Established in 2011.

The New York Music School was founded in 2011 by three professional musicians to help connect students with qualified instructors.

Originally offering only in-​home lessons, our first teaching studio opened Long Island City during the summer of 2014.

Meet the Business Owner

Scott K.

Business Owner

As a teacher/​performer since 2004, Scott Kulick has helped hundreds of students reach their musical goals.

Primarily a trumpet player, Scott also teaches guitar, bass guitar, piano, drums, composition and arrangement.

Scott has both his Bachelors and Masters degrees in music and can be seen regularly performing throughout the city.
