History

Established in 2014.

Stand Up Paddle (SUP) is a super fun and increasingly popular low-impact activity that can be done on any body of water. When done properly, SUP is a great TOTAL BODY workout that engages the muscles of the legs and glutes while specifically targeting core and upper body strength.

At Skudin Surf Stand Up Paddle, we deliver all of our SUP tours on the flat water of Reynold’s Channel, also known as «the Bay,» located in between Long Beach and Island Park.

Meet the Manager

Jen H.

Manager

Jennifer Hanono is joined Skudin Surf schools this summer to pioneer their newest venture: Stand Up Paddle (SUP) on the Bay in Long Beach. She is a bright addition to the Skudin Surf staff, with an infectious enthusiasm for life and an easy-going, smiley personality to go with it. Jen will be infusing her own twist to the water sport this summer by offering a SUP core work-out class, in addition to the widely popular SUP yoga. She will also be offering beginner SUP lessons, a SUP Meet Up group for more experienced paddlers, and a Sunset Paddle on Saturday evenings.

This girl is a free spirited, water loving yogi whose biggest passions include traveling the world and spending time outdoors, preferably in the ocean.

It was in Hawaii that she first started experimenting with yoga poses on paddleboards. It was the perfect combination of two of the things she loved most, and has ran with it ever since.
