Wunder Hund serves dogs and their owners in Long Beach, California and surrounding Beach cities. I am a lifelong pet owner, animal lover, and experienced animal care provider, who will help your dog maintain a normal routine in your home environment. I participate in ongoing education courses to maintain and enhance my knowledge of professional dog care. Wunder Hund is a bonded, and insured company. It is a member of the Pet Sitters Associates LLC, CPR certified and a proud supporter of spcaLA.

History

Established in 2013.

After ten years of being a private pet sitter, I decided to volunteer with my local spcaLA. As a volunteer I interact with both cats and dogs as pet photographer, and also teach the animals basic socialization and obedience training. In 2012 I participated in spcaLA’s TLC program which teaches at risk youth the importance of being kind and loving to animals by having them care and train for shelter dogs. The dogs in the TLC program touched the children and had a profound impact on me. Every day I learn something new from the animals I work with, and it was because of this special bond that I created Wunder Hund. Wunder Hund is about one on one time with your dog, giving him or her the love, attention and exercise he or she needs while you’re away.

Business Owner

Growing up, my brother, sister and I were always rescuing the local flora and fauna. Be it stray cat, dog, injured chipmunk, or a seagull with a broken wing, we always had room to help the homeless and injured. I have always had a strong love for animals and nature, but it wasn’t until my mid twenties that I began to pet sit and dog walk. As I interacted with the animals I delighted in their various personalities and characteristics. It was then that I realized I must work with animals in a very personal way.
