Twig & Willow is an award winning boutique that specializes in a California casual lifestyle with a simple, comfortable but bohemian approach to women’s fashion. We curate only the most unique products and handmade giftables and we’re famous for our amazing jewelry collections, made by over 60 local artisans. We carry the most adorable baby and children’s clothing and gifts and thoughtful Men’s accessories, gifts, clothing and apothecary products. Embellish each gift with handmade or letterpress stationary and shop a wide assortment of leather and vegan handbags, fashion accessories and rare apothecary items and cult fragrances. We’ve got something for everyone! We really do!

Bixby Knolls Location founded Nov. 2016

This first-of-it’s-kind boutique opened it’s doors for business Nov.7^th, 2009. Owner/​partner Karen Quimby owned and operated Ambiance, a still successful boutique in San Francisco, and dove back into the boutique business after a 15 year career in the cosmetic industry. She created beauty products for some of the biggest cult beauty brands. Her partner Billie Gentry joined her, stepping away from a long career in advertising, managing some of the largest media budgets for luxury brands. The two came together to develop a business that would bring them closer to a community they love. With a keen eye for aesthetics & fashion and a sharp mind for business, this partnership is unstoppable.

After 6 successful years, the duo opened their 2^nd location in Bixby Knolls, another coveted neighborhood in Long Beach. They hold numerous awards in LA and LB as the «Best Boutique» & «Best Jewelry & Gift» boutique.

Business Owner

First friends and neighbors, now business partners Karen Quimby Lobo (veteran product designer and business owner in the beauty industry) and Billie Gentry (marketing & advertising guru) created twig & willow.

Karen (aka shop-​a-​holic) handles all the buying, merchandising, copywriting and creative while Billie (aka. the penny pincher) works to keep the business financially on track, managing the staff and all operational aspects. We feel blessed with an amazing staff of local women and feel truly honored to be a contributing part of a thriving community and now the world thru the online shop.
