I usually go here because it is so close to my house and it’s convenient. I just went last Saturday June 4 to get some help in CLOSING my account and reopening a new one. Not only did the banker attempt to help but so did his manager and that one blonde lady who overseas them. All three of them still managed to mess everything up. They made it to where its a lost/​stolen acc so the «new acc» was linked to the new one, allowing automatic payments to go through. Whichbi did NOT want. I was there for 1 ½ and I asked them so many times are you guys sure the account is closed and they assured me it was. A week later my acc goes neg 527 dollars. Wth!!! When I call back one of the person who helped me did nothing to fix it. Thankfully where I work at is a parent whose daughter my sister has in her class. Alicia overseas a couple of WellsFargo and she got 3 young men to help me Chris, Peter and Edward and they fixed ALL of the previous banker, manager and assistant manager mistake. These other 3 individuals at this branch did not understand my situation, even though I explained it several times. I would not recommend this branch at all. If I could give it negative stars I would. 3 people and not one did what I asked so I lost 457 dollars. Thanks to Alicia, Edward, Peter and Chris I was correctly informed and given the help I first needed.

One of the slowest and worst wells fargo banks, all the clerks are not trained well, no respect for any of the customers, do not recommend to anyone

Worst bank in the world takes an hour to cash a check. Look at the reviews there all true… Do not go in if your in a rush.

The worse branch!!! The customer service is OK but they just never follow through with what they’re trying to follow through with for the customer.

Came in with my daughter to cash some coins from her piggie bank, and they handed us roller papers to put the coins in! Really a bank doesn’t have a coin sorter! What kind of bank doesn’t have a coin sorter? I’m so over this bank!

Don’t go inside unless you absolutely need to. Poor slow #customerservice.
If you don’t have an account, they try to sell you one.
If someone that has an account here writes you a check and you don’t have an account here, they make you wait and try to sell you one hard.
Didn’t our tax #sacrifices bail these guys out?

I have been waiting for over 30 minutes to see a banker because I was given misinformation by a teller and then a manager over the phone last week which caused me to receive a bank fee. I was told that the manager would be out to talk to me yet no one has helped me. Finally spoke to assistant manager. She was very helpful.

Horrible service! Worst bank ever! Don’t ever come here. Go to the one on willow and cherry or willow and pacific.

Great Drive thru ATM! Always available quick and easy! This is my go to drive thru wouldn’t go anywhere else!

The location is easy to find, but the customer service people are really rude. Every time you call 1 – 800 number they always try to sell you something. Don’t waste your time here.

Not sure why this place has such a low rating. The employees were nice and I got in and out super fast.
The banker who helped me … Angela I think … or Angel maybe? Anyway, she was super nice. Everyone was really into how my day was going … like I was really interesting … which I totally am, but usually people don’t get that right away: P
So a solid 3 stars from me. I would go back to this branch for sure.

I have banked here at this branch for almost 10 years. However, lately, the service has gotten so terrible that I honestly DO NOT TRUST them with my money. At all. And on top of everything, they can be rude about it as well.
Today was the day that I decided I will not be returning to this branch. I went in to deposit multiple savings bonds that had matured. When I approached the teller and she saw what I had in my hand, she said «ugh great.». When I asked if there was a problem, she said «this is not good.» At this point I thought I had a problem with the savings bonds. I asked her if anything was wrong, and she said «nothings wrong, its just a lot of work to deposit these»… Isn’t that her job?
Furthermore, once she printed my deposit receipt for tax purposes, my name was spelled wrong! Literally. My first name. Not hard to spell. I mentioned it to her and she brushed it off like it was no big deal. Ive banked with Wells Fargo for a long time, please have the respect to spell my name correctly.
About a week prior, another member of my family had gone into this same branch to make a deposit. When they checked their account the following day, they noticed that the deposit showed considerably more than it should have been. When the branch finally looked into it, they determined the teller had not only made her deposit, but also deposited the money from the person behind them in line!
I would consider switching banks, but I have been with Wells Fargo for my entire life. I will, however, be frequenting a different branch.

this place is disgusting! the complete customer service doesn’t seem to exist in that shithole… all the employees are stupid and must me fired and replaced immediately, including the manager who’s in my opinion should understand at least a lil bit in banking!! please save yourself ur time and nerves and avoid this place it doesn’t worth it at all!

This location took way to long to cash my check!!! They spent 45 min trying to verify the check and 15 mins trying to get me to open an account. I should of went to check cashing place. This location is ridiculous. I will never ever come back

I took time off from work to care for my mother. My two checking accounts (one business, one personal) were continuing to accrue fees each month ($ 25), so on two separate occasions I went into this branch to see what I could do (money going out, nothing coming in). Each time I was given the runaround, and they tried to sell me something, INCREASE fees. On the second visit I said, I’ll just have to close my accounts. The banker said, we no longer offer THESE kinds of accounts (whatever that meant, I’d had them for many years), but I could open different [free] accounts for you, it’s involved, will take some time, I’d have to come back, fill out paperwork, verifications would have to be done, yada yada, and basically stonewalled (and confused) me.
As you know, it’s a bear when you have your bank accounts listed with online retailers and services, so complicated. But I opened accounts with ALLY bank (it was easy, and no monthly fees, customer-​centric in the extreme– RECOMMENDED), writing checks to them to transfer the money from my Wells Fargo accounts (you can send check images from your phone or online), and then went back in to close the accounts, once and for all, determined NOT TO LEAVE UNTIL THEY DID SO.
BTW, my brother had a similar experience, had heard if you zero out your accounts, they close automatically (NOT SO). To his great dismay, Wells Fargo kept the accounts open, and in a feeding frenzy, assessed penalties, by the time he got wind of it the «overdrafts» were in the hundreds of dollars, had gone onto his credit report (still there, even after he paid them off). I wanted to avoid anything like that.
When I went into this branch to close the accounts (yesterday), the banker I talked to looked at my accounts and said «This makes no sense, since your mortgage is with us your checking accounts should have been free! I can change that for you.» Years and years of monthly charges, we’re talking about. And the bankers I talked to on the previous two visits will have known that too. Anyway, there was no offer to refund anything and I closed the accounts, period. I got a receipt stating the accounts were closed with zero balances.
If you bank here, be VERY careful, WARY. Have your ducks in a row before you call or go in, don’t allow them to stonewall you or sell you something you don’t want. Priority One seems to be to increase their revenue however possible, your best interests IRRELEVANT.

My office has a business account here after we closed our Bank of America account.
I have heard good things from my sister about this location (she banks here.)
I have been in three times now and I am very happy with their service. I have been helped immediately and greeted as soon as I walked in the door. There has been at least one merchant teller (Sometimes two)
The only complaint I have was from my second visit. I got there at 8:55 and waited outside with others for them to open at 9:00 a.m. They didn’t! We waited and waited and waited! There are two entrances and when they finally opened the door for the Atlantic entrance almost 10 people were already inside and in line.
I don’t remember hearing an apology either.
Also, they seem to have a lot of internal drama between the staff. I observed a manager yelling at a supervisor over the phone from her office where the door was open. She even came back where the tellers are and have him dirty looks and seemed very annoyed by him. It’s good for some entertainment while waiting in line but doesn’t look good for the staff!
So… Bottom line: this location is great! But come around after 9:00a.m. So you’re not waiting around outside.

The customer service is HORRIBLE at this branch. Do not go here!
On February 19, 2014 I called this branch of Wells Fargo to speak with a Service Manager, to find out how to cash a cashiers check issued by Wells Fargo for a large amount. After I had been on hold for 30 minutes, I spoke with Charlene over the telephone and explained that I wanted to cash a Cashiers Check issued to me by Wells Fargo. I also explained that I had cancelled my account with Wells Fargo earlier this year and she assured me that if I brought 2 forms of ID as well as paid a service fee of $ 7.50, it would be no problem. She also mentioned that it would take 3 days to order the funds, which I agreed with, but I would have to call the next business day to set things in motion. Later that day, I stopped by the bank and inquired why I had to wait 24 hours to order the funds. Charlene was clearly annoyed and stated matter of fact that I was to late in the day and I needed to call back in the morning to order funds. Ok, I called the next day February 20, 2014 at 9 a.m. and after another 30 minutes, was able to order the funds through a service manager named Isaac. Isaac informed me that the funds would be available on February 24, 2014 after 12 p.m. I explained to Isaac that I wasn’t an account holder and he assured me everything would be fine just as Charlene had. On that Monday, February 24, 2014, I was preparing to travel to the bank when I received a phone call from Isaac stating he could not provide me with the funds but rather a small disbursement and a new cashiers check. I asked to speak to a Supervisor, as I was confused about this change, and Isaac assured me that one would call me back as soon as possible and that he personally would call back toward the end of the day to confirm that I spoke with a supervisor. Guess what? I received no calls from Wells Fargo at all. The next morning on February 25, 2014, I met with Charlene at the Wells Fargo branch located at 4550 Atlantic Blvd., Long Beach, CA 90 807. She was very confrontational and just repeated to me what Isaac had said. I asked her what she would do in my shoes and she replied that she would of just taken the check to the new bank who I do business with. I explained that they would need additional time to issue the funds and she stated that I had already waited a week with Wells Fargo so why should waiting another week be a problem? When I pressed for an explanation on why I was told my request would not be a problem and now it is, she replied that it was (A.) a management decision (B.) she never said it wouldn’t be a problem and claimed she never told me to bring two forms of ID. She then put her hand up to me, as a gesture that she’s had enough, rose from her chair and proceeded to help another customer, while I was still seated with an unresolved issue watching her clearly.
Needless to say, I was and still am quite frustrated.
I had been an account holder for over 20 years with Wells Fargo and I expected a much higher level of service from this bank, and I am quite disappointed.

I live down the street from this bank and wish it was better. The staff acts like their customers have all the time in the world and pass you from one employee to another. The supervisors have not met any of my needs and I will not return to the branch again.

Just had the best banking experience ever! Luiggi was enthusiastic, friendly, and happy to go beyond the typical customer service routine to help me out. I was just making a deposit, but he definitely put a smile on my face with his courtesy. As I type this, Just over heard a customer say «you make me want to jump back there and hug you!» Love this bank, I will be back! Thanks for the great service and festive atmosphere.

My employer banks at Wells Fargo, and after switching payroll companies, this one time he needed to write us a paper check.
So I went to the Wells Fargo location on 4540 Atlantic Avenue in Long Beach to cash my check. I went during my lunch hour thinking I can get things done quickly, afterall, I’ve been to other Wells Fargo Banks and they never give me a hard time about cashing a check because I don’t have an account with WF.
At this location, they made me sit down with a personal banker who tried to find out about my banking situation and tried to get me to open an account with them. After telling him I don’t need a new account, he hands my check to some woman that moves slower than a snail who is suppose to verify the check. Even after verifying the check they still took their sweet time to process it and get me my cash. She takes my check and CDL and instead of making the call immediately, she deals with other tellers first. She finally hands the check to the original teller that helps me, but she goes and helps 2 people before me!
After 20 mins of waiting and even after verifying the check, they still didn’t give me my cash. So I took the check back and left since my wife and I were already late from lunch.
The service at this specific location is horrible! The people are rude and if you don’t have an account they don’t want to help you.
This is the worse service I have ever had from any institution!
AVOID THIS LOCATION!!!
