Literally a better hair cut than any of the other hipster barbershops in LB for half the price! Seng is very meticulous and checked in the whole time to ensure I was happy. Excellent service, my new shop.

My barber moved out of town so I’ve been searching for a new one that I liked for the past 3 weeks to no avail. Had some time on my day off so I decided to check this place out. Walked in and was kindly greeted by both Seng and Sofia. My barber today was Seng and she did an amazing job. She was extremely attentive and asked me what I wanted every step of the way. Got a clean fade and a razor sharp line-​up. I looked over at Sofia’s customer and the cut she was giving the guy looked very clean as well.
Hassle free experience, excellent price and friendly barbers; looks like I found my new barber shop! Check them out, you wont regret it.

I’ve been going here for a year and a half and I love Seng and her haircuts. She’s very friendly and funny and the price right. I should probably tip her more. I’ve never had a problem getting seated (I usually go at 4ish after work)

I’m glad I scrolled down all their reviews and read people’s honesty. My boyfriend now loves to get his haircut here and I’m so happy, finding a great barbershop with reasonable prices is so hard nowadays. TL;DR — Beats most, if not every, barbershop in the Bay Area. Very attentive to detail. If I stop in Long Beach ever again, I will definitely be back here!
I needed a quick haircut before heading back home to Oakland to end my Winter Break. Did some Unilocal searches and this shop turned up. Thank god it was open on New Year’s Eve of all days!
Walked in and was immediately attended to by Seng herself. She was very nice, simply put. Had a meaningful conversation with her while she cut my hair. Also very attentive to detail so I got the perfect new style for the new year!

Usually drive out to Pedro for my cut but they are not very loyal. Found this barbershop on Unilocal and checked it out. Walk in only so that’s a good or bad depends on how you look at it.
Cut was pretty good and Seng and Silvia really cater to you as the customer. Ask you every step of the way if you like it and if you want anything changed. Def would recommend this place to Fellow locals.

I brought my son about a month ago for a hair cut and we both agreed it came out really nice. My man liked my sons cut so much he came on another day for a hair cut as well. Now all three of us are here for father and son hair cuts. The two ladies working here are very nice and they actually cut your hair the way you ask them to! Both my boys leave feeling fresh and handsome. They have toys for kids to play with, nice breeze coming in the shop, and a pet parrot.

After reading the reviews of Sengs, I decided to give them a try.
My first impression of the place was underwhelming. The location is great but, parking can be challenging. Inside of the barbershop is also underwhelming. Mismatched furniture, very basic not your trendy, cool «Barbershop» experience. No bells or whistles at all. The place is clean and staff are very friendly.
Sophia cut my hair. She is very sweet, professional, takes her time and does a great job! I’ve been back 3 times and so far i’m happy with her cuts. I’ll continue to go back as long as I’m walking out of there with a smile.

my regular barber was on vacation, so I gave Sophia a try since I was in the area. She gave me a great fade, and was very friendly. Great hair cut at a great price!

I decided to try out this location awhile back and I enjoyed the experience so much, that now, I don’t think of going anywhere else. Seng, the proprietor of this establishment takes her time to give you the haircut you want. She doesn’t rush and I like that. She has since, remembered my name and welcomes me every time with, «Hi Erick, I’ll be with you in a little bit.»
She always asks how I’m doing and what’s new with me. I feel so relaxed with her that I typically doze off mid-​haircut. If you come in and she has clients ahead of you, she will call you when he chair is available. That shows how much she appreciates her clients. I come here twice a month now and always leave feeling fresh and clean. She also had a lot of random paintings and decorations on the walls that keep you entertained. I especially like the metallic green peacock.

Sofia did a great job. She took her time with my fade and I love it. I’m from out of town so the reviews on here were a big help in finding this place. Thanks Unilocal

I walked in at 4:30PM without an appointment, and Seng seated me right away. Although it states the shop closes at 5PM, she took her time and walked me through every process to make sure I was aware of everything she was doing. I am by no means a difficult customer, but she wanted to be satisfied with her work and kept handing me the mirror to assure my sides and back were even. Typically, my hair cuts take 15 minutes since it’s really short, but for her to treat my hair with such great care, precision and compassion made me realize this is the service I should have been receiving all along. She only charged me $ 13 but I gave her $ 20, although i do feel she deserves more. (The other shop I called close by wanted to charge me $ 35 for being a woman despite my request for a simple fade.) I’m happy to have found a new stylist who cares about her work and her clients! It’s also a plus she’s in my neighborhood.

Seng is the best at her craft. She’s very personable and will make you feel very comfortable in her chair. She has a great memory for names and how you like your hair styled — now that’s impressive! Sometimes I just stop in to say hi!
