Established in 1984.

WSS was founded as Warehouse Shoe Sale in Los Angeles, CA in 1984 by Eric Alon, who started selling shoes as a way to pay for college. Over 30 years later, WSS has over 70 stores in throughout California, Nevada and Arizona.

Great customer service, clean location, helpful employees BUT very small selection of Nikes for kids. Lots of Jordan’s, Vans, Converse and character plastered shoes but wasn’t what I was looking for… onto another WSS. This location is much smaller than the others.

I came in and the employees were very helpful. They didn’t have my size in a particular shoe and someone volunteered to look it up, and sure enough it was at a nearby store and I picked it up. I know nothing about sneakers but in my recent searching I found WSS to be an impressive store with a wide selection of sneakers at a wide range of prices.

Gaby & Julian are great!!! I came in not finding the shoe I wanted & Julian took his time & walked me around the store showing me other options. I was ready to leave until he invested so much time & attention to my needs in a shoe. To top this off Gaby at the register (not bad on the eye either) cleaned my shoes for me!!! I will be back & don’t forget to check in on Unilocal to get $ 10 off a 50 or more purchase!!!

Every time I come nobody helps. I asked someone and he just kept walking by. I them walked up to the registers and asked for help still waiting for it. Just walked out of there. Shouldn’t have to be ignored when talked to or wait over 5 min for someone to come help.

Went there for the first time about a month ago. I got a pair of cute Nike’s for a great price. I’m not sure if they were defective or what, but about 3 weeks later, I had a small issue with the shoes and it was making my right foot very uncomfortable. I went back and they exchanged the shoes for me with no hassle! I got the same ones because I loved them so much and so far there have been no problems. Thanks WSS for making the switch so easy and helping my feet out :)

I am really not a fan of writing reviews for places like this but I can’t help it, the customer service here was just too good for it to go unnoticed! I’m basically a regular here now, and never have I walked in without being greeted. I’m a really complicated customer, (who always uses their Unilocal and groupon deals) and asks a shit ton of questions, so the fact that they can even deal with me and still give me great service deserves 5 stars.

Sneaker Heads and People of the world thats looking to find a bargain on some cool urban style shoes WSS is the place to be.
Some of the prices are not great discounts and you can find better looking for a little more at your everyday footlocker, but often a pair of limited edition… rare…hard to find pair of shoes may pop up.
Think about it.
You have a gray Los Angles Clipper Hat… where else will you find some gray kicks to match???
WSS rarely lets me down… but it is hit or miss for what you are looking for.

Nice, spacious, conditioned, clean and organized store. Shopping for my little brothers new shoes, one of the employees was very sweet and helpful. I didn’t get her name, but she provided great customer service. I’ll come back here without a doubt.
