The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf

Drop by on a cold afternoon for a Latte. First time at this location… Latte was prepared great. Taste was 5-​stars however took off a star due to my wait while they went over their schedule. At least keeping working while talking!

Simply put, I’ve had much better experiences at other CBTL locations. They were training a new barista on my last visit and a note to the store manager… You shouldn’t count the gal on her first day (I hope it was her first day because she was completely lost) when staffing. The line got out of control because the new gal didn’t know how to ring up anything. The line got more out of control when they switched her to the cold bar because she couldn’t handle the register. She was equally clueless at the cold bar.
This location is super tiny… There is a nice area to sit outside, but you still have to be inside the store to order and wait endlessly. If you suffer from Claustrophobia, avoid this location at all cost.

Not the friendliest batista’s I’ve encountered, but they’re fast and know how to make drinks!
Plus, there’s almost always good people watching opportunities out front.
Free parking and WiFi. Score!

Ok. Really tiny store but there is a nice outdoor seating as week. Overall the servers were ok and my experience was good.
I had the Black Iced tea and I had to have the Krispy Kreme Pumpkin Spice donut and the barista offered to warm it. It was good. Halved it with a friend. Highly recommended probably seasonal so jump on it !

I guess arriving 15 minutes before closing last night makes for unhappy employees. Drinks were fine though.

Coffee Bean is my favorite, this store especially. Always very friendly, quick and clean. Love em!!!

I’m never in this area of town, but was visiting with a friend and kinda stumbled on to this shop. I visit coffee shops everyday, including many coffee beans, but felt the need to review this one. Everyone working was genuinely in a delightful mood, the coffee was perfect, and the store super cozy. Adan was rad by telling us some upcoming specials and promotions. Including an awesome deal on merchandise on Black Friday. I think it’s worth a trip across town to visit them again.

Wow, what a great friendly staff EVERYTIME I go there the people are great. It is my favorite coffee go to spot. Love the market place but the parking… oh well you know

I can’t review the actual service I got or the coffee I bought because…
I went in last night to get some coffee before going to the movies. The door was wide open but upon entering, the the girl working behind the counter told us there were closed. That was at 6:15pm. As I left, wondering why the door was wide open if they were closed, I saw the open sign in the window listing their hours as being open until 7pm. The next day, just to make sure I didn’t read the sign wrong, I went to the center’s web site, looked up the hours there, and they’re listed as being open until 8pm. So their hours are a mystery.

I am a coffee fan and I normally love CBTL but this location always gets my order wrong! The staff is all chatty with each other and doesn’t listen when you order and when my drink is done it’s never want I asked for… Love the location I just wish I could depend on it not to bum me out!

I have always loved good espressos, lattes and great atmosphere and service. All are here. Shift manager Adam was particularly attentive and made sure I had the perfect Dark Chocolate Latte! I love the friendliness of the staff and the outdoor eating area. Keep it up, guys.

Very nice selection of teas & coffees, reasonable pricing, ambiance, staff & efficiency as opposed to what I’ve encountered at most Starbucks with barristas looking like an assembly line of zombies making Snicker-​Doodles with the affect of someone on too much Prozac!
This was my first Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf experience and, I was Gobsmacked at just how unique, special and welcoming this location is; if this is the trend for ALL of their locations, I’m keeping this a top 5 stop in place for sure!

Marty, me & my Mom stopped here for some Peppermint Tea after our lunch visit at McKenna’s on the Bay this past Thanksgiving week end 2012.
One, peppermint tea is good for digestion and two, it helped ease my shock at the prices that McKenna’s charged for lunch fare too.
Much, much less utilitarian than Starbucks and many other chains or independent joints too.
The barristas genuinely show they are enjoying their vocational choice of employment here and smiles & courtesy that lack the phony baloney attitudes that come from pre shift pep talk meetings goes a long way with me.
Mom, likes her Chai Tea with Soy Milk and prepared a special way, and not one ounce of a look of [ Oh geez ], no, «My pleasure lovely Lady, how about some freshly made whipped cream with that, on me-​no charge?»
Now that is a first, nice to see people respect one another without pretentious, phony or condescending responses; too, it made my Mom smile, which makes me smile!
Our beverages were very good, we opted to sit outside, where there is ample seating.
This is to be expected that seating inside is limited and even still outside too as most people are on the go with their caffeinated beverages or the like.
Plain & simple, I’m now a fan, I may not be back for some time as I prefer to prepare my own teas & coffees from my selections at home, but to treat yourself and spend time with two people I love very much, once & a while is a nice way to end the day and The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf did just that for the three fo us.

I ran over to Coffee Bean to get coffee for my friend and me (since the Veggie Grill where we were eating dinner next door doesn’t serve it). The two guys working the counter, Hunter and Scott were super helpful and friendly, Even though CBTL coffee is not strong enough for my personal tastes (I’m a fan of French Roast), the service makes me want to go back. And they were both decked out with clever and colorful hats for the holidays (Hunter was in green and Scott had on red). You guys made my evening!

Service was fast, Americano was tasty. Husband hated his brewed coffee, and I thought it smelled funny. Lesson? Order Americano, not brewed coffee at this location.

5 stars for staff and drinks. Minus one star ‘cos they only have a few tables for seating outside. Nothing inside ‘cos the place is tiny. Coffee bean is my favorite coffee chain. Best dark chocolate and mocha lattes since they have the best cocoa powders. Staff here is really friendly and fast. Love getting a hot dark choc latte here and then making my rounds at Trader Joe’s and Bevmo in the same complex.

Ordered a Café Latte for Rick and it had a coco flavor. What’s that about? My Chai Tea Latte was so bland. I guess you just can’t replace Starbucks.

I love the bean! I’m not a coffee drinker but the tea lattes are outstanding. Don’t know why they don’t have brewed iced tea though!

I like this Coffee Bean because, although it’s small inside, there are plenty of tables and chairs outside. It faces the Trader Joe’s and parking lot so you can see the LB yuppies come and go.
Plus, free wifi and next door to a Golden Spoon.
