Shin Rho’s Tae Kwon DO

I go to Shin Rho’s Tae Kwon Do at his La Habra location. Master Shin Rho or Master Hong and Master John teach the family class on Friday nights. My husband, my 4yo daughter, and I have a ton of fun as a family and get lots of exercise. I don’t know how they think of karate moves and exercises to do for BOTH the kids and adults… but the teachers do! We kick, punch, duck our way into fitness. Plus, they frequently change up the karate «games» to make things more entertaining… For example, sometimes, Master Hong takes a pool foam «noodle» and swipes at the kids feet. The kids have to jump over the foam «noodle» as everyone runs around the room before the «noodle» hits them). It’s organized fun and a great way for children to learn manners (ie. taking turns) and how to listen/​follow directions.
