KOMNATA is a real-​life game, where a team of 3 – 5 players is locked in a room with mysterious atmosphere, an exit from which must be found within 60 minutes.

Komnata Quest is not just a real time game that requires you and your team to apply such qualities as resourcefulness, logic, creativity and team spirit. It’s not just a place where you can discover your hidden qualities and find new talents. Komnata is a deep one hour dive into some extraordinary atmosphere, which you can’t experience in your real life. It can take you to a medieval castle’s dungeon, a space ship, a maniac’s lair or invite you to participate in the robbery. Your task is to get out of the quest within one hour of time and try to solve the mystery that it conceals.

Highly recommended. We (barely) did it with 3 people with not much experience between us, so it’s doable. But still challenging. Ominous, but not terrifying. Psyched to try the rest of Komnata’s games. And Gabby, our gamerunner, was amazing!

This place was definitely great, I didn’t expect it to be so suspenseful. They first put you in robes and a hood which makes you really feel into it. Definitely a great experience and worth the trip. It’s different from most other escape the rooms and you have less people so putting more minds to the test!

Did «Saint Angelo castle» escape challenge and had an awesome time. Difficult but not TOO difficult, loved the historical bent, and definitely going to try one of the other scenarios. clues/​challenges were varied, and the experience kept us very engaged and immersed. Like the small size — we just had two people. Would strongly recommend!

If you tired of the dinners and bars, and craving for the exciting new experiences, Komnata Quest is what you are looking for. Five of us went to the «7 Sinful Pleasures» room. Whoa! So much fun. And yes, it’s not easy to unlock every room inside. You really need a group effort to exit them on time. I don’t want to disclose the details to keep it as unexpected secret so you will experience it yourself. It’s sexy, fun and intriguing. Keep your mind open, focus on details and listen carefully what the video says. We didn’t make it till the end lol. I really want to try it again. My sport interest has to be fulfilled.
Young team of organizers are very nice guys. Warm welcoming and big help to you in the room. There are two more rooms I want to explore. It’s endless fun and awesome memories.

This was a once in a lifetime experience! I really didn’t know what to expect and was completely baffled for a few minutes. I went with my boyfriend and his sister and it took us 55 minutes to escape. It was the most fun and thrilling thing I’ve ever had to do that wasn’t an amusement park ride,…and this is better because the adrenaline kick stays with you all day! They did a great job at the Saint Angelo’s Castle, the set-​up is great and I would recommend this to anyone and everyone who would like a a real-​life good mystery. Needless to say, we are planning our next adventure, we are thinking of doing Boxed Up next and cannot wait for 1408! ;) Also, thank to you Oksana for helping me with the booking because the phone system was down. We came here with a group of 5. We were successful in escaping «Saint Angelo’s Castle» prison in 40mins. We had a blast from the beginning to the end. It was great that we got to wear robe costume which really helped enhance the mood and with the spooky music in background. Also, the host was very welcoming and friendly. We didn’t get his name but he was great and chatted with us afterward.
This by far the best escape room we have done. I definitely recommend this place to everyone.

At first, I was really shocked at the location bc it was in a ghetto basement area in Long Island City… the lights are really dim, which gives off a more scary vibe. I played the Murder Mystery quest game and had one hour to finish it with 3 of my other friends. We literally took up half our time in the first room, SO DONT WASTE TIME. Just try to open anything, be creative and think simply. We had one more step but didn’t make it… I still wonder what was behind that door LOL

The adventure begins when you find the correct building. Although difficult to find, it kind of builds to the ambience of the place. A group of three or more venture solo, and try to escape a prison that the mad scientist failed, but a jeweler succeeded.
Venturing with your group of friend is fun. The multiple rooms and clever puzzles were great! I’m not gonna lie, I definitely yelled at my friends when I thought they were hindering my success. The puzzles really bring out your competitive side.
I’d recommend this place to any group looking for a challenging brain teaser. Don’t worry, though, if you really struggle there is an omnipotent voice that can help you out.

Went here with 2 other friends (LIC) and by far Komnata Quest holds my personal top spot for this type of escape game. The story is really detailed and you’re really immersed in it. The puzzles are also more challenging than the typical lock-​and-​key which I absolutely love. Very creative problem solving invomved and they also get 10⁄10 for décor. Can’t wait to try their newer rooms in Brooklyn!
Also talked to the one of the owners for a little while and they are so passionate about making this experience more unique than others. The only downside is that all other escape games in the future will pale in comparison.

Me and my friends had a great time at Komnata! We really enjoyed this quest — that was something really new and fresh for us! Excellent atmosphere, great puzzles and clues, very nice staff! This is a great idea for people who know how to follow instructions. I went in a group of 5 and it felt like they were going to cut us up and eat us like in a horror movie because they take your cell phones. DO NOT kick down the door. You will lose. Have patience. Try to enjoy. The russian ladies are nice but they got upset when i kicked down the door. Try this if you want but be prepared to go through a whole shady corridor.

This is my first time to experience an escape the room quest and I have to say my time at Komanata was beyond amazing!!! Definitely keeps you on your toes every step of the way. The puzzle solving here gives me the same feeling as when I play any Zelda game series. It is a superb group activity to do with friends. So many laughs, thrills, and a genuine feeling of accomplishment when you finally make through the last door. Can’t wait try another!!! Will be waiting patiently for future quests :-D

As a veteran of room escapes, I can say that this is the greatest introductory escape room we’ve ever done, and the best production out of all of them so far.
The room was a little easy for our experienced team, as we got out in a little over 30 minutes, but for people who have never done one before, this is the one that will get you hooked. Phenomenal atmosphere, great presentation, and they make you put on druid costumes and carry around fake candles. What is not to like?

Truly amazing experience. I havent done anything like that in NYC yet. Fun, challenging, mysterious! The quest really gets your brain working and your adrenalin going! What an awesome and exciting way to spend an hour with your friends. We’ve tried several of the «Escape The Room» rooms, and while those were also very interesting and engaging I felt that Komnata Quest was much cooler. The ambiance of the room, the lighting, the music– all of it adds so much more to the entire experience. We did Saint Angelo’s Castle and you actually feel like you’ve been locked in a medieval dungeon, kind of motivates you even more to escape from it. Clues aren’t easy to figure out but are totally doable if you think outside the box. If you get stuck the game master might offer some help over the speaker to help you move along to the next clue. Won’t divulge anything more, just go and check it out for yourself. Great to go with friends or with co-​workers as a team-​building exercise.

A truly unique entertainment experience! Best entertainment hour that you will spend with your friends. Went with a small group last week and was really pleasantly surprised. The plot and presentation created a proper mystery atmosphere and made us all feel very engaged in the quest to escape the quarters. Hosts were knowledgeable, courteous, and helpful. We had a great time at this game. I took my daughters and we had a blast. The only thing negative was that the audio was very hard to hear when they gave clues. Almost indiscernible. This made us waste a lot of time and took us out of the mood a bit.
Once they clean up the sound issue, I’ll give it 5 stars.
