The Law Office of John T. Anderson is truly a family practice. Attorney Erin M. Protzmann and Attorney Lisa R. Norman are Mr. Anderson’s daughters and have worked at The Law Office of John T. Anderson since they were in high school. John T. Anderson, Jr. is Mr. Anderson’s son and is currently in Law School at Western State University College of Law in Fullerton, CA. When not studying, John Jr. works as a Law Clerk at our office.

Mr. Anderson earned his Juris Doctorate from Southwestern University School of Law in Los Angeles, California in 1975 and has been practicing law ever since. Mr. Anderson began his legal career working for himself in an office space provided by his two mentors, retired Judge James W. Edson, and retired Judge James P. Zarifes.

Mr. Anderson is certified by the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization as a specialist in Estate Planning, Trust and Probate Law. In 2007, the Long Beach Bar Association named Mr. Anderson «Lawyer of the Year» in recognition of his outstanding reputation and many years of service in the community. In addition, since the mid-​1980s, Mr. Anderson has served as Chairman of the Estate Planning and Probate Section of the Long Beach Bar Association.
