Beware! Cindy lies profusely!
You could be sued for stealing someone else’s artwork, if you use Cindy to design a logo for you.
I need to pay more attention to my intuition! Cindy lied to me within the first few minutes of our first conversation, but I let it slide. My bad mistake!
I had already seen on her website that she charges $ 200 to design a logo. When I asked how much she charges, she said, «I usually charge $ 300, but for you, I will create an original logo for $ 200.»
It went downhill fast from there.
Even after I showed Cindy that I found out that she stole every one of the designs that she told me she had drawn, she still insisted that they were all her «original designs.»
Take a look: The first set of logos is what Cindy calls her «original designs.» Then I simply googled «logo successful children,» (my business name has since changed) and there they were. Every single one of her «original designs.» The logos following her «original designs» are screen shots from google.
Some of the designs were not already in use by other companies. They were available for purchase on websites that sell logos.
Wait! It does not stop there. After I showed the screen shots to Cindy as proof that I knew that she did not draw these «original designs,» and after she continued to insist that she had, I asked for my money back.
The lies continued. She has said a couple of times that she would refund the money next week. After three weeks, she still has not refunded the money. I have heard all kinds of excuses. Her most common excuse is that she «never received that email.»
Let’s see if she receives the court summons that is hand delivered by a Sherriff.
