayed and the quality, or lack thereof, product he presented to us.
I’m completely disappointed and hope no one has to experience what we did with Samuel Lippke.

pure… genius. Stop looking; it just does not get better that Samuel. His eye is unmatched; his style is impeccable. He puts his heart into every shot and it comes through in every image I have ever seen from him.

Samuel Lippke is truly an AMAZING photographer. I knew I wanted something different when shopping for our wedding photography and when I found Samuel’s wedding pictures, I immediately knew, I just had to book him! Unlike boring, stiff posed pictures, his pictures were very real, natural, and provided a unique perspective. The trendy term for his photography style is «photojournalism” — the pictures are alive and tell a story. Samuel is one of the best wedding photojournalists and talented one at that– he can really use natural light and his photography skills to generate a genuine art from your big day.
On our wedding day, Samuel made us feel comfortable and at ease– toward the end of our event, we didn’t even notice him taking his shots! He was so stealth and quick! Then, everyone was absolutely amazed at the photos from the wedding slideshow that he has put up for our viewing pleasure toward the end of the event (with his same day edits). They were really cool! Everyone kept asking for pictures right after we came back from our honeymoon. A couple weeks after our big day, he sent us a beautiful wedding slideshow that included even more pictures along with some really nice, romantic music selections. I think I watched it at least a dozen times on that day! We are going to have a very hard time picking which ones should go into our album… we just like too many of them!
With that said, if you’re shopping for a photographer for your big day, do your research and pick a good one. Definitely do your homework and pick the best you can afford! I truly believe that wedding photographer is the single most important vendor that you’ll need for your big day… Our wedding day passed by so fast and pictures are the only way we will remember it… we are so glad we got to know Samuel and even my now-​husband agrees with me! :)
