The Little Cake Bakehouse

Jennifer is an absolute pleasure to work with! She made the most delicious cupcakes, cake and caramel apples for my daughters 1^st birthday party! They were also extremely beautifully decorated! My family could not stop raving over how yummy they were. Thank you Jen for all of your help :)

How to even begin to describe the deliciousness that is this place? In this age of over saturation in the cupcake world this place really stands out. The honey and the cherry cupcakes are the best we have ever had! Don’t miss this lovely little shop that turns out some seriously amazing sweets!

Apparently the Unilocal filter does not find my review honest. So maybe 2 reviews will make them see I am telling the truth. These cupcakes are the best in the area. I have also reviewed the other places. I wonder if those show up?

Not sure how this place got a bad review because everything I’ve ever had from here is DELICIOUS!!! From cookies, to cake pops, to cupcakes… I am so glad the Little Cake Bakehouse is not closer to where I live as I’d be fat as a house!
Not sure if it’s the area I live (right outside of NYC), but all of the shops by me charge $ 3.50-$ 5 a cupcake and are not near as good. The cupcakes are either too sweet or I end up eating the icing and throwing the rest away. I usually HATE bakery cakes b/​c I find them just dead sweet and dry. I have never found that here, all of the flavors I have tried have been really flavorful and delicious, not dry at all. Not only that, but she has so many different flavors of products and cupcakes, it’s hard not to find something you’d like. Every event I’ve taken one of these cupcakes to, they have been enjoyed! I spent $ 2.50 a cupcake, and one time it was BOGO b/​c I hit during cupcake happy hour… BONUS!
The owner seems really sweet, and if you look at the kitchen and the shop it’s really clean and everything is definitely made from scratch. They don’t skimp here. The owner is also really talented at cake decorating, so if I ever have an event — I am definitely planning on hiring her to do a cake! I looked at her portfolio of pictures of past cakes, and they are amazing.
Though I am glad she’s not too close for the reasons mentioned in my first paragraph — I wish I was a little closer so I could go here for every event that I bring stuff to. I’d much rather cater a business like this than go to the over-​hyped bakeries by my house where the stuff is not near as good, and definitely not as fresh.
