CUSTOMERLOST. On Friday June 24, 2016, at around 5PM, my wife and I attempted to make a reservation at Caffe Luciano Lamberti, a restaurant we liked a lot, and had frequented several times before. On the phone, when we attempted to make a reservation for the next night, Saturday 6÷25÷16, at 6:30pm, we were told that«no reservations can be taken after 4PM». Unsure of exactly what that meant, we assumed it meant that no reservations were taken for evening(after 4PM) tables. We arrived at Caffe Lamberti at around 6:15PM that next evening, Saturday, June 25th. Upon our arrival, I quipped«we’ll have your finest table», jokingly… to which the receptionist said«do you have a Reservation?». My wife and I were shocked and puzzled, and we told her we tried to make a reservation, but were told that there were no reservations taken after 4PM. The receptionist then tried to seat us at a small table, behind a column, away from the open area and windows. I asked to be seated near the windows, as there were many open and empty tables there. We were told those tables were already«reserved». We again explained our attempt to make a reservation, to which she said she couldn’t help us. I asked to speak to her manager. Her manager arrived, and we repeated our story. The manager gave us a similar response, and she made no attempt to accommodate our request for one of the window tables. Dissatisfied, we lerft. We went down the street to Clancy’s and had a wonderful meal. As the broker/owner of a local Ocean City Real Estate office for the last 26 years, my agents and I are constantly asked by our summer vacationers and property owners for recommendations for restaurants. While I previously would have no issue recommending Caffe Lamberti, I will no longer recommend the restaurant due to the way were treated. It takes so little to make a Guest happy, and likewise… very little to turn them off. There are many other restaurants deserving of my recommendations, and my money. I’ve taken Caffe Lamberti off my list. Jesse Briglia.

You just can’t beat this place… We love the food and eat there a few times a week all summer. Food, staff, Tiffany and the crew are all great. We have a lot of favorites, chicken parm, filet mignon and the Bronzino to name a few. Soups, salads and appetizers are great as well. The biggest thing to me is consistency. Tiffany(owner/manager) always delivers. They just started a Sunday brunch, I hope it takes off and they do it all summer because if they do, I know where I’ll be Sunday mornings…

I was at a guest at a brunch party today(8÷30÷15). Venue space is really nice. Breakfast buffet was well done and food was delicious. The service staff did a phenomenal job! They were on top of everything! I would highly recommend for a private party.

Just ate dinner, 6 of us, and everyone was more than pleased. Lovely setting overlooking the water. We had the specials of Bronzini and Osso Buco. Others had veal and sesame tuna. All very good. One star less for an overzealous busboy who removed the plates while we were still eating. Will be going back.

Great view. Service was adequate. Had a martini it was good and moderately priced. We ordered tuna tartar which for the portion served and lack of chips with it was way overpriced. Tuna was gray not red. Our entrees were good except be prepared for a garlic overload. My dish alone had huge sautéed chunks. Desert was ok.
