The Hunter’s Point Bookmobile first debuted in the summer of 2014, and since that time it has been getting better and better. The book selection has been expanded and refreshed, board books and picture books are now on lower shelves and accessible to young readers, and the bus is staffed with helpful staff and volunteers to help you navigate check-​in and check-​out. The bookmobile also recently started accepting book donations (no more than 10 books at a time).
The bookmobile is now permanently parked at Center Blvd and 48th Avenue (next to the Hunter’s Point library branch that is currently under construction), and it is open every Saturday from 10am to 5:30pm.
