I work in the LIC area and my co-workers kept raving that I had to try the coffee at Etto Espresso Bar! Well am I glad I did? It was worth all the hype! The staff is so welcoming and friendly and the prices are great for the amazing quality I received! I would definitely recommend everyone to check this place out immediately!

part of the charm for this place is that it feels like a «find». as of june 2016, it’s barely visible on a block that has construction going on nearby and scaffolding at the entrance. the barista was friendly, served me my iced coffee in a chilled glass, and let me sit a few minutes past closing without rushing me out. it’s a small space, so it’s not ideal for groups that want to sit and chat out loud, but it is a comfortable space to do work. i plugged in my laptop and parked myself on one of their stools for probably an hour and was able to concentrate.

Bulletproof coffee that was delish and they let me bring my dog inside as it was literally sub-zero temps outside. Us Cali kids were in over our heads and they took care of us while on our NYC adventure. We even made two trips while we were in town. Thumbs and paws up for Etto!!!

Bullet Proof coffee… Game over. Not only one of the only coffee shops… Definitely one of the best. Definitely thankful for some retail establishment in this part of LIC. NEED A FEWSMALLTABLESOUTSIDE… Great little spot.

Was so happy to find a new coffee spot by the apartment. The drinks were okay. The pastries were great(I think they come from another bakery, can’t remember the name.) The shop itself is very chic. What gives this 1 star is the conversation I over heard with one of the employees and their friends that came in. Now, I’m all for loud personal conversations, and I try not to eavesdrop, but this was just unprofessional. What really set my friend & I off was when the employee replied to his female friend with the phrase«THAT’S SOGAY.» Not cool.

You know the gentrification in LIC is real when a café like Etto pops up amidst the never-ending construction of luxury buildings and high rises. As soon as you enter, you’re greeted by the standard rustic coffee-house décor and chirpy baristas, typical of similar spots around NYC. My caffeine-loving co-workers have been thrilled since Etto opened, and it has been our routine 2:30pm coffee break spot. I’m not a huge fan of coffee, so I usually opt for the raspberry iced tea(which isn’t the best, but reasonably ok considering that this spot is more known for their coffees). My co-workers enjoy their bulletproof selection a lot, which I would describe as hipster coffee with a slab of butter and some brain octane oil. I haven’t had a chance to try out their pastries and sandwiches yet, but will update my review as soon I as do. To my fellow workaholics who love working at cafés, there is limited bar seating against the wall with plenty of outlets and sunlight.

So when I first bookmarked Etto to write a review the place had just opened. My boyfriend works in the area and we park the car nearby so he suggested I try them out. And the espresso was good. They are the best espresso bar/café in this immediate neighborhood in my opinion so I even recommended them to CUPS. After all, if they’re part of the CUPS family then it’s better for me. :D Well, a couple visits later and they got their CUPS sticker on the door. We’re now a regular here and they are clearly becoming a local favorite very quickly. Aside from the espresso, the pastries are delicious as they source them from Ceci-Cela. They also offer bulletproof coffee if you want to try it.

I would have never expected someone could make coffee so rich and decadent, but it freaking exists. The bulletproof caramel latte. I haven’t personally visited the café, but someone bought me a cup of this latte and it was sooo good. It’s not something you can drink everyday because a) it’s pricy and b) that combo of caramel and butter would probably kill you, but my god, it’s definitely good. It sounds kind of gross, but if you wanna treat yourself, go get that latte. I also got the chance to try one of their sandwiches, and it paled in comparison to my latte. They’re kind of skimpy on their sandwich fillings. I had the prosciutto, arugula and mozzarella sandwich and the layers of meat and cheese was way too thin. I could barely taste the cheese. It didn’t taste bad, but I was disappointed by how cheap they were. Other than that, I would stick with the coffee!

Great cold brew. Bulletproof latte. Nutella croissants. Friendly staff. Latte art. Accepts credit cards. A short walk from my new work building. What more could I want? Probably just some seating, but then they’d have to actually kick me out.

Probably the best quality espresso in the Queensboro Plaza vicinity. My only complaint is the weak sandwich options. Totally underwhelming and overpriced. Polite staff. Free(although spotty) wifi. Lots of outlets. No tables; just a ledge that fits a macbook. NOBATHROOM

My girlfriend and I stumbled in here and were very pleasantly surprised. It is kind of hidden amongst the construction of queensboro. It’s a little diamond in the rough in a neighborhood that resembles 12 ave in Manhattan. I don’t know if there Is more than one employee but the guy who served us was really nice. He insisted I pay after our meal and offered us a free sample of pastry. I am a fan. If I can find myself back here I will happily come back. Major thumbs up. The food was good too

I stopped by here for coffee before heading to the airport this morning. My sister and her partner go here to get coffee it seems, and boy it was a good choice. Their caramel latte is perfectly done, I didn’t even put any sugar at all. The guys are also very friendly and would make your coffee like they really care. I’d go back here in case I am in the area again.

This review is just for the coffee. They serve some pastries here, which look delicious but i haven’t tried. The décor is nice. Good place to hang out and chat. But not over a cup of coffee. So, I love coffee. I really do. But I’d rather drink the stuff they offer at the office instead of the stuff they serve here. I’ve been here three times. For espresso, and Americano, and a regular coffee. All sub par. All way too acidic. I was so excited for them to open. Unfortunately, it doesn’t meet my expectations. The espresso tasted grainy. The Americano had too much water. And the regular coffee was just not good. As you can tell, I like my coffee black. Maybe if you like a little coffee with your milk and sugar it would be ok. But not for me. Given that I’ve already given this place three tries I will officially be putting it in the«Pass» category. Sorry Etto. Thanks, but no thanks.

So I thought I’ll give this place another chance at their latte and what I get is not even latte of any sorta. No foam or art at top. The rest is pretty much just milk and over extracted espresso

Finally, a decent beverage spot around the corner from the office. The owner, Frank, is a great guy. He makes the best mocha latte. While you wait for your cup of deliciousness, watch a bit of ESPN! For the serious coffee drinkers, do try the bulletproof coffee. It is unbelievably devine! Who knew that kerrygold butter could be so good!!! Before you comment on the butter, try it! You will not regret it!

I’ve been here every morning since the grand opening and plan to make it my regular spot! Loved the mocha latte with soy milk, like drinking silk. This place is step up from your normal coffee, some of the drinks on the menu I’d never heard of. Pricing is comparable to the«leading brand» coffee shops, maybe even cheaper. P. S. Be patient, they are a new business and are working out some normal kinks.
