History
Established in 2008.
I have been selling antiques and unique home décor pieces for almost 20 years; all my friends have told me that I should be an interior designer.
My real passion is finding the best, most beautiful, and unusual pieces to liberate the artist and designer in all of us — and making them available in a cool, beautiful shop that you will want to visit again and again.
I keep prices low, so the turnover in my shop is very high. People comment very frequently that the inventory changes so much from week to week.
I make a big effort to support the local artisan community, so you will find local, handmade jewelry, soaps, scents, artwork, sculpture, photography, textiles, some VERY mixed media, candles — all made by people who might be your neighbors! The artisans I work with support my idea of making their work truly available to people to enjoy, so you will find them priced realistically.
Please visit — think global and buy local…
Meet the Business Owner
Renee K.
Business Owner
A East-Coaster by birth and Colorado resident by choice, Renee has lived in OId Town Arvada and Downtown Denver before falling in love with Longmont where she lives with her family.
Renee has sold antiques, collectibles and beautiful things for nearly 20 years. She has sold at every major show and many co-ops in Colorado, but has always wished for a location of her own where she could create a location that treats all the senses.
In Nest, she has created a shop that pleases the eye, delights the ear, treats the sense of smell with fresh flowers and growing herbs, satisfies the sense of taste with the finest local chocolates, and delights the sense of feel with the wonderful textures of timeworn collectibles.
For the collector and shopper, though, there is another sense to take care of: the sense of fairness. Renee believes in buying smart so she can price moderately — so all those things the customer falls in love with can actually be had for a reasonable price.
