History

Established in 2010.

As a former teacher and counselor, Dupé Aleru founded Tutors for Tots Tweens & Teens LLC to be more than a tutoring service. She also wanted to offer counseling, special education, and other resources, so that whether students needed one-​on-​one tutoring, special-​education services, or help preparing for tests, they could find it all in one place. Today, using a developmental approach, her team of qualified teachers helps students in grades Pre K-​12 stay engaged and rise to each challenge, whether they’re learning reading skills or applying to college.

In 2010, I was laid off as an elementary school teacher with LBUSD. From the devastation, I found comfort knowing that I had a new beginning to teach on a larger scale. I accepted a position at The Beverly Hills Courier Newspaper as an education reporter. After building the education section from the ground up and much success, I decided to launch my own company, Tutors for Tots, Tweens & Teens LLC. Offering educational services to students in our community has been a blessing and humbling experience. I hope to continue offering our services for many years to come.
