Sun Elite Tan

First of all Sun Elite Tan is by far the best tanning salon I’ve ever been too. Incredible beds and service.
I went to this tanning place on Broadway called Endless Summer Tan for 6 weeks straight and got no tan at all. The owner is a terrible person and their beds are cheap.

Best place to tan at! I love the manager Angielyn ! She is funny and has wonderful customer service. This tanning salon blows all the other tanning salons out of the water ! I wouldn’t recommend going anywhere but here ! The beds are amazing and will get you the perfect tan. If you like to spray tan then this is the perfect place for you. Most people are nervous about spray tans because they believe they will be orange, however the spray tan here was the perfect shade of brown and there are no streaks !!! If you are thinking of going anywhere but here… don’t have those thoughts !

I had Angeline do my spray tan and I used a Unilocal promo. My advice is take advantage. She’s very professional and easy to talk to. She is knowledgable and knows what she’s doing. I will be back again to prep for another event. It’s great to have a healthy glow.

I come here for the airbrush spray tan even though it’s more expensive than other places. Angeline is an expert at what she does. I’m in and out within 15 minutes and I’ve always loved the results. It can be very uncomfortable being undressed in front of a total stranger, but she is such a professional and this puts me at ease. I don’t know if I would continue to pay these prices if Angeline wasn’t the one applying the spray tan. She’s amazing at what she does! I hope they pay her what she’s worth so she never leaves!

Love this place’s spray tans, best I have gotten yet :) would def recommend to anyone who is looking for a place for the summer

Wow! I was really impressed with this salon. I’ve been tanning for a long long long time… I even worked in several salons in my early days. Angeline was the rep that gave me a walk through and plan description. She was wonderful and explained everything in detail. not pushy at all. I went ahead and signed up for the monthly EFT plan… so last night was my first tan.
I salon is super clean… the beds are clean… water in each room. classy. They will keep your lotion for you… knowledgeable staff… go after 5PM. you can park in the banks lot, otherwise limited to meters and street.
I tanned in the Sun Angel… VERY impressed. Def a new rodeo in this salon. Couldn’t believe the color in one session… but I tan very easily. I plan on going tonight to try out a diff bed. Will update my review.
Go there… Oh, the Unilocal deal cannot be used with the monthly EFT. but you can use it towards lotion or buy as a gift for someone else…

its unreal that you open at 9 am, and at 9 am you than put a sign in the window saying closed for a spray tan? What kind of business does that??? not once but 2 times in a week

My first spray tan ever for my first trip to Greece & Turkey. BJ was super nice and made me feel at ease, much to the opposite of her «too cool for school» coworker who was at the counter at my exit. I’m so glad I had BJ. This isn’t about her customer service skills it’s about the product. Anyways, I exfoliated twice and didn’t lotion. I was following everything I read online bc I wanted to look tan and gorgeous. Once there I bought the tan extender since I’d be in the water (I wasn’t as much as planned) and went ahead w the color, etc. I didn’t shower for 11 hours even tho I REALLY REALLY wanted to and yet, 4 days into my trip the tan way gone. GONE! I’m so disappointed, and I have a credit for another spray tan since they were having a buy 1 get one half off and since BJ was so stellar and assured me it would last 7 – 10 days and possibly longer since I paid $ 12 for the tan extender I bought another tan. I wish I hadn’t. After $ 96 dollars and a 4 day tan, I’m pretty doubtful I’d go back and I know I won’t ever recommend this place to anyone. I’d really like a refund but I don’t know if that’s an option.
Side note, I took a bottle of banana boat tan in a can for the end of my trip when the expensive tan wore off and I ended up using it day 6 and it lasted until I got home aaaand another week. Avoid the expensive stuff here and go buy a bottle of spray tan and do it yourself.

Looooove this place! I have definitely found my new tanning spot. I used to get spray tanned but had a bad experience so I wanted to switch to the beds. When I came in I saw they had the standing tan bed and was so excited. I get really claustrophobic in the normal ones! I got to play my music while tanning & got this awesome lotion that enhanced my tan. Expensive but totally worth it. They even let you leave your lotion there and label it with your name! So awesome!

The staff here is always super friendly! I’ve never had to wait for a bed, it’s clean, good parking and strong bulbs! Love it :-)

By far the BEST tanning salon in Long Beach! The best customer service, the best beds you can find and the best tan ever!!! I LOVE this place!

This place is great and the staff is always really helpful. Nothing’s better than a day in the sun but when work won’t allow that, Sun Elite Tan is my go-​to spot

Everyone who works here is great! Very friendly and personable. I’ve come here for 2 years and their deals are great. They have specials all the time, and their beds are great. Lots of different selections and they are always clean! I highly recommend this place!

I always come to Sun Elite Tan when Im preparing for a vacation and/​or wedding. They have such friendly staff, great beds to choose from and they’re always clean and well maintenanced. I highly recommend S.E.T.

When the sun doesn’t come out yes, I resort to tanning :) shhhh don’t tell anyone lol
I’m picky when it comes to everything… even the place I go tanning.
I’ve been coming here now for about 2 years. My boyfriend at the time found this place (in passing) and knowing how much I love being bronze, told me about it.
I’m so glad he did!
They have a ton of price and package options. I opt for the Unlimited package which consists of Unlimited Usage in Any Bed of your choice for $ 99.00/month. Granted I could probably down grade the package or buy some individual sessions considering I only go about 4 times per month using only the Open Sun bed.
Though this place can be a little more than the other local spots, it’s well worth it.
Every time I have walked through the door, it’s always clean, put together. Every bed greets you with a fresh towel, eye goggles and a little mini water bottle, which is a great touch!
I have tried the following beds:
Open Sun: This is my favorite one in the shop and yes I think the most expensive of the options. It’s great is your a little claustrophobic like me :) haha It’s very Open and Airy but not only that it’s a high pressure bed that has a max of 12 mins. Such a powerful bed that I only need about half that time. It saves me a bunch of time which I love.
Inspiration: This one I believe is a low pressure bed. I will use this one if the open sun is in use and I’m in a hurry. This one does takes a bit longer and doesn’t give me as much of a golden tan as I like but it will do when in a pinch.
The Stand Up: Actually turned out to be a lot better than what I thought. This is actually my #2 option should the Open Sun be occupied. It’s just awkward to be standing for 12 minutes just kind of hanging out in there lol
Sun Angel: Okay, that’s not fair of me. I’ve never actually used this bed for a full session. I lasted all of about 2 minutes then got out because I wasn’t getting the tan I was expecting and hoping for… maybe I used the machine wrong? It has you scan different areas of your body to check on the color then adjust the machine to even you out. I’m pretty sure that’s the way it works lol either way I gave up.
Spray Tan: This is actually done by one of their technicians not a machine! Awesome. It was even and I was happy with the results but as with any spray tan my sheets paid the price haha
Lastly, the customer service is good and a couple of the girls are just awesome beyond words! Angeline, the manager is always accommodating and helpful. She has gone out of her way for me a few times and it’s greatly appreciated!

This is by far one of the best tanning salons! Whether you prefer a tanning bed, stand-​up or spray tan — this is the place to go! It’s very clean & they play great music & most importantly — you will get a great tan no matter what you choose. The lovely ladies that work at the desk are very friendly and knowledgeable. Look no further — get your ‘healthy glow’ at Sun Elite!

Love this place! Lots of options for beds. I use the sun dash one & I love it. everyone is really nice. its always very clean. I rarely have to wait either. yay for tanning!

I’ve been to quite a few tanning salons in my lifetime… and I even reviewed my absolute favorite one, but I have to admit this location is a close second. I like how close in proximity it is from my house, which is why I decided to try out this location.
I signed up for the $ 45/​one month unlimited tanning, which includes only one kind of tanning bed. Downfall, there’s only one tanning bed. So, sometimes, there’s a wait. They have options for $ 129/​one month or $ 99/​each month for three months, and those plans include any bed. I think that’s what I’ll sign up for next time, so I have more options of tanning beds. They provide a towel, eye protection, and water while you are tanning. They even have a place for you to store your lotion, so you don’t have to carry it with you.
The staff is very friendly and informative. They know much about tanning and lotions and care — if you have any questions.
Overall, I would recommend this place to those who love a good tan, and I will continue to go to Sun Elite Tan to maintain my lovely, summer color!
