Raw Generation

Bought their gilt option for the skinny elixirs. They get 2 stars instead of 1 because they do state the ingredient breakdown on their site. However, the content, look and even name of company suggests they sell juices. But most of their products are NOT 100% juice. Heck, even their green smoothies don’t state % of actual vegetable juice.
The skinny elixir is essentially glorified Vitamin Water at 3x markup. I work in the supplement industry. Raw generation uses powdered extracts for their elixir. The COGS on each elixir must be 30 – 40 cents, then marked up 15x. Again 2 stars instead of 1 for the brilliant marketing.

First of all let me say that good juices are not enough to make a company successful. Customer service is key! When you don’t respond to emails, that’s a problem. When the customer gets a hold of you and you’re rude, that’s a real problem. I think the founder and the customer service person might be the one and the same. Don’t allow people to place orders if you cannot fulfill them in a timely manner. And take responsibility, own up and apologize! I’ve had much better service overall from Bluprint and Evolution. And there are a ton of other juice places in the city itself. Need a juice cleanse? Go elsewhere!

This company has the rudest employees. The company is located across the street from an elementary school. My car was parked in a spot in front of their building which also houses another company. When I got into my car, an old lady from the company pulled up behind me and blocked me in. I asked her to move back a little since she was still in her car with it running. This way, I could leave and she could pull up closer to her side of the building. She refused, flipped me off, grabbed her things and high-​tailed it into Raw Generation. I didn’t get out the car since very young children were going into the school at the time. I e-​mailed the company and guess what? SHE responds saying that the woman in question was very polite and did nothing wrong. How would anyone know since no one was out their from her company? Hmmmm… sad when she can’t even own up to what she did. I will NEVER patronize this company and am spreading the word. If the customer service is this horrible before they even get to work, imagine how they are if you have a problem. Disgusting!!! And just to be clear… I didn’t want to give them any stars.
