C & J Sod Farm

Great place to pick up sod. It’s always fresh cut and they can handle large orders for contractors and welcome homeowners to pick up small orders. I send my clients here when they only need a few pieces to patch in small areas. They normally have a pallet freshly cut to pull a few pieces from. I call a day in advance for my larger orders. Top quality sod at a great price.

I had scheduled a delivery for sod to be delivered on a Saturday as our landscape project would be wrapping up at that point. Saturday morning came and went and no delivery. I called and spoke with the owner who told me his son had surgery and he would be doing all of his deliveries later that afternoon which was completely fine. The evening was approaching so my husband called the owner and he was rude and acted like we never placed an order with him even though I has just spoke with him hours earlier (and spoke with him a week prior to that when ordering the sod). When my husband tried to explain that I had just spoke with him earlier that day, he hung up on him. He never called back, we never received sod. Had to call another company to do a last minute sod delivery and paid twice as much.
Would not recommend!!!

Jim is a genius with sod. I was replacing a single yard of sod that had died on my newly planted backyard. Jim doesn’t mind selling small orders to the general public and I spent 45 mins with him talking about watering, fertilizer and upkeep. He was very gracious with his time and a very nice guy. If you are a do it yourself-​er and are looking to re-​sod a yard, and happen to be in the Longmont/​Boulder/​Erie area, Jim is your guy.
